Hi everyone!

I was hoping to be able to drop a bunch of surprises for my writing anniversary, but I'm 1) burnt out from fest writing, 2) sick, and 3) super busy with real life stuff. So, sadly, I don't come bearing gifts for today. I'm trying to finish the next chapter of Glucose Guardians, but I doubt it'll be up tonight, because I've already taken my meds, and I might just pass out after this note.

Thank you to everyone who's read and commented and followed along and supported me this past year. It's been an absolutely surreal experience, and I've met the most incredible, caring, wonderful people. And it started with the very first commenters, who somehow stumbled upon the first chapters of Pay Me Some Mind (before it was even CALLED PMSM?? I don't even remember the original test title I gave it, other than it was really bad) right after I posted, and were so supportive on something I thought no one would ever see, and pushed me into not only finishing it, but continuing with so many other fics.

I feel like I've grown a lot the past year. I'd like to think I've improved my writing. I've definitely learned how to plot a little more, how to build worlds and flesh things out a little better. I joined a TON of fests, which in retrospect, was not the brightest idea, but through it I learned a lot of new things and tried a lot of new genres as well.

Anyway, I had a ton of plans for today, but I think instead of just seeing a bunch of stats and promises, I'll just do a quick list for reference later.

This totals 368k words in 365 days, meaning I've been somehow averaging more than 1k written per day, which is kind of funny, because I have had such writer's block lately, it doesn't seem like I've written anything. But anyway! I have a lot of stuff planned. I remember the things I promised last time. Those are still WIPs and hopefully, I'll be able to blow through them once I get my mojo back.

In the mean time, Glucose Guardian will be updated VERY soon. The chapter is almost all written, but I need to go back and smooth some of it out so it's not so messy. I am currently in Gods & Monsters Mythology Fest and Kaisoommer, if you guys want to try and spot me on there. The Guess Whos for them should be very soon. I wrote pretty fun fics for both.
