What would be your preferred reviewing style?

So I've just been experimenting with reviewing formats lately, because I realise my ideas can get super messy if they're not well-organised. And these are the two styles I get:

Informal - https://www.asianfanfics.com/story/view/1249552/81/
Formal - https://www.asianfanfics.com/story/view/1249552/82/

(Credits to the respective authors for letting me review their story hehe)

If you are a writer wanting a review for your story, which reviewing style would you prefer and why? I just want to gain more feedback and ideas on how to improve my current review rubric structure~

The informal one is A+ by a long shot. As an experienced writer, its far better to know the story's impact to the reader/reviewer than to receive a scorecard of + and -. I think the scorecard/formal is not really a reader review but an editor/beta review for a beginner who doesn't know these basics, or someone who needs a beta or outside help to improve their writing. Whereas an experienced storyteller wants to know how the story performed. Very big difference IMO!

Also I'm laughing, I saw this ad by stellar somewhere and i was like wtf this ad is decent so I followed around and looked at the ad shop and then saw it was closed and clicked to the personal/main acc link and IT WAS YOU XDDDD I didn't even realize. omg. I hate ads on AFF so I'm gonna pretend i don't know that JK but at least you write the best ads I've seen on here in five years XD and the way you ran that shop was A+ I was so impressed reading the whole setup and packages and stuff.

Personally I like both of them. The informal goes into depth but the formal points out the good and bad points, which I don't see a lot of reviewers do.. As a reviewer myself, sometimes I feel we forget to point out what aspects are working and what aren't. However, the formal does look a bit messy xD Maybe you can find a way to combine the two?

even though i love both of your styles but i prefer the informal one. I'm a truly beginner when it comes to write a story as you know, then the first thing i want to achieve after being reviewed by you is that i can let the readers feel the tension, atmosphere and whatever the emotions i tried to put into the story. I would like to see it as a personal, whether it's enjoyable or not and whether you can feel the emotions or not. f ighting

I love your informal one more for the inexperienced, novice typewriters and of course people like me who don't think of themselves as a writer at all but more of a good story teller. The informal style still gets your point across for many who may not be savvy writers like myself and yet it helps them see the need to improve their skills. The formal one I feel is more for the experienced and skilled writers. Or serious writers here on AFF they would probably prefer the formal one, as they should. But keep up the good work. ^^

I like the informal one as well. The formal one becomes too ... unpersonal, idk. I don't like it.

I like personally informal more (if it's the one without hyphens, my computer messed up and I dunno which one it was)
