Kat is very loyal. When she considers someone her friend she will stick with them until the very end or until they betray her. She will be there if her family or friends need her. She is someone you can count on. She is caring with the people she loves. She will always make sure that they are happy and healthy. Kat is the type of person that will make you chicken soup when you're ill and eat an entire jar of ice cream with you when you're sad or heartbroken. She is dedicated to what she does. She is not a quiter. When she starts something she likes to finnish even if it takes her a long time. She is honest, because for her "the truth is always easier to handle than a lie". Some people find her too honest but she just thinks that it's better to tell people what she think of them, for example if they act badly she will make them know, than just telling what they want to hear.

Which is why she is also extremely quiet and doesn't talk much, because for people being honest is often associated with being rude or jugdemental, which Kat is not. So she prefers to stay quiet than having people criticize her for what she thinks. And on top of that she doesn't really like to talk, she much more prefer to watch people, because the way people act reveal so much more about them than when they talk. She feels that she understand people better when she jus watch them. She is determined, when she got her mind on something she does everything she can to make it happen. She is reserved and prefers to stay alone in the library or the music room rather than being surrounded by a lot of people. The only people she doesn't mind being around are her mom and sister and later the guardians.

Kat can be considered quite asocial. Because being reserved is one thing but sometime she just want to be alone and she will let people and not always in the nicest ways. She is over-protective with the people she loves because she is deadly afraid to lose them. She will become really fidgety if she doesn't have constant news of how her mom and sister are doing. She can become quite controlling with her sister especially if she wants to go out with friends because she is afraid that something will happen to her. She can be reckless especially if it involves doing something for someone she cares about. She would not hesitate to put herself in danger if it was to protect someone she loves. She is vengeful, she does not forgive people. If you do soemthing against her be prepared to face her vengeance. She doesn't believe in second chances and if someone betrays her she can become the meanest person you've ever met. When she is on revenge spree there is nothing stopping her. 

⟪ FATAL FLAW ⟫

Kat's fatal flaw is her overprotective nature. When her family or friends are in danger, she won't hesitate a second before going to their rescue, even she doesn't have a plan and most likely will end up being hurt or worse in the process. It manifest itself during the most random situation, like for example someone picking on her sister, or during a very dangerous situation where it can be a matter of life and death.

⟪ BACKGROUND ⟫

Kat was born in Roosenburg to Margarita Volkova & Vadim Kondakov. She doesn't remember her father well because when she was three, her father left her pregnant mother for some other woman and Kat hasn't seen him since. Her sister, Alina, was born when Kat was four. She grew up happily, her mother making up for her father's absence. When she was a child Kat would spend all her afternoons after school and week-ends at her mother's bookstore, that's where she developped her book addiction. When they went home they would pick up Alina from the nanny and go home. Kat loved to take care of her baby sister because it made her feel responsible, and let's be real for a child it was better to play the mom with a real baby that a doll. Her mom would always be near them to watch. 

In middle school, her teachers started to get worried because she didn't have any friends and she was always alone, reading books. So they would call her mother to explain the issue and eventhough her mother tried to talk to her and explain to Kat why it was important to talk to other people, she still prefers to be alone. It prevents her to be in the middle of an argument over stupid things like you can't wear the same thing as me or he likes me better than you. 

Now that she is in high school, not much as changed except for the fact that her teachers know that it's her personality and that she won't change. Students mostly leave her alone but there is always someone that sometimes says things about her. But she just ignores them. She is an average student, her favorite classes are history and litterature. The thing about Kat is that when she doesn't like something she doesn't make an effort to get good grades, it's the case with math and physics, just science in general. She recently started to learn how to play guitar because she wanted to play an instrument.
 

⟪ HOME LIFE ⟫

At home, she spends most her time in room either reading or playing guitar or doing her homeworks. But she also helps her mother. They have a routine Alina puts on the table, get the trash out and helps with the cleaning while Kat does the laundry, cooks and helps with the cleaning, so that when their mother comes home from work she doesn't have anything to do.

They are really close and Kat knows that she can come to her when she needs advice. They have a strong bond and they tell each other everything. Her mother cares about her daughters well-being and she always make sure that they are not lacking anything.

She still threatened him to make his life a living hell if he hurt her mother, though. He is kind with Alina and her.



→ Sister, fc: Sadie Sink ⋮ Alina Volkova ⋮ 13 ⋮ Middle schooler ⋮ Kind, Independant, Caring ⋮ The most precious person in her life. Even if they argue soemtimes, as siblings do, they have a strong relationship. Alina looks up to her older sister and Kat would do anything to ensure that her little sister is always happy. They have at least once night a week a girl night out, where they go to see a movie and they go eat to a dinner. Kat loves those moments with her sister.

I looked behind me to see if there were talking to someone else but no they were talking to me.

"Huh, is it mandatory? Because I don't really like being surrounded by that many people."

Seeing the look they sent me, I added.

"But sure, I'll go, if it is for the school..."

I was trying to come up with a good excuse.

"Well, I wasn't really doing anything in those classes anyway so I figured why bother coming at all."

I was relieved that they finally stoped talking about that dance and the fact that I was missing classes. So I quickly said good bye to them and left.
