appearance. Ara currently has light ash brown hair and it is all the way down to her belly button. She has naturally straight hair however, she prefers a bit of wave. Ara would be those girl that have a natural resting face. even though she has double eyelid, the shape of her eyes makes it look like she constantly mad. she tried to make herself look softer by drawing in straight and soft eyebrows. She has two lobe pericing on her left ear and one lobe and one cartiliage pericing on her right ear. she also has a beauty mark on the left side of her left eye. on a daily basis, she would wear light make with minimal contouring with a bright orange-red lip tint. On day when she feels more excited and really feeling her own skin, she would go full on heavy makeup and if it  turns out well, nothing can ruin her mood at all. she has pale milky skin and does not like the look on tanned skin on herself. 

fashion sense. for ara, clothings got to be both fashionable and comfy. with that said, she dressed more on the casual side but still very on trend. the color scheme on her wardorbes tends to lean toward dark colors and she only wears gold jeweleries. she loves to wear all kind of shoes except high heels and loves cardigans and jackets. how she decide what to wear it by the makeup she has on that day. when she looks soft and girly, she wouldn't mind throwing on her very limited colorful clothings. but if she is feeling edgy and chic with her makeup that day, she would very full on dark outfit with a leather jacket and a pair of sun glasses. ala in all, she just likes to stay on trend as much as possible.
if she every goes to a formal setting, she would wear either netural colors or dark florals. if she is also placed in the situation of having to wear heels, she would rather wear block heels as they are much mre comfortable.

whenever ara is around others and her friends, she is very easy going and she is very relaxed despite her resting face. she really does not care if younger people treat her like a same-age friend and let a lot of rudeness slide. she aslo love caring for people and would often ask them if they are alright and check up on their lives even if they are not close. however, if she could pick, she rather care for cats than human overall. ara is also very observant of those around her. from their body language, to their tone of voice, to their facial expression, ara notice them all. if someone isn't acting like themselves, ara would notice immediately and she would ask them if they want to talk about it or not. in addition, ara is also  good at detecting if someone is lying or not therefore, no lie can go pass her at all.ara is also very loyal to her friends, she will never backstab them or talk behind their back. if she truly see you as a friend, she will not do anything that will cost her relationship with her.

Once ara has set a goal for herself, she will be determined to fulfill it and no one can talk her out of it at all. she is very critical of herself that she ask for absolut perfection when she fufill her goal. although she is always with the girls, ara is never dependent on them. instead, she is very independent and does not need others to fulfill a task at all. when one really get to know ara, she will begin to talk about her plans for  her future family and how she will meet her husband and how they will date and what their wedding will be like. she is a hopeless romantic and loves to create stories about her life that has not yet happened yet. she also likes to check out cute boys around town and just place them into her stories which makes her flutter and squeal even in public.

even though ara is not really talkative or quiet, from the words she say, her action, and her appearance, she gives off a confindent and courageous vibe which sometimes attracts others to her and sometimes don't. however, this image slowly fabes away when she start to show her caring side for you and she became just a tad softer than her original image. for ara, she could talk to a lot of different people and is not shy or quiet at all. however, she is very reserved therefore, her close friends are only a few and she likes to keep it that way because too much relationship makes her feel like her life is too messy. along with this, she makes it quite difficult for others to get to know her. for example, her past boyfriend never really knew her and felt like she never trust him therefore he broke up with her.

ara also hates being the one to make decisions. wether it is a simple one such as where to eat or go all the way to who is right or wrong, ara finds it difficult to pick a side because she sees from all angle. when she know that the group are about to make a decision, she would either run away or hide quietly until the decision is made. ara is very easy going with others however, she is very self-critical which in her situation, becomes a really bad thing. she often seeks perfection and would not care to over work herself. in addition, if she is involved in a argument and she also made a decision in that argument, she will blame herself heavily if the problem goes bad because she sees herself as the one who ruined it all. being very easy going, ara doesn't mind to let a few things slide but once she reach her limit, she isn't afraid to cut all ties with that person and she will not come back nor will she  feel bad about. thus, when her ex broke up with her, she only cried for two days and she was alright because he had gone pass that limit. Being very observant, ara likes to use the information she has to meet her goals.



background. 
everything ara believes in about love comes from the story of how her parents met. her mother was studying abroad in japan during her university years. one day her friend took her to a underground concert and that was where she met her future husband and ara's dad. he  was the drummer on the band and since the friend knew them, he was introduced to her. like how her father describe their first meeting "it was like we knew each other for a long time". soon after, the two started dating and after ara's mother finished university, the two got married at his hometown, kyoto. soon after the wedding, ara's mother became bregnant with her older brother and after five years, ara was born in kyoto as well. 

ara was born on a nice spring day where the cherry blossoms are starting to bloom. at first, her parents wanted to name her "sakura" yet, they still ended up picking ara which means beautiful and elegant. after her birth, the family left kyoto when she was five due to her father's job transferring them to korea. ara knew how to speak korean because of her mother and because of this, she did not have trouble communicating with others. however, young ara was actually quite shy and she found it hard to make friends on her first day of school. while she was sad  and alone, nana came into her life and became her first friend. because of nana, ara was able to meet the rest of the girls and became great friends with them.

the girls was also the reason why ara fell in love with reading fantasy novels, especially harry potter. the six of them would read the book together and constantly talk about the book during their break. when ara was small, most of the girl predicted that she is a hufflepuff just because she was a bit shy and quiet back then, however, when she grew up, all of them agree that she is indeed a slytherin.

growing up in a bilangual family, ara knew how to speak both japanese and korean from a young age and she was introduced to english, she found it easier than other students. she found most subject easy except for math and apart form language, she also loves music class. as a habit, ara would often pop into songs anywhere and she has to mentally relize that she is singing or else she would not stop. as she got to higher grade, she was able to select another language and she chose sign language because she feels like no one really know it.

when ara was little, she is very conservative and feels uncomfortable to show any skin. however, her love for fashion grew because of her brother. being five years older, he has develope more likes than her and one of them was fashion. from the way he dress to the things he buys, it was always on trend. since the two are close, when ara finally wanted to dress nicely, she went to her brother for fashion advies. even now she still goes to him and the two would often take photos of their outfit together and post them of instagram. she also started putting on makeup the summer before high school started and since then, her makeup collection grew at a rapid pace.

when ara was in grade five, her dad surprised her with a kitten as her birthday present. ever since she was little ara had always been afraid of dogs and always loved cats because of how fluffy and elegant they were unlike the playful and instense dogs. she named the cat snowball and he is still living with her today along with her four other cats which she adopted over the years.

until now ara only had one past relationship and it happened during her first year of high school. the man was a senior form the same school and he started gaining interest in ara after seeing her in music class. He was very brave and went to talk to ara first. at first, ara knew what he was trying to do and avoided him yet, she still look for him due to her romantic side. when she was wondering when he will show up again, she found a letter in her locker from the senior asking her to meet after school that day. after conculting her friends, she decided to go. since she doesn't really know him nor does she hate him, she said yes to his confession and the two started dating.

however, as the relationship continued, the guy started feeling as if ara did not care about him because of her lack of physical affection for him. however, ara is just reserved and she also does not know how to act in a relationship. after he was pushed to the edge, he broke up with her. not knowing what to do, ara locked herself in her room for two days and she was always quiet. yet, after sorting out her feelings, she got back up and promised herself that she will only date again only if she knew the guy well and vice versa and the guy has to make her feel like "the knew each other for a long time".

when you first meet jaebum, he is very quiet and will not initiate conversations at all. he only cares about what he has to do and he will ignore those who are irrelevant to his life and work. he is very logical and does not understand when people daydream or make up excuses to twist themselves out of a situation. however, when you do know him better and he acknowledge your exsitence, he will tease you by making fun of you. sometimes he might even scare you if you are those peole that get scared easily. jaebum is also very straight-forward and he is not afraid to hurt someone or even break ties with them. if he needs to say it because it is right, then he will do it. 

jaebum is also very protective of all those he loves such as his sister, friend and girlfriend. he will get really angry when someone insult or hurt them and won't be afraid to get physical. in a love relationship, jaebum is also the jealous type. even though he can't help it, he still get jealous even if a guy is talking to his girlfriend. jaebum is also very passionate about what he loves such as music. he will not sleep for days if he has a inspiration and would be constantly playing in his band even during eam season. 

love story. 
after they graduated form high school, the girls were planning what to do during the summer other than looking for love, her brother suggested if they would like to go to a music festival because his friend's band is playing. therefore the girls all went to the festival. when the band got on, ara noticed the bass player straight away and was captured by him. he made ara feel like "they knew each other for a long time". her brother tookt hem back stage to meet the band members. they all introduced each other but the bass player left already to ara's dissappointment. when they went home, her brother revealed that the leader of the band is actually his new boyfriend and he wanted to introduce him to ara. being too happy for her brother, she completely forgot about the bass player.

as time goes by, ara is still single and her brother ask her and her friends if they would like to go see the band practice and grab lunch afterward. ara quickly agreed and she started stressing out about going to the practice. when they arrived at the univeristy where the band was practicing, ara realized that it was the same univeristy she will be attending in the fall. they went to the practice room and ara finally saw the bass player again. because she told her brother about the bass player, her brother told his bf to introduce the two. 

after finding out his name was jaebum, ara took out all of her courage that day to talk to him and really just get to know him. however, by the end of the practice, another girl came and she was his long-term girlfriend. discouraged, ara gave up pursuing him (for now) and would rather just stay as friends. over the summer, the two got really close and ara's feeling kept on growing for him yet, she knew he has a girlfriend that's why she never said anything. on several occasion, jaebum would ask ara to hang out and she would always go to their practice with her brother. 

near the end of summer, ara's feeling consumed her and she decided to confess. however, she didn't confess to get somewhere with him but she did it to be released. when she finally told him, she didn't even wait for his reply and left. after first year of university started, the two met again and this time, jaebum becomes the one to pursue her even though ara's feeling for him "died off" 

relationship. 
when the two are together, many would think they are a new couple but in reality, they were just close for some reason. being the daydreaming type, ara would constantly go into her little world and jaebum would constantly ask her why she does that. when jaebum found out that ara is a scardey cat and hates horror movies, he would scare him when he sees a chance to. he isn't really slef-aware when he is with her and would do things that make her heart flutter without realizing it. he likes to be straight-forward with her because he knew she would overreact when he burst her imaginative bubble.

on a deeper level, ara know what jaebum likes and doesn't like even things his girlfirend doesn't know. she would always help his do something even before him asking or doing it himself. however, he never find anything special about it and just say a simple "thanks". when his girlfriend is around, he suddenly treats ara like a stranger which she understands because according to jaebum, his girlfriend gets jealous way easier than he does. when his girlfriend is around, ara becomes quiet because she is hurting on the inside.
