I was met with an accident

Sooo, I was side sweep by a motorcycle....

Yes, I am injured and couldn't walk properly....

Well my bag was the one who got hit and my water bottle broke * cries* anyways

I'm betting I can't attend school tommorrow, but I need to go to school because exams are almost there

Has anybody in here experienced being side sweeped?

I have a lot of bruises and my knees have friction burns  ( my pants even got small rips)

And my right arm has two scars and bruises TT^TT 

Lord please watch over me. 

By the way in other countries is it true that if a person got an accident in the pedestrian lane the one driving will go to jail?

I hope you're okay and that you feel better soon. It probably really hurts and it'll be pretty sore and tender on the hurt areas for a while. ^^'

I have no idea what the law regarding that is since im not a driver, but i hope you dont get arrested? I've been side swept on a dirt bike and it hurt like a . I was like 11 and barely tall enough yo keep it stable. I was trying to round the corner in my yard and I fell over and kept going. horrible experience. I'm sorry you had to go through it, too. feel better!

Did you talk with a police officer? Or go to a hospital there might be some bad scrapes on your body! And maybe you can take the make up exams instead of going school tomorrow?

Definitely! It's a pedestrian lane. Unless you cross without looking at the traffic lights. Anw, I'm praying for your fast recovery :)

ohmygosh ;;-;; i hope you'll recover quickly... i really hope you're okay now, are you still in pain? idk if the person is charged with the medical bills where i live (i at civics), but there must be some sort of lawsuit you can pull on their . or if you don't wanna go through the trouble of that, they'll probably be fined

In Australia if you were side swept the person at fault would be fined and forced to pay for the medical fees. Hope you're okay tho

That's dangerous. Do be more careful and may you get well soon. Did the person apologized and sent you to the clinic/ hospital for treatment ? The person should at least do that and pay for your medical fees .

Omg wtf?! The motorcycle guy harmed you and because it was had actus reus and mens rea (being reckless) YOU CAN FILE A GODDAMN LAWSUIT!! Omg what? I've NEVER been side swept by any vehicle! (Although I had a friend in elementary who was hit by a car and had to have his face all replaced with stitches and plastic surgery)
