168cm, 47kg, long wavy hair that is rarely tied up, and slight eyebags that would enhance her eyesmile. sharp and delicate features allowing her to take on y, cute and girly looks. mitsuko seems to be always smiling, exuding her charms with her eyesmile and soft gentle features

mitsuko isnt necessarily that tall but with her slim figure and legs longer in proportion to her body, mitsuko is titled to have a model figure. furthermore, since she’s a dancer, her legs are muscles are well toned and her waist insanely slim. 

the members are often jealous at how perfect mitsuko looks 24/7. many would assume that idols would look tired and puffy in the morning due to the little amount of sleep they get but mitsuko would always break the trend cause she constantly looks refreshed, despite her eyebags.

mitsuko is probably one of the least sociable person you know. she often runs off on her own and would choose to do things alone rather than in a group or with friends even. despite being more of the lone wolf, mitsuko is very loyal to her friends and would always stick by their side in times of need. she's patient and an amazing listening ear so her members would often look for her to talk about their problems and secrets because she's an amazing listener and is willing to provide solutions to a problem until they find the perfect one.

mitsuko having lived on her own for a long time has learned how to take care of herself . she cleans up after herself well and is often seen taking care of keep things in the dorm neat and tidy without anyone knowing. when she sees an empty cup lying around, she would just bring it into the sink waiting for the person in charge of doing dishes to wash it.

as someone who rarely expresses herself, dancing is an output for all her pent up emotions, she often spends her free time in the practice room dancing to her heart’s content. you can even spot her helping her members catch up with the dance moves they did not perfect during dance practice. mitsuko's sharp eye manages to pick out the littlest of details, making the dance look much more polished than it already was. those who approached her for help with dance definitely admires her skills and have learnt many tips and tricks from the dance master.

dancing since a young age, mitsuko takes dancing very seriously and would practice non-stop until she perfects the dance moves. mitsuko would always stay around the practice rooms late into the night to find ways to improve her skills, despite the members nagging at her to constantly take a break.

background. 

mitsuko’s life was full of moving around, her family has never really stayed in one place for long which explains mitsuko's distant nature. she could never keep friends for long as she never really had the chance to know someone for long. once she got comfortable with her new friend, her family would move to another country to seek a new place to stay. hence, mitsuko rarely socialize in her childhood and would focus on studying and other activities her parents signed her up for until she found her passion, performing. mitsuko has always been a filial and hardworking child, constantly receiving awards for achievements in school. her schedule as a child was always packed with extracurricular activities that would tire her out, but there was one extracurricular class that she would always look forward to: ballet class. mitsuko always found herself enjoying herself in ballet lessons and would progress quickly though the grades, attaining the grade 8 at the age of 14, mitsuko went on to pursue advanced ballet lessons, often being the star of the ballet symposiums her dance school put on.

dancing became a very important part of mitsuko’s life. after learning all that she could have learnt in ballet, mitsuko would rotate around other forms of dancing: hip-hop, contemporary, modern, but none of them held a bigger place in her heart as compared to ballet.

 all her life, mitsuko never had a true goal in her life. all she did was to follow her family around whenever they moved from one country to another, going with the course of life that fate provided her. when she got accepted into a ivy league university, columbia university, everyone around her was happy for her. but mitsuko didn't feel the same excitement her family members felt. that's when she thought she should accomplish something more in her life that would make her happy.

— the oshiro family :: hayato, tomiko, kinnosuke :: 58, 55, 18:: entrepreneurs, student :: happy go lucky, adventurous :: her parents, hayato (dad) and tomiko (mum) are probably the most child like parents you meet, they easily get bored of places and often think of new crazy projects they can embark on in different countries. however, despite being so spontaneous, the oshiro parents are successful in expanding various forms of businesses in different countries and inspiring for more entrepreneurs everywhere in the world. taking on from the family, kinnosuke (mitsuko's younger brother) is as happy go lucky as his parents and things rarely anger him. he isn't as smart as mitsuko but is equally hard working, making mitsuko proud of him despite not achieving as much as she did.

—the one she owes her current job to:: summer bailey fc: ailee :: 23 :: fresh graduate :: motherly, straight forward :: summer was mitsuko’s roommate when she was in columbia university. she was the first true friend in mitsuko’s eyes and she have seen mitsuko through her ups and downs while in university. she was always there to hear mitsuko’s complains about life or for mitsuko to show off how proud she was of kinnosuke. of course, she knew of mitsuko’s passion for dance very early on in their friendship. i mean mitsuko was always just dancing around the house without a care in the world, how does not one tell that she loves dancing? when news of jyp entertainment holding auditions in new york, summer instantly thought of mitsuko and convinced her to audition, claiming that her skills were “top tier” and that she should show those kpop entertainment companies some “real talent”. being swayed by summer’s convincing, mitsuko auditioned and got accepted into jyp.

—her guiding star:: twice’s mina :: 22 :: member of twice :: when mitsuko first entered jyp, she was extremely clueless, she had no clue as to how the entertainment industry in korea worked. it was her first time knowing of idols having to go through training periods before even becoming an idol and life was tough. having similar dance backgrounds, she was always grouped with mina where she often trained with her. mina and mitsuko also clicked along extremely well. having trained longer than mitsuko, mina would often help the clueless girl through the practices and language barrier. mina and mitsuko also constantly had to prepare for the regular evaluations together, where they could choreograph their own dance, most of the time it is some form of ballet or modern dance.

while she was studying in new york, jyp entertainment, a well known entertainment company held auditions in new york. her roommate summer managed to convince her to audition where she got accepted and flew to korea on her own to venture into her dream of performing. well as much as mitsuko loved performing, being a trainee was tough with no future of debuting seen. they had a daily routine of dance and vocal practices and language classes for the foreigners but there was never a news of when the trainees could ever step on a stage.

the closest mitsuko got to debuting was when she acted (more like a cameo) in got7’s web drama and a few other smaller web dramas that jyp produced. she received many praise for her acting and was told that she should become an actress instead, of course mitsuko did not buy into any of it because she loved dancing and she is not willing to let go of it so easily.

mitsuko would work hard with mina to put up the best dance performance they could, but the judges were never impressed despite the other trainees saying that it was the best performance they’ve ever seen. this really discouraged mitsuko and made her angry with jyp. she felt like she did not have a say in everything she did and all she had to do was to follow orders (which was something she hated). mitsuko wanted more freedom to express herself with her performance, an opportunity that jyp never provided for her. that's when she realized that she enrolled in one of the companies that gives the worse treatment towards trainees: overworked and under slept. mitsuko felt that things weren't right and left the company after one and a half years.

mitsuko found milky way entertainment with the help of summer (yes mitsuko updates everything in her life to summer still, after all mitsuko kinda owes this journey to her). summer said there was a relatively new company that is currently looking for trainees and with mitsuko’s talent and experience with a major company, there would be a high chance of her getting in. (summer probably found all of these information through jaeyoung’s youtube or something) mitsuko managed to get the relevant information from summer and started off her journey with milky way starting with an audition.

"you know the drill," jaeyoung yawns, getting bored of the routine already, "i'll flash cue cards and you answer the questions— actually it would be even better if you can strip off and entertain me,"

please introduce yourself. i'm 21 year old mitsuko who is japanese but has never actually stayed in japan

how does it feel to finally debut/debut again? it is the only thing that i imagine myself doing in the future so im glad that i finally have the opportunity to accomplish my dreams

how does it feel debuting in a co-ed group? do you get along with the opposite members? co-ed or not, it doesnt matter to me, im grateful for just having the chance to perform. i never classified people by their gender so i guess i do get along with them pretty well

what inspired you to be an idol, and do you have anyone you look up to? i find joy in performing as i feel that i am able to be myself when im dancing, i would say that i look up to jessi for being herself without caring about what others things, i wish i can be as open as her about my feelings despite being a public figure. i also admire a lot of other performers who are able to express their emotions with their music, its something that i want to be able to achieve as well 

are there any special moments during your trainee days that you would like to share with us? whenever a new trainee join us, they would often struggle with the choreography and some would get annoyed at them for providing more stress whenever the evaluations are coming up, but i taught them the choreography one to one and watching them grow really makes me proud of all of us being able to come all the way to this point

what is your role in the group? i would say that im the group's listening ear, all the members tend to share their feelings with me and mediator, i always see myself patching up conflicts between members

what would you like to achieve in the future with the group? i wish to go as far as we can go

is there anything you would like to do with the group other than your usual schedule? i would like to travel the world with them, despite already being to many countries with my family, travelling with my members would be a new experience

if you could join one program in the near future, what would it be? dancing with the stars/ hit the stage

do you have any last words? i'm glad to be living my dream, i never felt so fulfilled
