Ardyn has always been a selfless person, putting other peoples needs before him. He chooses to help other people first before helping himself. Due to the incident that occured in his past, he lived alone and started to become independent. He can manage everything he does by himself but isn't afraid to ask for help if needed. He is a polite young man just like his older brother. Although due to the negative traits he has these traits dont seem to be seen by others.

Ardyn is an introvert meaning he does not interact much with other people he doesn't know well enough, he is willing to know more about the people around him. Due to him being an introvert, most of his classmates think of him as a weirdo and usually just stay away from him. He can also be stubborn at times which annoyed his older brother when they were younger.
background;
ardyn was born into a family of huntees, his mom, dad, uncle aunt, basically any relative who was old enough was 100% a hunter. His brother minkyu started training at the age of 8 while he started training with his mom using magic at the age of 6. Throughout the family line only ardyn has the ability to manipulate black lightning. It is unknown as to why he has a different type of magic from his family members but nevertheless he was still treated the same. Ardyn then started training with his father when he turned 8 years old. His dad taught him and his brother how to physically take down different creatures that existed. While his mom taught both ardyn and his brother minkyu how to use their magic. Due to ardyn possessing a form of black magic, his mom dug up some old book that contains knowledge about dark arts which ardyn could use.
Ardyn was the only one who was taught dark arts since he had that type of magic. One day he was with his mom at home learning how to summon beings using magic. He had to draw some sort of pentagram and recite a set of words in latin to summon. This was the cause of the disaster that happened in their household. Ardyn recited the wrong spell and summoned a powerful demon instead of a simple familiar. His parents were dealing with the demon while ardyn called his uncle woojin to inform him about the demon. After putting down the phone, his mom told him to run away and that they would take care of the demon. Ardyn did as he was told and ran as far away as he can. He went to the top of a hill where he could see their house. He saw his brother minkyu being carried outside by their uncle woojin and then seeing their house blow up in flames.
This was all too much for an 8 year old to take in. He didn't want to show his face to minkyy or his uncle woojin because he knew that all of that was his fault. He ran as far away from them as possible. He stopped where his feet dropped. He was cold and hungry. He wasn't taken in by anyone. He managed to find a place that would allow him to work at. He slept at benches and went to public baths in order to survive. He grew up working multiple jobs and at the same time training himself for hunting. He moved into his own small apartment when he finally had enough money when he was 17 years old. He enrolled at a school that jisoo is also in. He manages to pay for everything because he works multiple jobs. Now that he has a stable situation, he lives independently and trains himself for hunting.

Older brother|byun minkyu|23|this is ardyns older brother who he spent a lot of time with when they were still together. They were trained together by both parents and they sometimes even spar against each other.they havent seen each other ever since the incident.
byun woojin|byun woojin|43| he has seen his uncle woojin before in numerous family outings and get togethers. He knows that his uncle woojin is one of the best hunters in the family. The last time he saw his uncle was when he was carrying his older brother out of their home.
classmate|song jisoo|18|he doesn't have many interactions with jisoo due to her being quiet like him. Some occasional hi and hello would be the only exchange of words they have aside from everytime jisoo would be clumsy and trip infront of ardyn.
