APPEARANCE : Hyungwon is 174cm tall and weighs about 58kg. He has brown
bear ears on top of his head and also a brown
bear tail. The fur is extremely fluffy and soft. His ears twitch/react when people touch then and so does his tail. When he changes into his bear form, he goes down on all fours and turns into a bear. His height when standing up is about 9ft tall. His eye colour is still brown. He has a wet nose which helps his sense of smell. He has a white collar of fur around his neck a.k.a the fluffiest part. His teeth become dull and his hands are now paws which size up to 24 inches and have razor sharp claws that can cut through flesh easily. He usually walks on all fours when he is in this form.

Hyungwon the intelligent general is here. Yep, Intelligence is just one of the things that made Hyungwon a general. He has a lot of witty strategies and tactics that he has demonstrated in front of others. His plans are almost always have a 100% chance of working. It's scary to think that he has planned out so many ways the war could go and many ways to counter the humans but a plan is a plan. This bear is strong not because he is a part bear but strong emotionally. It takes a lot to break him down. He is able to withstand all the criticism with just a stoic expression resting on his face, he understands that most of these are to help him grow from his mistakes. Harsh words don't get to him but they sure as hell annoy him. He grew up with knowing almost all the etiquette. Formal greetings are always there, he never actually speaks casually to anybody even if requested. He simply can't bring himself to talk all casual to someone even if they aren't of high ranking. This emotionless general does have a soul. Hyungwon may not show it, but he actually cares for the people around him. He won't look concerned but he is and would do small things to help you out. Hyungwon is loyal to the Empire, he will continue to support them even if it looks like they were losing the war. He has proven his loyalty by doing as much as he can to help out the army that they have which is continously growing. He would visit the academy and teach those who were still in training when he has time.
Hyungwon doesn't look all that approachable with that stoic expression on his face 24/7. People usually avoid him and are afraid of him because of this. To be honest, he looks like he is about to murder someone when he isn't smiling. He became distant to most people because of this and usually only talks to he needs to talk to. So the people he usually talks to are those other soldiers under his command/squad, other generals, Aixiang, Daijun, and August. Of course there are more but we won't get into that for now. Now for those soldiers under his command, they know how strict this guy is. If he wants you to deliver something to him on time, you have to do it on time cause if you don't, you might get a little taste of hell. Most of his soldiers are annoyed with him since he doesn't know how to loosen up. He likes doing things by the book, if he sees you not wearing your uniform correctly, he'll scold you and lecture you about it. He is quite conceited as well. Like his quote states, doing things his way always works. He want's people to do it his way because he believes that it is the most efficient way. He is quite proud of himself which made him develop an egoistical personality. "My way is the right way.", "You're not Jesus you little .". Ok i'll be real here, this guy might have no idea what an emotion is, Nah I'm just kidding. He just doesn't express them well on his face. He is like a robot who can't make any facial expressions except angry and dissapointment. Those who have seen him smile are the ones who were blessed with that moment.

Hyungwon's father Hyunseok is retired general. He was the one of the best out there, always praised for not only his strategic mind but also his bravery to step on the battlefield when people told him not to. He had been bragging about this to his son all the time. Hyungwon listened to all the stories his father told him while his mother tried making them sound more realistic and less exagerated. But it was true, his father was one of the great generals that lead the army. Hyunseok wanted his son to be like him in the future and immediately sent him to the academy at a young age. His father was really strict, when Hyungwon was failing a class, he would discipline his son and scold him. He even told him that he couldn't come back home unless he became a general. As a kid, it really hurt him. His father practically disowned him by kicking him out. He lived with his aunt who took him in after learning what his father did. Minji, Hyungwon's mother, ocassionally visits his son at his aunts place to see how he is doing. She usually gives an excuse for her to leave the house so that her husband didn't know that she was going to see Hyungwon. She was just as shocked as Hyungwon when Hyunseok kicked him out. She never agreed to it and even argued with her husband that he was being too harsh on a child and said that she would do everything she can so that he can live with them again. Hyungwon told her that she shouldn't worry. He will become a general like his father. Hyungwon requested that his mother send a message to his father when she goes back to their home. "I'll become a general. The best one there is. People will know my name and forget about yours. I will be the greatest general that ever lived, a hundred times better than you.". Minji and his aunt were quite surprised by Hyungwon since he was just 12 at the time he asked his mother to relay that message to his father. She asked if he was sure about it, he nodded in response.
After that day, nothing was on Hyungwon's mind but "train and be better". His aunt was getting worried that he would overwork himself but he always reassured her that he was fine and that he was getting better everyday. At the academy, he was mostly known for hand-to-hand combat. He will have you pinned so fast you wouldn't even realize it. His greatest time was 30 seconds. Some of the students were kinda afraid of him since he had this very cold aura radiating from him. He didn't mind them since they weren't that important at that time. There were those students who managed to stalemate him in a fight. He admired those students who were able to keep up with him. When a stalemate happens, he would always tell them that he was holding back (cocky son of a ). He also showed prowess in strategy. He was known as "The Devil's Tactician" since his plans were always without fail or any loop hole. Years passed and he finally graduated from the academy. His mom and aunt were there at the ceremony snapping a lot of pictures, being the proud moms they are. He finally reached his goal and became one of the generals with all the hardwork paying off. Now all he needs to do is become the greatest one that ever lived. He didn't go back to his home even when his mom and aunt tried to convince him. He didn't want to face his father until he finally lived up to what he said. He still lives with his aunt and helps her pay with the bills since he has a job now.
The day came when he was introduced to the squad he was in control of as well as his Aide-de-camp(which is an assistant of a general or high ranking person). At first glance, he knew that these soldiers were determined but oh was that first glance wrong. One of his soldiers always disobeys his orders and runs out on the battlefield, one soldier is super talkative and immature, and the other one rarely shows up to meetings. He became really strict that it scared most of the soldiers under his comman. Luckily his assistant Eunseo was there. She had the bright personality and was much more loose than he was. She was the angel of the group that kept the other soldiers from leaving or transferring to another squad. The academy was quite aware of Hyungwon's personaltiy and chose Eunseo as the Aide-de-camp for this specific reason. Now he has a lot to learn about being the "best". First, he has to start with his attitude towards his team, cause with that attitude, you know that someone is bound to quit from the squad.

Kim Minji and Kim Hyunseok|Human-bear hybrid and Demon| His mom is the caring one who actually cares about his son's existence while his father is this strcit mofo who just loves bragging about how he was the best. Now that Hyungwon is a general he vowed to be better than his father to the point that everyone would forget his fathers name and only know his. As you can tell, he is more close to his mom, he cares for her and often talks to her about his day. On the other hand, he absolutely despises his father, he doesn't speak to him nor does he visit him.
Nam Daijun and Nam Aixian|Reaper|As a general, he normally has meetings with them and other generals to discuss about current issues and how to solve them. They both have seen Hyungwon as the one who would present his ideas first and they also see how detailed and well thought of his plans are. He has become a trusted ally to both of them and they could rely on him for things like this.
Kang Rowoon|Rabbit-fox Hybrid|As talkative and annoying this one is. Hyungwon cannot deny his skill and abilities. He can rely on Rowoon for any task. Rowoon is always the one who gets to the meetings first. Rowoon is also a person Hyungwon can go to when he has problems since he is a good listener and would sometimes provide helpful advice.
Jeon Misun|Demon|Misun has the luck of ending up in Hyungwon's squad. Hyungwon sees her as the rebellious type since she always does things on her own and doesn't even listen to the plans that he has. Again he cannot deny how strong she is and her skill in fighting especially since he has seen the video of her beating up some men in a bar. He usually scolds her for doing things on her own.

Eunseo is known for having a very appealling and approachable look. She is loved by almost everyone not only because of her looks but also because of her kind and loving personality. She's been helping old ladies ever since she learned how to talk and walk properly. She is very confident in her capabilities, that is why she is confident that she would be able to do good as the Aide-de-camp in Hyungwon's squad. She is always there for the soldiers who can never get used to Hyungwon's strict and bossy personality. She does her best to help Hyungwon change that part of him since it isn't developing a healthy relationship with him and his soldiers. She finds it relatively easy to make friends. Eunseo is the first to step up to you and introduce herself then what comes next is how she would continue the conversation. Of course this "golden girl" has her flaws aswell. She can be quite mischievious from time to time. She has pulled pranks on soldiers and even one on Hyungwon just to see his reaction, of course she never told him that she did that(a bucket of water fell on him when he opened the door). You cannot depend on this girl, I repeat, You cannot depend on this girl. Secrets are never safe with her since she tends to tell someone else. Official orders are the only things you can rely on her but things like secrets and "can you do this for me?", nahh you can't ask her to do that cause it won't happen. When things get boring and she is still waiting, she gets really impatient. Meetings don't start unless everyone available is there, Sometimes people don't text saying that they were unavailable for the meeting which leaves them just sitting there waiting for the person that is never gonna come. "CAN'T WE JUST START? I'M DYING OVER HERE!". She loves the sarcastic comments she makes cause it usually gets a few laughs out of her peers. Never say anything stupid unless you wanna get a sarcastic comment from her. "Oh yeah, that's totally a great plan ten out of ten."
how we met
They met the day that Hyungwon was introduced to the squad that was under his command. She was there as the Aide-de-camp which means assistant. She was informed about his personality and how people knew that other soldiers wouldn't be able to stand his strictness and egoistical nature, so they chose her to help make sure the group doesn't fall apart. So far, she made a good impression on him. She follows him around and even listens on in during meetings with other generals and high ranking officials. Eunseo has also witnessed how egoistical and strict he can actually be. Like damn, tone it down a bit. Eunseo has been keeping the team together by talking to the soldiers and telling them that he just acts that way and they should try to get used to it. Her friendly nature and words always make them stay. She needed to step up her game so that this team doesn't fall apart for good. Eunseo confronted Hyungwon about his personaltiy and how it's affecting the team. "If they wanna leave, then they should leave. I don't accept people who can't handle my rules." Eunseo could not believe that that was his response. She's doing everything she can so that he could finally understand that he needs these people and he can just disregard them. She gives him constant reminders everytime his ego shows up. Even during the meetings, she isn't afraid to call him out when he becomes too strict for the soldiers to handle.
Hyungwon actually has no idea why the academy would think he needed an assistant. He knew he could handle everything on his own and that he didn't need her at all. She was just their to "correct" and/or "oppose" to the orders he gives cause she thinks its too strict. He doesn't realize that she is the only reason his soldiers put up with him. One day, he was tasked by Daijun himself to prepare a new strategic defense against the humans and to present it in the next few days. This was the time when Hyungwon experienced "Tactician's block." Yes, if writers experience "Writer's block." then tactician's can experience "Tactician's block.". This is where he can't think of any ideas for a new defense strategy. He spent 2 days in his room trying to come up with one. His teammates were concerned that he didn't show up to a meeting he scheduled. Eunseo told them to go back to their stations and wait for further announcements, she said she would be the one to check up on him. Once she reached his room, there were crumpled papers all over the floor. She saw how many of the plans he has done but were incomplete. Eunseo found him in the corner of his room with his face buried in his knees. "Are you alright?", She got closer and he lifted up his head. His eyes were all puffy and red from crying. This was the first time she'd seen him cry. "Yeah, I'm fine.", Eunseo could clearly see that he wasn't. "No, you're not ok. Come on get up.". He got up and explained to her what all the drawings were. "Why didn't you ask for help then? You know some of those kids are actually good tacticians too you know.". She told him that he can't do everything by himself. He needs to ask for help when he needs it. A general is nothing without his soldiers to fight for him. Eunseo's words finally get to him and some tears escape from his eyes. She wipes them away and wraps her arms around him in an attempt to comfort him. This is when Hyungwon started having feelings for her but lo and behold, this guy has no idea what love actually is. So whenever his heart beats fast when she right beside him, when he sees her, when her hands brush against his by accident, and any other thing that makes his heart beat fast, he would have no idea why it happened but he was sure that she was the one causing it.

"Yes" he says as he grabs her hand and places it over his heart.
"This happens whenever I am with you and I don't know why or how. is your power perhaps accelarating peoples heartbeats?"
Eunseo couldn't help but smile which causes his heart to beat even faster.
"No don't do that!"
