— LEE JIHYE.
RACE — Werewolf
CLASS — Monk
OCCUPATION — Monk teacher at Monastery
STATS
STR — 24
DEX — 20
CON — 23
INT — 14
WIS — 25
CHA — 11
FACE CLAIM — Jung Hyun Joo (Link to gallery) // Lee Eunji (Link to gallery)
APPEARANCE — She wears gray contact lenses, which hides her natural amber colored wolf eyes. Short brown hair in her normal form, and ragged longer hair that flies everywhere once she transforms into a werewolf. Wears a red tunic with black harem pants. Basically this Tenten's outfit but in red and black. While in her normal form, she uses simply her fists as weapons, but yields brass knuckles while engaged in combat. As a werewolf, she grows claws, enlarges in size, and has sharp teeth. She keeps a knife hidden outfit if she runs out of her energy (She uses martial arts and channels energy to different parts of the body) (No it's not magic, it's possible in real life too :D)
PERSONALITY —
♚ Secluded, stubborn, maverick, prideful, difficult to understand, resentful
PERSONALITY — Lee Jihye is not naïve. She's a down to earth person, but she's not an idiot. She plans out her each and every action, learning from elvish ways. She thought through strategies, trying to pick and find one that would be the most efficient and ethical while in combat. She doesn't like seeing people get unnecesarily hurt, regardless of race. What was important was winning, not the thrill of killing. As a monk, she would want the least painful death for any opponent, or even while searching for food. She had a forgiving nature to her as well; she lets people have second chances and chances to redeem themselves in most situations. She doesn't tend to get attached to anyone in particular, as she doesn't want to be hurt in the future if anything happens. She is not peaceful; she simply wants to avoid unnecesary deaths. She doesn't think we can all live in harmony happily together, but rather in a LESS sadistic way than right now.
Though her ways may be correct in her eyes, the werewolves have different ways of approaching things. She's extremely stubborn with them, and is always trying to force her ideas onto them. As a maverick, she doesn't follow instructions well, and thinks very highly of her own methods of fighting and ruling. Anytime the werewolves suggest an idea, her signature line is "Hmm, I have a better idea." She also triggers peoples anger quite easily, with her smart mouth and intellect. Her kind yet stubborn behaviors make her quite hard to understand, as she becomes sarcastic throughout the process of having a conversation. She also believes in revenge; if she watches a friend getting hurt, either mentally or physically, her mind is empowered, and rather than getting discouraged, she becomes enraged, similar to the werewolves. In battle she is mainly in her normal form, but once her levels of rage pass her patience, she will full on attack in werewolf form. Once she does become an werewolf, it's difficult to calm her down (This is while she's angry, she can still be a werewolf and stay calm if she's not in battle).
TRIVIA —
- - She enjoys nature, meditation, and the simple things in life
- - Ice cream and potatoes taste pretty good
- - She really hates wendigos; usually if she's angry or in her werewolf form, it's because of them
- - She loves her elf family, but not their ways of ruling
- - Although she doesn't seem like it, she does believe her werewolf race is the most superior
- - Bunnies are her best friends
- - She possesses more intelligence and wisdom than her werewolf friends, who are rash
- - She sometimes accidentally triggers people easily by taunting them, which just turns them against her, smh Jihye -_-
FAMILY — Her and her parents were travelling down a river in a forest when the boat crashed due to strong currents, and only the child, Jihye survived. After roaming for a few days through the forest, she discovered a monastery, ruled by the elves. The head elf, being the most calm and wise of them all, took her in and trained her, and she worked hard, eventually becoming a teacher. She was like their child, they wouldn't treat her poorly just because of her race. Jihye grew up with great respect for her elvish friends, but through observation, she realized many of their ways of approaching things were not correct. She respected the elves as family, but not as potential rulers. Although she is a monk, it doesn't mean she is peaceful. She believes in peace through force, which it what sets her apart from the elves. She is still a werewolf at heart.
FRIENDS — Lee Sungjong, was a fellow werewolf that found Jihye in the monastery, and warned her about the elves. Jihye didn't want to hear it, and ignored his advice. They weren't the closest of friends, but Sungjong would come visit at times and they would chat and eat together. She was originally a full out elf like girl, but after meeting Sungjong, she understood the power of strength and how it would be beneficial to lead the throne in the future. This made her embody more of her werewolf capabilities. She'd then spend time in the evenings, training with him and increasing her strength with his help. Nearing the war times, he realized that having Jihye participate in the war would be greatly beneficial to the werewolves, as she could guide them with her intellect and problem solving skills she learned through her practices in the monastery. He and a few others asked her to join the werewolf pack in the war, and she agreed (which I will explain later). I'll pick more friends maybe once more OC's are made.
ENEMIES — She doesn't tend to either hate nor like a person. However, she does hold some sort of grudge against the Wendigos and their cannaballistic ways. As a monk, she kills her food in the least painful way, through the ways she learns in the monastery. She hates the way the Wendigos so carelessly tear apart their prey with excitement.
— INTERVIEWING THE OC.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT EPHEMERUS' FOUR YEARS RULING SYSTEM?
It's a load of crap. Our population is slowly decreasing due to these retarded wars. However, it must be done. I'm not on board with wasting so many lives, but if that's what it takes to rule, it must be done. With the other senseless beings out here, I do now believe the system may be needed. Us werewolves need to prove ourselves the best, so we can rule this world and have it to everyone's advantage.
WHAT WAS YOUR PAST LIKE?
WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE BATTLE AND COMPETE FOR THE EPHEMERAL CROWN?
After years of analyzing, I understood one thing. Though we werewolves are fierce, we are quite sensible. By forming alliances with others because of our strength, we could potentially lead an amazing world. And currently, that's what we are doing. We have formed many pacts with others because of our strength advantage. We're not savages like the Wendigos, and we're not as naïve as the silly humans. You'd think I'd side with the elves, but I don't believe they have the power or capability to rule well. I believe that above all, the werewolves' strength is the most important. However, it must be backed by a bit of wisdom. If we are able to turn our wisdom into strength, we'll have the perfect rule. Other races are either too cunning, too powerless, or too... disgusting. We're right in the middle, and with a little intelligence and planning, the werewolves will be able to rule the perfect world. When we do win, I hope to advise the throne.
WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTH AND WEAKNESSES?
Strengths, ah. To be able to strategize and think through each and every action is something I value a lot. Many of us mindlessly go in for the kill, but I think it's best to plan and use our minds rather than brute force and rage. I'm very good at distracting others, which buys me time and makes up for my lack of strength. I've mastered shape shifting efficiently, which adds to my speed and allows me to aide a comrade. Though I may not be so powerful on my own, put me with anyone else, and I'll show you exactly how it's done. ;) A weakness I do have is my lack of strength compared to most werewolves. I can come up with extremely intelligent ideas with what I learned from the elves, but it's difficult for me to vocalize it, as there are only a few out of the many werewolves that are sensible and strategic while going into a fight. Because of this, I tend to be more independent, and I'll do what I think is right. Also, err... I might have a slight problem with triggering others. I kinda sorta say the wrong things at the wrong moments because I'm a smart who doesn't know when to stop taunting people, which makes people mildly resent me. Just mildly. Hahaha whoops.
WHAT ARE YOUR STRATEGIES IN THE BATTLE?
To chase down enemies or sneak attack, I run at them swiftly in my normal form, in which I wear light weight clothes to be quiet and nimble. Right before they realize I am behind them, I transform into my werewolf form and pounce onto them. While fighting, I use my fists and claws, which are armed with brass knuckles. Other than that, I mainly summon inner energy, not through magic, but through practices of meditation I did when I was younger. This enables me to deal more damage by just using martial arts. I first attack in werewolf form, clawing at them until they're weak, and then I return to my normal form, proceeding to attack using tai jutsu techniques. Once my opponent is down, however, I give them a chance to surrender, or redeem themselves. If they say anything that will even mildly anger me, I'll finish them off with a kick in the gut, channelling my energy into the ball of my foot. My main goal, however, is to weaken as many opponents as I can, which makes it easier for fellow werewolves to destroy them. So even if I don't get to killing them, I'll weaken them down to a state were they will be at a great disadvantage. This allows me to complete my work faster and get away. It's like a assembly line, right? It's been proven that rather than finishing something all at once, assigning people to do different jobs will make the process more efficient and easy.

CLASS — Battle Priest
OCCUPATION — A healer at the Monastery
STATS

SUMMARY — He's more of a follower than a leader, unlike Jihye. He's very down to earth, but if you touch his loved ones or family, he will risk his life to get revenge, even though he's very low on strength. He's a hardcore elf supporter, and he's proud that he's one. He believes that the basis for being a good being is education. He follows all the rules, and believes those who don't should be punished. He doesn't like to do much of the fighting, so he leaves that to his other elvish counterparts. He does enjoy healing, however, and tries everything he can to protect his kind. While he doesn't take much damage, he's a complete dork when it comes to avoiding attacks and getting away. He's the type to accidentally throw a grenade without exactly knowing what it does. If ever in the position to attack, he might start laughing nervously and try to wink at his opponent, but once the opponent starts coming after him, he screams like a little girl and runs for his life using anything in his abilities to stop his enemy from following him.
FIRST MEETING — They met each other many years after Jihye joined the monastery, when she was 14. Myungsoo was already a professional healer, and he watched as she was training throughout the night, trying to develop chi capabilities. However, she didn't understand that as a werewolf, these things weren't possible to achieve. He didn't know at the time that she was a werewolf, and he shook in fear as she transformed into one, and climbed her way to the top of the tree she was hitting earlier. She didn't realize she was already exhausted of her energy from practicing, and she shortly fell from the tree, fainting. Myungsoo, the good natured being he is, rushed to catch her, and he took care of her for the rest of the night. There was no romantic connection between either of them at the time. In fact, after Jihye woke up, she got angry at him for letting her sleep.
RELATIONSHIP — In the monastery, there weren't that many romantic couples, but as the years passed, they developed forbidden feelings towards each other. They had a sort of passive aggressive relationship. Myungsoo would get annoyed by her stubbornness and pride, which Jihye would constantly yell at him for being such a child. In the end, however, it was because they truly cared for one another. They never had any dEEPLY intimate moments, they never confessed to each other, nor did they express any feelings. They had hidden feelings towards each other, but they never started dating. Close, but it didn't happen, as Jihye leaves for the war. The only times they openly expressed any hint of love towards each other was through the deep late night discussions they had about the system, and the world they were currently living in. This is why when Jihye told him she was leaving to go to help the werewolves with winning the war, Myungsoo became enraged. She was hurt, as he didn't understand that she had deep ties to her own race as well. She left him with a cold glare, turning her back and leaving the monastery. Before she could go too far, he yelled his confession to her, and told her he'd see her in the war. This event changed Myungsoo, and he wanted to improve his abilities and join the elves in the war, to show her that she should've stayed and helped the elves. Jihye was able to control her emotions a lot better, and she tried her best to let go of any ties she had with him. They might be weaknesses for each other when they see each other in the war.
L’ves Revenge: A technique he has created himself (named after his nickname, L). It causes the enemy to hallucinate and see Myungsoo without a shirt on while winking at them. He then blows kisses which will deal damage and stun his enemies for some time. For every kiss that hits them, he gains health. GUARANTEED TO WORK ON MALES AS WELL :D
Rage of the Bunnies: With a wave of his staff, bunnies fly (yes fly) toward his enemies and cling onto them, slowing them significantly and biting them. So no, it’s not VERY EFFECTIVE, but it still helps :’)
Collywobble Cuddles: It causes pain in the abdomen and stomach (Collywobbles means a bellyache)
Potato Patooties: Myungsoo’s fake spell that doesn't really do anything but is used to stall time or for fun because he starts firing talking potatoes out of his staff.
"Kitty Kat Patty Wak, surrender or else I attack!": When he yells out this spell, fake cat ears, whiskers, and a black nose show up on his face/head. People don’t take him seriously, since it’s just a costume, but he uses this to his advantage and waves his staff, which slashes the enemies skin like a cat would. The slash is small but deteriorates their energy by the minute
Care-Bear Despair/ Care-Bear Flair: This is a mind thing. When used against his enemies, they become distracted and are sent into a trance about teddy bears, rainbows, and unicorns. When used on allies, it puts them in a calm state of mind, so they can focus better. (Despair is for enemies and Flair is for allies)
Sacred Blessed Light Weapon Of Good AKA Holy Hand Grenade: If Myungsoo is not feeling adventurous enough to use his spells, he throws his Holy Hand Grenade xD I’d imagine a situation in which an enemy is stunned by how holy the grenade looks, so Myungsoo explains it to him really casually and then they bond over its holiness and throw it at another enemy. Maybe a situation like this:

LOOOOL definitely watch this it’s hilarious xD
FAMOUS LAST WORDS — Mine or my OC's? XD
SCENE SUGGESTIONS — I would really enjoy seeing a scene that's really meaningful, in a way that people start to realize what they're doing is wrong, etc. Forms of betrayal would also be really interesting, having races turn against their own people due to either love conflicts or beliefs. I think you should highlight that when people go into something with an ill intent, there will be some conflict existing, no matter who you are. It would be nice to see people be forced to kill the ones they love; if they're another race or something. Also, personally it would be cool to to see a romantic/heartfelt reunion between Myungsoo and Jihye during the war, before parting and hoping the other survives.
PASSWORD — Yes of course~ I tended to play mages, or archers. Anything long ranged honestly. Which is funny because my OC is melee. I've also played assassins. I think I've tried many different classes, but my all time favorites were the mages.
