1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

Does this answer the question?

2. Which is your most subscribed story?

Little Snowflake
(Look at that shameless promoting.)

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

The person in it changes every time I post up a new story. Previously it was Chungha, but now it's Irene.

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I feel like I'm close to a lot of people, so I can't just pick one out of the friends I've made here. But heEEEEY shoutout to Sammi!

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Other than my own to spot any errors, nope.

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

22 on this account.

7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?

I haven't put up that many stories here, but I do find myself giving my characters different jobs so... Is there such thing as an Occupations AU or-

8. How many friends do you have?

115 plus a number of unattended friend requests. I'm sorry, I'll get to them soon.

9. Is there something you’d like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

DDLG/B. One that involves baby bottles and binkies.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc...?

All of the above, except graphic design because I don't think I'll be getting into that anytime soon.

11. How many subscribers do you have?

2461 unique and 3192 in total. Holy sh-

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

Two! :D But I have one more coming up soon.

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

I don't have stories, but I do have plans and ideas. Loads of them.

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I have this document called the 'Idea Box' and that's where I sort of dump any random ideas that come into my head.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

No. I tried, but it didn't really work out because both the author and I were busy at the time.

16. How did you discover AFF?

I wanted to quench my JinChan thirst so I googled them and found a bunch of stories here. If you aren't familiar with the ship, it's B1A4's Jinyoung and Gongchan. I think I was 13 around the time of their debut?

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Fairly. I personally wouldn't say that I am, but I do find people talking about my fics on Twitter sooo I have no idea. I don't make the rules.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

This would be so cute, but I don't. Is this like a thing these days? It would be a little weird for me too because I'm like a normal person and having a fandom is like... It's weird. Not bad weird, but like... strange weird. Do you know what I mean?

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

They would know who they are. c;

20. How many karma points do you have?

Above 6k. What do you even do with karma points tbh?

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

You will always start out ty. Believe me. But there's nowhere to go but up from there.
There are times when you feel like giving up probably because you don't feel it anymore or maybe someone said something bad about your story, but if your intentions were right in the beginning, you're not here to please anyone but yourself.
Also very important is to be nice to the ones who are nice to you. Readers will appreciate a comment reply or even a post on their wall. Befriend them and you'll be surprised to find the number of people who will give you a pat on the shoulder when you're feeling down or need a confidence boost.
And always remember that your work is yours and you're in charge of how you want your story to go.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I plot out the major events, but I figure out the small little details as I go. It's a bad habit tbh.

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

Yes. Plenty, because my stories tend to be on the baby-er side (that's not a word lol) of DDLG, which involves my OC acting more child-like than other OCs. I told them that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to the kink and I don't expect them to like my content because I get it. But what I don't like is when people compare OCs or characters of different stories written by different authors. I mean, you would think your parents are jerks if they compared you to that kid who gets more A's and golden star-shaped stickers than you in your classroom, right? Same case here.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc...)

Filler scenes. They don't have much going on, but they can be important for character development or story build up.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

I'm on a break, but I have plans to start on Little Camellia next month.

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Sometimes... Okay, all the time. I have so many story ideas and usually, readers are always excited to read more from you so you gotta have something you're ready to pull out from your sleeve.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

No. I have lecture recordings and assignments chasing after me.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Yes! I can't even look at the first story I've written. It was horrifying and I still think I have a loooong way to go. When I read the stories that I've written quite recently, sometimes I don't even recognize my own crap. The good crap, I mean. That's a sign that I don't completely believe in myself yet.

29. What is your favorite story that you’ve written?

Little Snowflake. It's the first story that I wrote after a while and I think it really shows who I am. I feel a very strong connection with the OC.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

Little Snowflake HAHAH. Some parts of it were awkward, I have to admit, and some parts were rushed.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

I think I would still be posting my crap on AFF and writing on my laptop after a long day of filing prescriptions and counselling patients.

32. How many upvotes do you have?

238.

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

Planning. That's the fun bit.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

Getting started. Descriptions and intros are hella hard okay.

35. Why do you write?

It's fun. It's a safe space for me to just be my own self and share the excitement or despair or any other feelings that come out as a product of the idea factory in my head. It's a great deal of fun to see others feeling the same things you do when they read your words and tell you that they liked it, or when they curse at you for giving them another cliffhanger. It's a way to disconnect yourself from whatever you're going through and focus on one thing that you enjoy. I guess I can say that writing is sort of like a healthy escape for me.

I HAVE ARRIVED
okay so anyways, i thought it was funny that you came on AFF to "quench the thirst" of your ship haha. bc sameee girl. albeit a different ship.
and tbh for me, planning stories is just....idek boring? you're lucky you find it easy! for me, it's just like "wow what happens after the ." but at the same time, i find starting stories and writing descriptions and intros soo easy!
also i feel the same way about reading my own writing! i read the first story i ever wrote a few weeks ago and man, i couldn't get through the crap. i wrote it when i was like 10 or 11 and it really showed; there were still a few good-ish parts in it, but mostly unnecessary usage of ellipses and wrong dialogue tags. and a lot of "said." but now, i read my crap, and it's like "WOWOWOWW WHO WROTE THIS? IS IT M?E OMG IT IS ME." i think as long as we're impressing ourselves with our own writing, it's a sign we're also improving--but underestimating what we write.
and girllll i'm jealous of the attention you get sometimes. i'd be talking to someone new here, and sometimes i'd ask for like fic recs, and what do you know?? "read little snowflake! it's so good." and i'm just like (⊙︿⊙✿) haha, but that's a good thing. you're proliferating AFF so that's fire.
so yeah~ i wish we talked more or something too. i feel like we could be good friends irl, but you're in the UK a few timezones away ahah
