— FACEPAINT.
FACE CLAIM — Jang Dahye (Heize
BACK UP FACE CLAIMJung Eugene
APPEARANCE — Suhyo has long flowing hair which goes down to her middle back, which is dyed a light brown, currently. She mostly lets it be, though sometimes tie it up in a ponytail to keep the strands away from her pale face. She has sharp eyes that, by the correct lighting seems to flash blue. Her red lips are mostly in a half smile, and she possesses fair skin. Her collarbones are visible, and she has a slender build which she uses to her advantage. Her feet are small like her hands, with long fingers that makes her a natural pianist. She stands at 168cm and weighs 50kg.

STYLE — Suhyo likes wearing boyish clothes and a comfortable look that is at the same time stylish. Mostly, she opts for a simple T-shirt with sweatpants, what with the large amount of dance practices she needs to attend, with a hoodie that is most likely borrowed from Hyunwook or snatched from her brother's closet when she's packing for school. In summer, she likes wearing short-sleeved shirts with shorts that comes down to just above her knees, with a hoodie just for the sake of it. On colder days, her wardrobe undergoes a change. Instead of being just comfortable, she wears tighter pants which shows off her legs, large sweaters which hang from her frame or a white shirt coupled with either a plaid or bomber jacket.

Suhyo likes accessories, but only a few of them. She wears a scarf on cold days but doesn't actually need it, as well as small earrings and ball caps. She hates makeup and dresses with a passion and never uses or wears them except for formal occassions like the school Christmas ball. (and when she does, she's drop-dead gorgeous)

She likes wearing her hair either in a ponytail, or lets it flow down.

— SHARP AS A PENCIL.
PERSONALITY
♚ sarcastic, caring, friendly, foul-mouthed, irritable, stubborn, independent, arrogant

As mentioned in Hyunwook's app, being sarcastic is really a family trait and can be seen in almost all members of the Shin and Lee family. She, like Hyunwook, uses sarcasm as more of an entertainment than really seeking to hurt others, but when she wants to, her words can cut you like a knife.

Suhyo is also caring, as shown when she likes to fret over her friends and family, and likes to help others when they're in trouble, sometimes even at the risk of her own self. Being friendly, she likes to know people, and thus has garnered for herself a rather large group of friends.

However, she is foul-mouthed, and doesn't bother concealing the swear words that tumble out of , seemingly out of control whenever she is annoyed or angered, or when something insignificant like dropping a pen happens. She really just swears all the time. And it doesn't really help the fact that she is easily angered and has a short temper, since she likes getting annoyed or angered over trivial things like, oh like Shin Hyunwook not separatng the white and coloured clothes because he's an idiot. However, if she gets really angry (for real and not over little things like that), she doesn't talk that much, and one wouldn't decide to go near her at all.

She's also extremely stubborn, and likes to get her way with quite a few things, and which also results in arguments with her friends. Suhyo doesn't like being that stubborn though, since it can ruin her relationships, but sometimes it just comes out naturally.

However, she's quite independent, and can survive on her own very capably and would've probably continued to do so if not for Shin Hyunwook suddenly being dumped in her life. She also doesn't really like relying on others much, and would prefer to use her own way or does things her own style or way, hence relating to her stubborn nature.

She unfortunately is quite arrogant too, though she's trying her best to change it because it can make people have a bad impression of her. This is mostly due to the large amount of time she spends onstage, dancing and carrying herself around with a confident air.

— DRAW MY LIFE.
PAST — Lee Suhyo is born in Shanghai, China, in a rather cold spring day, and her Chinese name is decided by her grandmother, since plum is a type of flower that survives the best in cold weather, and is known for their strong nature which allows them to survive in such harsh weather conditions.

She grew up rather normal, without much drama and showered by love from both her parents and brother, who doesn't resent her being the youngest now, and in fact, even dotes upon her.

However, once she starts middle school, she realises her calling lies in art instead of the typical career path that her parents want her to pursue, which is being a lawyer. Her parents then started forcing her to study harder and to attend several tuition classes that she never has interest in to start with, causing Suhyo to flee and find reassurance in the world of art.

When she creates art, she has always felt that her creations are alive, so it is no surprise to her, who has been imagining everything, that the bird she drew one day took flight and flew away towards the sky. Excited, she told her brother, who, instead of sharing her enthusiastic reaction, is worried for her wellbeing, and sought, coincidentally, the same psychiatrist, Han Seungmin.

She then sees him frequently, even though she knows there's nothing wrong with her. The sessions with him just further proves this point, and while she's relieved, she's also eager to know how this power works. Seungmin thus told her everything.

Later that day, she wakes up, terrified as she has seen the nightmares of the devils and everything that has been told to her, and couldn't go back to sleep, and so she turns to art, as she always has done before. However, instead of offering her reassurance, it only causes her panic when a blade of grass cuts her on the wrist.

Suhyo's mental state continues to go downhill, and it was only due to Seungmin that she's saved. She now regularly sees the psychiatrist to treat her unstable state, and faces pressure from her parents as well.

PRESENT — After she graduated high school, she ran away, unable to cope with the pressure and stress of facing her parents, who demanded so much from her. She also stopped doing art for some period of time, and instead found dancing and history interesting, and so chose those courses. By some coincidence, her cousin Hyunwook studies at the same university as she does, and so they decides to share an apartment because housing is damn expensive nowadays.

Suhyo secretly knows about Hyunwook's condition, but since she herself is unsure and quite unstable, she doesn't offer advice and merely watches him.

She is also trying desparately to cure her depression, and thankfully, being away from the claustrophobic lifestyle her parents has forced her to be has had some help, and she's growing increasingly happy day by day.

TRIVIA —
- She likes to sleep, and can crash anywhere, anytime, and however. Once she was sleeping standing up in the dance room because the floor was too hot.
- Likes cats, and has a pet at the apartment named Skull
- Her favourite flower are roses, as they're beautiful, but also have a dangerous sting
- One of her habits include scratching the inside of her wrist or the back of her hand when she's fustrated or annoyed, so as to control her temper
- Not a morning person either
- Can cook, somewhat
- Hates it when people teases her
- Likes watching anime
- Gets tired easily
- Biual again
- She hates slow wifi
- A tomboy
- Likes singing in the shower and constantly gets yelled at because Hyunwook thinks her singing is terrible (like his is any better lmao)
- Chinese name is Li Xuemei, meaning snow plum
- Can play the piano
- Has her own cover dance channel on Youtube, which is named Kittenhyoviex
- Loves desserts
- Has a tendency to have a collection of mugs in her room when she works in there because she doesn't bother cleaning them up
- In their apartment, Hyunwook is responsible for the laundry and taking out the trash, as well as making their beds which he loathes
- They both hate cleaning the toilet (or unplugging it, for that matter)
- The cousins like spending Friday evenings binge-watching anime because neither of them feels like going out or indeed, doing anything constructive

— LOOK AROUND.
FAMILY —
mother / Kang Dahye / 55 / stern, strict, demanding
Suhyo dislikes her mother because she's the one who's most hard on her. Suhyo doesn't trust her much, nor relies on her much because her mother would dismiss her problems as irrelevant anyways. So, she keeps shut, but secretly wishes for a loving mother, and often turns to her sister, Kang Chaeyoung instead, causing Dahye to be angry and argue with her daughter. The two don't have the best relationship, and it's obvious.
father / Li Xingmen / 55 / distant, cold, stern
Xingmen isn't home very often, but when he is, he mostly just scolds his daughter and praises his son, because of the different paths they decide to pursue. Suhyo doesn't like him that much either because like his wife, he demands a lot from his daughter as well. She is thankful for the time that he isn't home, and likes to spend it cursing her father. The two don't have the best relationship either tbh.
brother / Lee Seungwoo / 24 / caring, smart, cold [faceclaim; Park Junhee of A.C.E]
Seungwoo, being brought up by parents that Suhyo hates, has inherited some traits from them, thus his cold personality. He's trying to change for the better though, for he has once walked in on Hua berating Suhyo about her future career and plans, and decides that perhaps his parents aren't as wonderful as they turn out to be, and so tries to change, and takes care of Suhyo more. Even from childhood, the two are fairly close, so Suhyo lets him in and confides in him too. He's the only person in the family she trusts.
cousin / Shin Hyunwook / 20 / sarcastic, dramatic, rebellious
Hyunwook is a handful, as everyone who has encountered him would be inclined to agree. However, since both of them live under the same roof, they will have to get along with each other, which the two try to and ultimately succeed. Since Suhyo is the older one by a few months, she is considered the more mature (which she technically is) and the one in charge. Although the two might argue over stupid things like who does the cleaning of the toilet for the week, they tend to get along quite well, and enjoy each others' company.

FRIENDS —
best friend / Volkov, Sofya / 21 / fun-loving, wise, cheerful
Sofya sits next to Suhyo in history class, causing the two to form a bond immediately. The two somehow hits it off together, and they like to hang out either in Suhyo's studio, or Sofya's dorm because she doesn't have a dormmate, or just simply at a cafe or some quiet place. It's a really cool friendship, and of course, being best friends, they have their moments of sassing each other out, and getting into stupid arguments, but generally, they're the sort of friends that just feel very comfortable around each other.
♚ 'mom' / Cha Hakyeon / 24 / protective, dramatic, kind
Hakyeon is one of Suhyo's friends from her dance class, and because he was doing a traditional and elegant style of dance, she immediately fell in love with it and begged him to teach her. He did, and after that they started working on choreography together. In her group of friends, Hakyeon is considered the mom because he likes to nag and takes care of people constantly as if they were his own children. He means well, but is just very annoying.
best friend / Myoung Mina / 22 / charismatic, creative, fun-loving
Mina is another of her friends from her dance class. Since both of their styles are somewhat similar, they like to work on choreography together as well. Since Mina is a tomboy like her, they can just be themselves around each other, without any pressure. They mostly like hanging out in the dance studio or practice rooms scattered around in the campus.

OTHERS —
pet / Skull / 2 / proud, likes to get into fights, but also likes to be pampered by Hyunwook and Suhyo
Skull is another pet that resides in the apartment that the two of them live in. Since she was originally an alley-cat, she gets into fights a lot, and likes to sneak out of the dorm to get a taste of nature. Ever since Suhyo picked her up from the adoption centre, she was under her constant care, and started to lose that original passion that gets her into fights with other cats. However, she doesn't really get along well with Persephone. Goodness knows why. Here's a picture of her; here
pet / Moonlight/ 2 / high-and-mighty, spoiled, wary
She could very well be the long-lost relative of Persephone. Like her fellow cat, she was bought from a pet store, and brought home just to be spoiled and therefore, like Persephone, likes to scratch people whose hands wander around her without her consent. However she's extremely loving towards Hyunwook and Suhyo. She is wary around Skull, but is on better terms with her than with Persephone who screeches at the sight of Skull. Here's a picture of her.
psychiatrist / Han Seungmin / 43 / kind, helpful, gentle
Seungmin somehow, by sheer coincidence ends up being Suhyo's psychiatrist as well. He helps her a lot with her mental problems and her powers, which are quite unstable. Seungmin helps her with trying to stabilize her condition, however, sometimes he's not the most reliable person ever and Suhyo grows impatient. Still, she relies on him a lot for helping her with her mental problems and being a shin

— PAPER HEART
STRENGTH — Suhyo's powers is between 'strong' and 'very strong'. Her creations might once in a while come off the page, but sometimes it just cuts her or hurts her in a way that really stings. Seungmin realises quickly enough that the more her mental state becomes unstable, the stronger her power becomes, so when she's in a really happy mood, nothing will happen much. And she hopes it to stay that way too, since she suffer from nightmares that are probably worse than Hyunwook's and ends up waking up night after night, teeth gnawing on her pillowcase and eyes wide open, the scenes of whatever horror still burning behind her eyelids.

Whenever she grows fustrated and annoyed, she likes to vent it out on drawings, and unfortunately whatever she draws cuts her, even the smallest blade of grass. Suhyo also suffers from nightmares and sees ink dripping from her walls, but she knows to keep quiet in a way that no one even knows she's afraid, yet she yearns for affection and warmth and basically everything that makes her safe. Being a shin makes her feel hunted.

Her words also sometimes have power, though not as much as her drawings. Suhyo realises that it only manifests itself when she writes traditional Chinese characters, so as long as she doesn't do that, the words themselves doesn't have powers.

STABILITY — Suhyo is unstable. Extremely unstable and teetering on the edge of insanity. Due to her random mood swings, it's really hard to predict what she would be feeling like next, so she is very careful about herself. Suhyo, whenever she is in one of her depression spells, tries to stop herself from drawing in order to feel at peace and to release the excess amount of power by scratching her wrists, but eventually was forced to draw or write something so as to let her power regulate inside of her. Once, when she became unstable, she rushed off to Seungmin's clinic, who immediately let her into the locked room that she requested for whenever she is unstable (which is also soundproof), and then starts to torture herself by drawing seemingly harmless things that at the end came out of the paper and harmed her, as well as screaming out of fustration which helps a lot. It's terrible, but she has to get through it.

At least, that's what she thought until she met Taemin.

GzbYltp.png

— LEE TAEMIN.
Park jeongsu (super junior)
NICKNAMES —
( ♚ — Taemi; ) Tae is her nickname for him, and 'mi' in Chinese means pretty. Suhyo often teases him about being a pretty boy.
( ♚ — Taeeee; ) [note the long drawn note at the end] Whatever she whines when she wants something from Taemin, which is rarely ever.
( ♚ — Idiot; ) a cute nickname Suhyo bestowed upon him
( ♚ — That Dancing...Thing; ) Because Hyunwook can't remember names, he refers to Taemin as such whenever he needs to talk about him (it's usually subject to change though; however, 'that' and 'dancing' is often remained)

SUMMARY
PERSONALITY

Taemin is a strong individual who has confidence in everything he does.  He normally comes off as intimidating due to his stage presence, especially since people usually see him onstage and not really know him (he's a dance major like Suhyo), but when one knows him, he's a very protective and caring.

He is usually polite and obedient, especially to those who are his elders. Taemin respects everyone, and if you respect him, he's good. He also generally treats others how they treat him, because he thinks it's the best way to get along with others.

However, once you managed to know him, he would become a fun-loving individual who's also extremely competitive and well, energetic. He's also sarcastic, popping a few remarks here and there that makes people's heads swivel a 180 degree just to look at him.

Taemin also is extremely patient, and thus this helps when coping with his girlfriend. Whenever Suhyo felt like breaking into a row with people, he's always there to calm her fire down. Yet, when he gets mad, it's generally not a good sight and nearly no one can extinguish his wrath.

Oh, and he's also quite stubborn. Though not at the degree of Suhyo who fights about nearly everything. Ouch.

RELATIONSHIP TRIVIA

- Taemin loves her cats. Especially Skull, who tries to wriggle out of his hold everytime he holds her

- They love couple-dancing together

- Seungwoo doesn't like him because brothers do that

- Hyunwook is somewhat protective over his cousin so he likes to watch Taemin with pointed glares.

- Taemin is a very weak shin; he only sees the ink very rarely and doesn't have to frequently draw like Suhyo does

- Taemin likes hitting Suhyo affectionately, and by that I mean small consistent taps and nudges with his foot or fingers that leads to them having a fake wrestle match

- Taemin wants to learn Chinese; Suhyo threw a dictionary at him and told him to self study

- Whenever Taemin sees Hyunwook and Hakyeon around her he gets jealous, but after knowing Hyunwook is her cousin he doesn't do it anymore; even though she insisted Hakyeon is sort of gay he still refuses to drop his behaviour

- Taemin doesn't like her family, especially her parents (with the exception of Hyunwook), period.

- Taemin gives her roses on the 14th of each month; he claims it's a different Valentine's Day as well as her birthday anniversary. It's only a small bunch, like three or six, and colour according to the birthstone of the month, but Suhyo loves it

- He's not a morning person either, so they like spending Sunday mornings just lying in bed and cuddling (he likes to sleepover at their place and Hyunwook likes to disappear to Jaebum's dorm)

- One of their ideal dates include eating and binge-watching anime together

- Taemin helps a lot when it comes to her powers; he comforts her and holds her close whenever she felt like breaking apart into pieces. Ever since they date, Suhyo's powers became more stable because she's happier

- Suhyo lets out noises similar to purring when she's curled up, napping beside Taemin, hence her nickname

- They like to argue about random and stupid stuff

— LOOK OUT.
FIRST MEETING — It all started with a bouquet of roses. Well, specifically, three yellow roses bounded with a pale ribbon, placed at her doorstep. At that time, Suhyo was sick, and rather miserable because she....just felt down, plus the rain wasn't really helping. So the roses actually warmed her up, and she spent the night (it was Friday) bundled up in a blanket with a mug of hot chocolate, watching anime. Only later did she realised that the meaning of yellow rose is 'joy, friendship', and most important of all, 'get well soon'. Soon afterwards, on Fridays when Hyunwook wasn't home, she received rose she on her doorstep; each time a different colour. Touched, she decided to search for the person who gave her those, to no avail. Finally, one day, she finished class early, and met the boy who laid the bouquet in her doorstep..."Taemin?!"
It was her crush from dance class.
(Call me cliché but...yeahhhhhhhhh)

RELATIONSHIP — Basically, Taemin is the cool and confident guy who becomes a helpless romantic around her. The two are obviously in love, at least to everyone around them, because Suhyo being always independent, having someone to be able to depend on is like a burden off her shoulders. And so she constantly stuck to Taemin's side. Not that he hates it. In fact, he secretly loves it, and is quite possessive over his girlfriend, as shown from his pointed glares towards Hakyeon, one of her male friends.

The two constantly flirt with each other, antics such as teasing and casual skinship that make sure their friends annoyed, but hey, that's love for you. Rarely do they argue with each other about something serious, but when they do, it's not a pretty sight and requires Sofya's slapping of Suhyo out of her stubborn mindset.

They also like performing together onstage, once with the theme 'Roses', which obviously both of them were entangled with. And soooo, they decided to do a really romantic modern dance ending with Taemin putting a rose between his teeth (with its thorns removed, of course), and kissing the back of Suhyo's hand. The crowd erupted at the sight of that.

They make ideal dancing partners too, since their dancing styles are similar. Though Taemin likes to just sweep Suhyo off her feet every practice~

One last thing; since the two of them are shin, they understand each other's situation better than most. And thus, whenever Suhyo has nightmares breaking out, Taemin is always there to offer his warmth and his love for her. They believe that their love is strong and won't die even in times of obstacles (yes yes cliche), and with both of their passionate personalities, they are known to love hard and fierce. (okay sorry but there are just too many cliches here T T)

CONCLUSION — Please please please for God Almighty make them stay together because Suhyo won't be able to bear it if Taemin breaks up with her. She's too emotionally attached and dependent. You can write about them having some time apart or even Taemin throwing a fit with her and in the end they get back together (anything really, but keep in mind Suhyo's unstable powers), but pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee let them stay together at the end. <3
