Bus Tales #2

There has been a lot of negativity going around, so read this to have your mood lifted!

Why do I seem to always cross paths with adorable people on my way to and from uni? It's such a blessing.

Today, instead of a little 5/6-year-old, an elderly woman stepped on the bus. She took her time fishing out her bus pass out of her cute little bag, but what attracted me was her gentle smile. She was so CUTE!

Now normally I'd be super impatient when people take their time to hop on the bus because I have goddamn lectures and workshops to attend, especially if it's in the morning. But this petite old lady seemed like she'd be the type to have a kind heart with the way she smiled and her manners when she asked a guy if the seat next to him was unoccupied.

I was smiling the whole time. I didn't stare at her (that would make me a creep), but she was reading the paper and I saw bits that were circled and little notes scribbled at the side. ISN'T THAT CUTE? Like who would even pay that much attention to detail?

She got off the bus two stops later and she just snatched my heart when she waved at the driver. With her adorable smile! People here normally just walk out or mutter a short "Thanks" or "Cheers" but she actually waved! I'm dead. I have such a weak heart–for children, the elderly and animals in particular.

Love life. Be kind to others.
