# Style: For clothing, Serin prefers to not wear bright eye-catching color such as orange, yellow, or neon colors. She prefers softer or darker colors. She isn't really comfortable wearing high heels and lacy dresses. So she never really wear them except when she has to. She mostly wears shirts with leather pants, jeans,  or skirt. # Personality: Being a quiet kid, Serin didn't really find the point of lying. As long as the truth won't destroy anyone, she will tell anything that is the truth. For her, telling lies would hurt someone even more if they happen to discover the truth. Despite of being a freaking rich kid, she is hardworking especially to the things she had set target or something she sees as a promising things for her. Being a timid kid who is hard to socialize, she is used to observing, which times to times lead her into being keen. Telling apart someone who tells truth and someone who tells lie is a piece of cake for her. She can also know unspoken things such as one's age, one's occupation, one's introversion/extroversion tendency from the way they dress, etc. (reference : madame antoine's go hyerim, 38 task force's jo mijoo) Because of that she became sensitive of other people's feel and is more empathetic than average people. Serin is quite similar to a snail. She is timid and it makes her need more times than most people to adapt in new environment. It also is quite difficult to get close to her as she will be nervous whenever new people talk to her. It's hard for her to even speak properly when she meets new people. You will hear her shaken voice whenever she forces herself to speak even though her heart is beating fast. It's quite vague whether she is just simply a timid in front of strangers, or she is actually scared of new people. Being a quiet and timid child, she just became naturally secretive. She is not the type of kid who likes to tell her how was her day, or even the problems she faces. However, even though she seems weak, she is someone who would never cry in front of others. Because she knows that it will lead to questions about herself. She also is quite a cowardy cat, because after being an outcast in the US, she saw the outside world of a scary things. She will always need someone to courage and guide her. It will be dangerous to let her go around without her phone, as she might be scared to just ask for a direction even if she gets lost.

Despite of her young age, she is a hardworking pie. She won't let her things became unfinished. Especially to things she has set target of, things she sees as her obligations, or things she sees as promising for her. Even so, she isn't someone who like to take trivial works lightly. She will still finish it nonetheless. She always pays attention to even a slightest detail of her works, and will make sure that there are nothing she missed or lacked. # History: Lee Serin was born to a couple of a successful business people. You can say that she was born with a golden spoon in . When she was 5*, her family needed to move because her father was appointed by her paternal grandfather to lead their family's company new branch in the US. Living as an asian there wasn't that easy for her. Her school only had a few asians, and she got discriminated often by her friends. Some of her seniors even bothered her as a form of a so-called friendly attention. She once got locked in a toilet, not once or twice she received papers of mockery in her desk, and she often had her belongings hidden. Being a little kid she was, it became quite a trauma for her. For her two last years there, she became an introvert and just simply didn't talk at all except with her teachers. She will avoid talking to her friends, and she was always alone. Even if she was obliged to say something to her friends, she will write it all down with a marker in a sketchbook. She was near to a selective mutism.

When she was 11*, her family moved back to South Korea because her father was able to get her grandfather's trust to be appointed as the CEO of the headquarter company in South Korea. Even after moving back to her hometown, she didn't change that much. She does became quite open as she was treated normally here, but it was just to the point that she got rid of her habit of writing things down, and started to talk since then. To improve her skill in socialize, her grandmother enrolled her to many classes. Acting Academy, Dancing Academy, even Taekwondo class. However, her hardworking personality made her become too focused on improving her skills instead of trying to make friends. Which brought on a good result. She was scouted by a production team of a new movie project titled The Neighbor. The little girl was scared, so refused it at first, however after being couraged by her sister, grandmother, and her acting coach, she decided to audition for it with the help of a few days private class with her acting coach.

Captivated by her unusual aura, and the sincere look in her stare, she was chosen to play the double role, and eventually made her debut on it. She continue acting as a freelance until her appearance on The Queen's Classroom. She got an offer to sign with FNC Entertainment, and ended up joining them as a child actress. However, just two years after signed contract with them, she got an offer from her maternal cousin, Kim Jina, who is the director of CheriE Entertainment, to join the company as their new girl group's member. Jina, who was previously told by CEO Choi about her will of searching for someone who has debuted in the entertainment industry to be their trainees, suddenly remembered of Serin who was a talented actress who had an unrevealed skill in dancing, after a few months passed, and decided to contact her directly to talk about the offer. Even though she was interested, however she refused it at first. Serin was fearful. It's just like a different world for her, and she fears that it won't suit her, or even worse, she fears that it will harm her. She knew idols' fans are dangerous.

However, Jina's determination to get her join the company didn't let her to give up just like that. She kept convice her that the company and Jina herself will protect her that she could be safe. Slowly, the younger agreed the offer, and Jina eventually brought her to the CEO. CEO Choi was surprised to see Serin visited her company, and started to open a little talk. However, Jina cut them off by officially introduce her as a new trainee. CEO Choi got even surprised, but kept her cool and started to give nice words to her, began to think about how much the group's chance to get big would be, as Serin was actually popular as a child actress. Serin then became their official trainee since August 2015

• Maternal Auntie; Choi Anna / CEO of CheriE Entertainment / Being born as Choi Dana's sister, CEO Choi automatically became Serin's maternal aunt as soon as she was born. They met sometimes at family gathering, but they aren't really close. Just to the point that they know each other, that's it. Even in the company, Serin still call her and treat her as CEO Choi instead of her aunt. She even save CEO Choi's number as CEO Choi Anna instead of Auntie Anna. The staffs and artists (of course except Director Kim) don't even know that they're related until now.
