PERSONALITY:
Everyone who knows ryung would agree that she is very headstrong and fearless when it comes to protecting those close to her. She would stop at nothing to avenge any wrongs done to them and to protect them from any harm, most especially her younger brother. She is not afraid to push her pride away to protect those dear to her because she believes that they are more important than her pride.
Ryung is also known to be good with her words and can turn situations into her favour just by twisting others' words. This is ofcourse used to full advantage with her ambitious nature when she wants to get something. What Ryung wants, Ryung gets is her motto. She can also be very hurtful with her harsh words and rash actions, causing misunderstandings and disagreements. However, despite being very harsh with her words sometimes, she is very honest and sincere in everything she does and says. She doesn't lie unless she's forced to, and she hates liars.
Passionate would also be one of the words most people who meets her would describe her as. You can see how much passion and effort she puts into everything she does, whether it be dancing or rapping or even singing. She tries her best no matter what and practically nothing can hold her back once she sets her sights on something.
BACKGROUND:
Originally born in Mokpo, Ryung's family moved to Thailand when she was 3 because of her father's company moving him to be in charge of a their chain in Thailand. She grew up there learning Thai and English in school, while using Korean at home with her family. Their life was pretty comfortable and average her whole elementary school life. She was in the same school and was grouped together with Ten which eventually led them to becoming good friends for the many more years to come.
However, The company her father was in suddenly shut down at the beginning of her high school life, making her father lose his job overnight. Their financial status has never been the same since then, especially because it took months for her father to find another job and even when he did, the pay was not as high. Ryung took it upon herself to get a scholarship and find a part-time job to pay for her tuition fees and allowance so that she will not burden her family.
When Haejin, her younger brother, was born, she took on the responsibility of taking care of him since everyone else was busy most of the times. Haejin was born with mild autism, which made him a good target for bullies, so whenever ryung hears anything negative that happens to her brother outside, she is the first to storm to his school and confront whoever it was that caused harm to her brother. This is also the reason why she despises and cannot stand people who are very narrow-minded and picks on others for no good reason.
She and her family do go back to Korea for a short holiday every now and then, and it is in one of those holidays when she was 17 that she was casted to audition to pledis on the street, where she gladly acceoted and went to audition immediately despite her brother's refusals.

HOBBIES:
◉ Dancing, she used to be in dance club then changed to the Cheerleading squad
◉ Playing sports! Since most sports require you to move around, ryung loves it.
◉ Skating (Roller skating, skate boarding, Ice skating), something she does when she feels too stressed.
TRIVIA:
◉ She used to be classmates with NCT's ten and they used to be in a clique together
◉ She loves thailand's sunny, tropical weather and sometimes misses it when it's cold in Korea
◉ Because she hates staying still and not doing anything, she's always finding things to do or sports to play, which is why there are many things she knows how to do.
◉ Her family was not in a very good place financially, so she worked part-time in a cafe as the waitress or dishwasher while in school.
◉ Her first passion was in dancing until she listened to Tupac, then she gained interest in rapping and discovered her talent in it.
◉ She's a huge fan of Dean, whom she discovered one day while surfing on the net. She hopes to meet him and work with him one day.
◉ When she was 5, she went to Bangkok's Oceanworld and was entranced by the beauty of the sea animals which led her to fall in love with marine life so much so that at one point, she wanted to become a marine biologist. If her dreams of becoming an idol fails, maybe she still might go for it.
◉ She moved back to Korea on her own earlier than her family when she got accepted at Pledis and stayed at a dorm provided by Pledis since her home town, Mokpo, is far. Her family moved after her a few months later but is staying at Mokpo so she can only see them occasionally.
◉ In elementary school, she joined the dance club and often participated in the various sports in her school too when they needed an extra person or when there was a competition or festival. In high school, however, she decided to join the cheerleading squad to try something new. She often alternated between being the flyer or the spotter.
RELATIONSHIPS:
◉ Close Friends - Chittaphon Leechaiyakul (20) / Idol / Playful, Hardworking, Sweet / Ten, as he is more widely known as, has been her friend and classmate since elementary so their friendship is really strong. In fact, it was ten who convinced her to try out being an idol. They initially auditioned at SM together but only ten got accepted, so ryung worked even harder to level up with him and ended up in Pledis.
◉ Older Brother - Lee Hyun (24) / Pilot / Protective, Disciplined, Realistic / Hyun is ryung's older brother who is very protective of his siblings especially ryung, who is the only girl. He cares for her a lot so it's not surprise when he initially rejects the idea of ryung being an idol. He thinks that the pressure would be too much and he doesn't like the idea of anyone hurting or taking advantage of his little sister. This led to them having a big fight as ryung doesn't want to let go of her dream. It is only when ryung finally gets accepted at pledis that he reluctantly gives in and gives her his support though he still tries to reason with her when the opportunity rises.
◉ Younger Brother - Lee Haejin (10) / Student / Clingy, Affectionate, Sociable / Haejin, being the youngest, is very dependent on his older siblings but is closer to ryung than hyun as hyun is almost always at work though he does look up to both of them. He's very affectionate and demands a lot of attention from those older than him, especially ryung and is very clingy towards her. Initially, he was very happy for Ryung when she became a trainee but eventually realised how much she would be away from him and was very upset. This caused him to undergo depression, which ryung feels very sorry for as she feels that it is her fault but she can't do anything about it. Over time, he learns to deal with it but still calls her and asks her when she is coming home often.
◉ Friend - Lim Nayoung (21) / Focused, Leaderly, Skillful / Nayoung was one of ryung's first friends as a trainee when she entered Pledis as she is also a fellow rapper and around her age. They hang out often and exchange constructive criticism of each other's self-composed raps. If she is free, ryung supports nayoung by being there when she goes on stage with IOI or as a backup dancer to one of pledis' artists. They're both very supportive of each other and ryung wants to do a collaboration with her when the opportunity comes.
