I've been swooning over Idol Producer for a bit over two months and wow, I'm attached. At first I was just curious about Justin and Zhengting so I started watching, I didn't expect myself to be into a whirlwind of feels and fall in love with so many trainees, and crying over elimination- something I never experienced while following Produce.

So two months passed and only top 20 is left, which is sad, but it means their debut is very very near. Again here's my warning: there's going to be a bunch of my own personal opinions here and it may differ from yours, so please don't get offended!

Here are the top 20:

1) Cai Xukun
- At first I wasn't really fond of him since his "I Wanna Get Love" performance was too greasy for me, and I still cringe while watching it now. But then I started noticing him more, not because he's hella talented (what? He can do ANYTHING, a perfect human being), but also because his personality. I literally never saw anyone with such a big heart, so selfless, willing to sacrifice himself for his Dream teammates, and he just dotes on his fans (ikun) so much I'm jealous of his fans lol. Was the center for Ei Ei, and truly deserves the unwavering 1st place. 

2) Chen Linong 
- What a sweetheart! The first time he walked into the recording studio I was smitten by his smile, the crinkles around his eyes, the bowl hair cut, oh gosh, he's so cute!!!! However he's a giant standing at a whooping 183cm at 18 years old (and still growing taller, according to himself). He's experienced his own share of downhills too, he's read all the comments, malicious or not, on the Internet, and comments on Weibo could be very toxic (if you thought Pann is toxic enough then you are wrong), he's lost his smile for like 3 weeks/3 episodes, but he's back to his cheerful self again! I'm so soft for him ;-;

3) Fan Chengcheng
- Seriously has he ever got anything other than no.3- never mind. He's been in third place since like 1st episode? His ranking graph is actually a straight line (straighter than me-oops). He looks cold but he's so freaking funny seriously every single idol or trainee with good looking face is always abusing their advantages by becoming a meme. He has a superstar sister (Fan Bingbing) but he's trying to prove that he can be famous by his own abilities. Oh, and he's a Yuehua trainee.

4) Justin
- First of all, where has the cute baby in Produce gone? He's totally...badass in this show. Despite being the youngest trainee left in this show, he is lowkey controlling his brothers lmao. Look at him bullying Qian Zhenghao (1 whole year older than him) and even accidentally calling him didi (younger brother) I almost choked laughing at that part. Also he's damn intelligent like no one can try to prank him he could see through everything at once

5) Wang Ziyi
- Truthfully the first impression on him is only that he's a good friend of Cai Xukun's (psst, I ship them), but then as the show progresses I can see why they're such good friend. I mean, they're literally soulmates, with the same ambition in music and all, and very selfless too. I can't believe people are hating on him for being friends with Xukun, he so doesn't deserve this. Also, he's an amazing rapper and is manbun is just ugh, so hot.

6) Xiao Gui
- Okay to be very honest I am not very fond of him, he is just not my style. First is his dreadlocks- uhm, no. Then, I don't like a person who's always trying to be "full of swag", to the point almost every world he said is like saying a rap. I don't really like him, so sorry to his fans!

7) Zhu Zhengting
- MY SWEETHEART! He's not even my first pick (coming up soon), but I believe everyone has a soft spot for him. First of all he said in an interview that he started dancing at a very young age (9 years old) and was a trainee for a very long time, so I suppose he didn't know much about things, so he's pure, innocent, soft-hearted  etc. He's such a sweet leader of the Yuehua sprouts, and his image doesn't really differ a lot from when he was in Produce, sweet kind angel. Fans call him a fairy in the mortal world and I agree whole-heartedly with this nickname because he's just so good looking!
A bonus fact: the exact moment I fell for him is when they tied themselves from a bungee rope and struggled forward to acquire gifts for the Citizen Producers, he tried really hard, practised a lot but still failed to get any, so his friend beside him gave him one of his gifts. Zhengting was choking up while telling the viewers to also thank his friend (it's Huang Xinchun if I'm not wrong) for the gift, and that's the moment I knew he's genuinely a kind and pure-hearted person.

8) You Zhangjing 
- PICK! His eyes are so freaking pretty, reminds me of Luhan's eyes. Many people say he looks like Luhan too! The moment I heard his name I was like "wait I heard this name somewhere else before but I don't know when", and then his goddamn self introduction video! He was playing the piano, and then the moment he opened his mouth to sing he was like singing "Apa khabar my name is You Zhangjing" and I was like OH MY GOSH WAIT HOLD UP IS HE A MALAYSIAN and I was not disappointed at all! In fact, sources pointed out he's from the same state as me (although in different districts). Hmm there's a saying that all Malaysians are foodies (approved, because I'm a foodie!), and he's certainly not the exception. His predebut pics are so cute, he's so chubby but he has the vocals from heaven (What I Miss/Reminiscing team snatched my wig). He's also very helpful, we can see him teaching other trainees singing techniques, like the way he taught his What I Miss teammates (Quanzhe to be exact), he taught Ziyi when he joined I'll Remember team too, and he even tutored Ling Chao who's from Firewalking team. Finally what makes me like him so much: his freaking ACCENT!! Some people say that the way he talks and pronounces every word is weird and his Mandarin is not good, but to me it's very endearing and familiar to me, since we Malaysian-Chineses speak like that, it's very unique and nontheless, still understandable and accurate!
Actually, to be painfully blunt, Zhangjing does look slightly chubbier than his fellow trainees, but never mind he's still cute and most importantly he can sing like a diva!

9) Bu Fan
- He looks intimidating and terrifying, and he has a love-hate relationship with Xiao Gui. His deep baritone voice scares me sometimes too. His self introduction video is H I L A R I O U S, and he's another example of abusing his looks. When he stood next to Zhangjing in the latest episode he is a whole head taller than Zhangjing lmao (or Zhangjing is just smaller in build?). He's a responsible leader for Listen To What I Say team, and the way he broke down because he felt like he failed Yunyi (the group's ex-leader, who was eliminated in 60-to-35 eliminations) really pained me. 

10) Qian Zhenghao
- HE IS SO ADORABLE I'M SQUEALING. He's actually not the youngest in the competition, but everyone treats him like he is the adorable maknae (sorry can't find an English word more endearing than youngest), including Justin who is a whole year younger than him, maybe because he's shorter than Justin. (Fun fact: He's only days older than me!) His first performance left the whole studio shook (yes he's the one who sang City of Stars in the 1st ep), and then in Xiao Ban he met some difficulties getting used to other teammates' vocal tones, but he came through! Zhengting really really dotes on him he's always squishing his cheeks, Xukun dotes on him a lot too, every time they talk about Zhenghao there's nothing but soft fondness inside their eyes. I like him a lot too and I hope I can see more of this cutie!

11) Lin Yanjun
- Just a few hours ago I was watching his videos and I was like he reminds me of some Kpop idol but I'm not sure who, but now I remember! Know Kim Seokjin from BTS? Yes Yanjun really reminds me of Seokjin! Having killer looks, but is actually super funny (example #3 of abusing his handsome looks), knows how to seduce girls with his stare and his WORDS, and his cold jokes chill me to the bones. Bonus point: He's Zhangjing's soulmate, the both of them needs to debut as a comedian duo together lmao. He never got this high a ranking before, probably because his performance in Firewalking is so entrancing that everyone swerved to him. 

12) Bi Wenjun
- He's crazily good looking, oh gosh. I don't know much about him tbh, but poor bby burst into tears when he was called as 13th, because some of Yuehua sprouts are eliminated. He's a good vocal too, he won the position evaluation together with Zhangjing. 

13) Ling Chao
- His performance in Xiao Ban team is so good, but my knowledge on him stops here. Apparently he's also doted on a lot especially by his company's trainees (besides Mu Ziyang, he beats him up whenever he got the chance lmao).

14) Zhu Xingjie
- THIS MAN RIGHT HERE, DESERVES WAY BETTER THAN THIS RANKING. He can rap extremely well, and he's the center of the Dream team, so he did vocals and was surprisingly good at it. He's also a magician, and even though he looks cool he's known as Huba (search it up on Google I'm too lazy to explain), and Zhenghao and Justin mustered up their courage to pinch his cheeks (and got a good beating but it's so funny), I can tell that beneath his tough look he is actually soft inside.

15) Lin Chaoze
- He can spin like a top, he got into trouble for allegedly plagarising Yugyeom's choreo in the company evaluation, his tone is fresh in Firewalking, and he and Zhangjing are good bros. He looks a bit arrogant but we all know he has every right to be. A really responsible leader of Banana's Trainee18 too (if I'm not wrong he's the leader)

16) Jeffrey
- He probably got attention because he's the second one to enter the studio on the first episode, and his personality is adorable (naturally a bit- slow? How do I say 呆 in English?), but he doesn't get a lot of screentime and lines alike. It's a little bit surprising that he's still in at this time. I hope all the best for him!

17) Qin Fen
- You might know him, he was in a Kpop group called The Legend and his stage name is Roi. He's currently the eldest contestant in the show, and well, I don't actually have a lot of impression on him? I'm mostly focused on his labelmate Han Mubo (who unfortunately got eliminated at 24th). Might start paying attention to him soon.

18) Li Xikan
- Also have no impression on him. He's saved by the 50000 votes added to the winning team of 35 boys 5 concepts probably, we can expect to see more of him.

19) Xu Shengen
- I didn't have a lot of impression on him until he was in one group with Zhu Xingjie (Artist team). Hope to see more from him too.

20) Zheng Ruibin
- He was fighting for 20th place with Zhou Yanchen, but the 50000 votes saved him. Kinda like the situation with Guanlin and Yongguk in Produce. I don't know a lot about him too.

Now here's a plethora of personal opinions and there's a high percentage for many people to get offended, so I apologise in advance. Here are my thoughts on what are the saddest eliminations and who might make it into the final group:

1) Cai Xukun has to be the center, no other people accepted!
2) Nongnong has to make it in too, he lights up the whole room just by smiling and he has a rich tone
3) ZHANGJING NEEDS TO BE MAIN VOCALIST EVERYONE PLEASE GO VOTE FOR HIM
4) Zhu Xingjie deserves to be in the group, but I think one mountain cannot have two tigers (a Chinese idiom), we must choose between him and Xiao Gui
5) Similiar to above, there can only be Ling Chao or Zhenghao in the group and not both, but I won't mind if both makes in
6) Yanjun needs to debut with Zhangjing, Ziyi needs to debut with Xukun!
7) We need more vocalists in the final group, the top 9 now is unbalanced
8) Eliminated trainees who deserved better: Li Quanzhe, Zhou Rui, HAN MUBO, Li Junyi, Luo Zheng
9) If there's more rappers than vocalists in the final group then I'm unstanning
10) Justin, Zhengting and Chengcheng, only two of them might make it in. (My personal picks are Zhengting and Justin)
11) In conclusion, my ideal final group consists of Cai Xukun, Chen Linong, You Zhangjing, Zhu Xingjie, Wang Ziyi, Qian Zhenghao, Justin, Lin Yanjun, Bi Wenjun/Lin Chaoze/Qin Fen
