APPEARANCE — standing at 150cm (later 165cm) and weighing at 40kg (later 50kg), Jin was born with dark brown eyes and thick brown hair. She has a small mole just beneath her left eye. She has a birthmark underneath her right feet in a shape of a big distorted oval. She grows out her long hair till the waist but later on in her third year, Jin dyes her hair a lighter shade of brown that is not that noticeble unless directly underneath a light and has cut her hair to just below her chest. She also had kinda mismatched eyebrows but she didn't fill them in until her third year.

STYLE — The beginning of her school year, she was already folding her skirt up to knee level and pinned it so it will stay in place  and had ed the first two buttons of her white collared shirt although she kept her knitted v jumper on and her tie was on. On her feet was normal plain black shoes with black and white AA stripes socks. In her second year, she maintained that fashion but she had altered her skirt before the term starts. By her third year, Jin had forego her jumper. She had now folded her shirt's sleeves up to her elbow and had tucked in her shirt into her skirt, her skirt became shorter. She wore her tie loosely around her neck and she now wore a pair of black Vans shoes instead of her normal black shoes. If it got too cold, she would wear her sweater over her collared shirt. She wouldn't tie up her hair  to a high ponytail unless she was having a bad hair day or she just wanted to tie it up

On days when there are no school, Jin likes to go simple yet fashionable. She would always be wearing a basic tee or a tumblr tee paired up with her black jeggings or sometimes faded jeans or knee slit jeggings. She would wear them with a converse or a nike airmax 90 shoes. Sometimes when its not too hot, Jin would pair up her outfit with a denim jacket or a flannel shirt. Jin will always wear her letter 'J' necklace even during school hours, ocassionally wearing it over her tie. She has pierced her ears before she begin school but later on in the year, she had pierced a second hole on her left ear. On both of her first earhole, she's wearing a black circle earstud and on her second earhole is the letter 'J' earstud.

In her first year, Jin didnt care about how she really looked but when she was in her third year, she started to wear makeup bit by bit. She would apply a powder foundation, filling in her eyebrows and apply a natural pink shade of lipstick.

PERSONALITY —

Jin is your outgoing and playful girl. Just by being with her, someone would feel happy because she just have that positive vibe and she cracks killer jokes and good comebacks that can make anyone laugh when they hear it. Dare to do, dare to express, dare to dream and yes, dare to get in trouble. Jin is a daring person who just loves to prank people and go on random adventures. Even though she knows she might get in trouble and even might hurt her prank victim, she loves and continues to do it. When she sees a chance to do something or go somewhere, she will do it no matter what the consequences are. She loves the thrill of it and how she has to run away in order not to get caught.. Even though Jin pranks people just for the fun of it, she knows she has crossed the line when her victim got really hurt or when she knows herself that the victim didn't deserved that. She would then stop what she's doing and apologize and is concerned whether her victim is alright. Jin's not all jokes and pranks and in her world especially when she sees someone being a bully to someone who is unable to fend themselves. That is when Jin interferes and delivers twice the act the bully did to the victim just in her own Jin way. (that is either giving off snarky remarks or just putting a spell on the bully.)

Jin can be dedicated to something if she puts her mind to it but she only puts her dedication in things that are important to her and that doesn't involves studying. When she sees something she's interested in, she dedicates her whole time and even might sacrifies her time just for that one thing. (eg. Quidditch.). She's always wanting to be good at something she loves. Jin loves to adventure out to anywhere she deems interesting especially if its abandoned or has rumours behind it. She's always taking the chance to do something that others are afraid or wont do. Jin is laidback in her studies and she doesn't even take it seriously but she's a smart kid which is why she rarely gets caught when doing all her pranks and that she get good grades. Many don't believe that she's actually in the top 10 for her cohort due to her troublemaker image.

Even though Jin is a daring person, she can be reckless and do things on an impulse basis. She doesn't give much thought in her actions or words and would rather let it flow which might lead to fights and trouble ocassionally but Jin got it covered. Jin is like a sly fox, she can get cruel in her pranks and most of her remarks but she speaks what's on her mind and sometimes the truth which some people can't accept. She can be very cruel in dealing those who treat her or her close ones badly. She would get them into trouble and when the victim points to Jin, she will feign ignorance and say that she didn't know what's going on. She will have no remorse on her face towards those that ill-treats the people around her. When she gets caught for her pranks, she has that uncanny ability to sweet talk her way out of it. She doesn't like to be tied-down by rules, heck she breaks most of them though she considers them as guidelines to ponder over but she knows her limits and when to break it. Its all about being in the right moment for Jin.

PAST — Junghwan and Nanami met in a underground subway cafe. Junghwan was having a cup of coffee to pass time and Nanami was there to help out her aunt while she was having vacation in Korea. They both noticed each other but didn't dare to speak a word even when Nanami was the one that served Junghwan his coffee. After that, Junghwan kept coming back to the cafe to see Nanami and eventually he gather his courage to talk to Nanami but she was only able to talk basic Korean and she was going back to Japan the day after tomorrow. Junghwan devastated took the whole day to figure things out and he eventually decides to ask Nanami out for a night date. They had fun despite the language barrier and decides to keep in contact with each other. But Junghwan doesn't tell Nanami that he's a wizard, fearing that he might scared her away. Later, Junghwan proposes to Nanami and she accepts. They got married and decided to settle down in Anyang, Gyeonggi. When Junhee was 5 and Jin was 4, Junghwan and Nanami realises that he had magic which is when Junghwan confesses to Nanami that he's a wizard and that Junhee is too. Nanami was shocked at the confession and decided to go back to her aunt's house to think things out, bringing Jin along. She eventually accepted it slowly and they found out Jin had magic too when at 5 years old, when Junhee was sleeping, Jin almost knocked her brother out when she transformed his pillow into a fighting pillow with a metal fist at its corners and made it fight her brother which was eventually stopped by her father. She was a mischievous child, always pranking her parents and brothers. It was kinda handful for her father as Jin was always running around the house, trying not to get caught by her father for using magic as they were living in a muggle neighbourhood. Jin and Junhee would always be seen or heard arguing and when you do see them, you can actually see them pulling each other's hair off. Jin and Junhee became friends with across the street neighbour, Hoseok. Jinhee was the one that help Hoseok discovered that he too had magic.

PRESENT — Jin had went to a muggle school until she was 10. Getting good grades although she doesn't pays attention in class and tends to skip out lessons. She's the class clown and without fail, she doesn't stop pranking her homeroom teacher even with countless warnings and scoldings. She would use her magic to prank on the teachers and students secretly but that caused her dad to be angry as she was using magic among muggles. At home, she would be lazying around waiting for her letter to come, although she knows it will come only at an appropriate time but she's still waiting for it. Her mother would teach her japanese when she's free but Jin wasn't really into it. She would occassionaly practice magic when her parents are not around but ultimately got scolded when she got caught as she was not allowed to use magic just yet especially in the muggle world. If she's not practicing magic, she's either playing and going on adventures with Hoseok and Junhee. She was sad when her brother and Hoseok got their acceptance letter to Maseol and was upset that they were gonna leave her for a year. The house was lonely without her brother so her pranks seemed to be going downhill which was kinda of a relief to her mother. She had went to Mabeob Ally and sent her brother and Hoseok off to Maseol with her family that year.

MASEOL — 

 

Having heard about Maseol from her brother and Hoseok, Jin was even more excited to go there. When she got her letter and her brother got his 2nd year letter, their father brought them to Mabeob Ally and they shop for new school supplies. Later while Jin was choosing her pet to bring to Maseol, she bumped into Yeseul. Yeseul was annoyed with Jin bumping into her although Jin had apologized for doing so. Yeseul told Jin off and Jin knew that she was gonna dislike Yeseul and brush Yeseul off. When Jin reached Maseol, she was sorted into Girim just like her brother. Knowing that her brother was there with her, Jin who was nervous became calm and she made friends with Wang Xueqi and other girls that shared the same room as her. While in her first year, she became well known for her snarky remarks and her pranks especially setting off a dung bomb on every professors's chairs during their first lessons of the day simultaneously and she became popular among the student body and the professors too. Jin had skip lessons one day to see Junhee try out for the Quidditch Team and she was captivated by it. From then on, she watches the quidditch team's practice whenever she had a chance. She constantly hang out with Hoseok and helped him out with his secret quidditch practices.

 

Jin had even more pranks up her sleeves. After coming up with ideas and inventions over the summer, she used one of her bombs on Yeseul just to tick her off for the start of the year. (which caused Yeseul to have pimples outbreak.) Jin try out for Girim's quidditch team as a Chaser and got in. Along with her brother who was a chaser too, they practiced hard (maybe cause they argued on who can get more goals.) they won their match against Anseung but lost against Wideok which caused Jin to be kinda upset and the school had a momentary pause from all her pranks. But Hoseok cheered her up and she launched a large scale prank on the students and got caught and thus got detention. But they were glad that she was back to normal. Jin tries to go to class in fear that she might get banned from quidditch.

 

Jin opened up a secret prank shop in the guys's bathroom (yes guys's bathroom, you think she wouldn't do it ?) to make a quick buck but it was instantly shut down after Yeseul told the head perfect and she got detention for that and got banned for a few quidditch games which caused a loss for Girim in winning the Quidditch Cup. She became friends with a Wideok guy called Changkyun which caused a rift between Hoseok and her. The rivarlry between Jin and Yeseul got even more worse when Yeseul joined the Anseung quidditch team that year to show Jin that she can do better than her.

 

In Year 4, school was getting hard for her friends but for Jin, she was still all fun and pranks. She's more dedicated to quidditch while enabling herself to have fun and pull pranks on people. Professor Vincent ocassionally has to keep talking to her to focus more on studies than doing pranks all the time. Things occur between Hoseok and Jin and they found themselves back to their little selves. During the quidditch cup week, Jin tries not to pull any major pranks though she couldn't resist putting a spell on Yeseul for talking bad about her best friend, Xueqi. Girim won the house and Quidditch Cup for that year.

 

 

FAMILY — 

♚ FATHER x KIM JUNGHWAN | 42 

Junghwan is a pure-blood wizard who loves his family dearly and would always want them to be happy. Jin loves her dad a lot and is considered daddy's daughter. Jin can always talk to her dad about anything and that includes boys. (which causes Junghwan to get angry sometimes as he's overprotective of her daughter.) But when Jin causes trouble at school, he would be firm towards her and punishes her. But it usually ends up in a way that Junghwan forgives his daughter easily.

"No allowance for the week. I told you that you can't use magic just yet."

"Appa (whining), you can't do that ! Please appa, just this once. (does aegyo)"

Nanami is a muggle. She's really kind and gentle with her children and is very affectionate to each of them. Although she can be stern towards Jin sometimes as Jin is always causing trouble here and there. She still loves both of them equally and would punish and scold both of them if they foughht with each other.

"KANG JINHEE, STOP RIGHT THERE. (catches her daughter, sneaking out of her neighbour's house.)"

"Junhee, I know you're there too. Come out both of you. You're both grounded for the week"

Junhee is a half-blood wizard. He is Jin's older brother by a year. Junhee is your popular and heartthrob guy. With his good looks, girls swoons over him. He has a playful personality much like his sister though he doesnt do pranks, he does girls (ohmygad) Chaser of Girim's quidditch team. He and Jin tends to argue with each other a lot on who can do better at a certain something (eg. scoring how many points during a match or who can get mother angry first.) They like to tease each other too. Despite all that, they care deeply about each other.

"You were not that bad out there. But I could have been better."

"We'll see first year. (ruffles Jin's hair.) Try getting on the team first before you even say that"

"You just wait and see. I'll be scoring more goals than you ever did in this match."

Hyerin is a hesistant girl who must always think twice before doing anything. She's loyal and very dedicated to the people close to her. Being in the same classes and sitting next to each other in Charms Class. Jin saved Hyerin from being bullied by Yeseul once and they became good friends despite being in different houses. Jin helps Hyerin to be more brave and she sometimes drags Hyerin to one of her random adventures. Jin admires how Hyerin is always working hard towards studies, something that Jin herself can't and do not want to achieve.

♚ BESTFRIEND/ROOMMATE x WANG XUEQI | 11 | fc: Sonamoo's Kim Nahyun

Xueqi is a Chinese pure-blood wizard hailing from Shanghai, China who moved to Korea after her death of her father. Xueqi has a lot of aegyo in her and she has a cute smile which yes, gets all the guys falling for her. Even though she looks cute, dont underestimate her - she's actually a strong girl who will pick up a fight if you did something bad to her. She and Jin shares the same room with other girls but she's closer to Jin as the rest of the girls in the room were pure Koreans. (not to be racist or anything.) She and Jin goes everywhere together though sometimes Xueqi bails on Jin when she has an important meeting or date to go to. She has a crush on Jin's brother, Junhee but doesnt tell Jin,

"Xueqi, you coming or nah ?"

"umm.. did i told you i suddenly had an urgent assignment to pass up ?"

"Which guy got caught in your trap this time ?"

♚ CHILDHOOD FRIEND x JUNG HOSEOK | 12 | fc: BTS's J-Hope

Hoseok is a muggle born wizard that lives across the street from Jin's house. He ocassionally hangs out with Jin and Junhee after making friends with them at their neighbourhood playground. Hoseok was there when Junhee first found out that he had magic and instead of being freaked out like every muggle would, he instead was amazed at it. Jin and Hoseok have the oppa - dongsaeng bickering type of relationship much like Junhee and Jin but in secret they actually had developed feelings for each other over the years they've been together but just didn't want to ruin their relatioship. Hoseok take cares of Jin well, even though he doesnt show it - usually helping her get out of detention or trouble. He is Jin's adventure buddy and quidditch's secret practice partner even though they are from different houses.

"I told you that you have to be careful, jinhee"

"I'm fine, oppa."

"Lies. You can't even move your leg or even walk. How are you fine ?"

- Jinhee tripped over while walking through an abandoned part of Maseol, Hoseok carries her on his back to the nurse office.

OTHERS — 

♚ HEAD OF GIRIM & TRANSFIGURATION PROFESSOR x CHO DAESUNG  | 33 | fc: lee dongwook

Of all the professors in Maseol, Jin favours Professor Cho the most. Not that she has a crush on him or anything like that but its just that she could talk to Professor Cho on a comfortable and respected level more than the other professors. Even though Professor Cho would give her detention and be firm towards Jin sometimes, he would still be a fun loving professor towards Jin and Professor Cho isn't bias at all. Jin would about Professor Vincent everytime he tries to talk on a serious matter with Jin.

"Professor Vincent keeps seeing you in her detention class. Can you st-"

"You stopped by to give her chocolates didn't you ?"

"Wait ! How did you know ? Wait that is not what i meant."

- Jinhee teases Professor Cho when he gave Professor Vincent chocolates secretly.

 

♚ CHARMS PROFESSOR x RENEE VINCENT  | 34 | fc: abigail alderete

Professor Vincent will always see Jin in her detention, in fact Jin is usually the one she sees daily that she has somewhat gives up on talking to her to be a good student. Professor Vincent is sassy towards Jin and dreads seeing her in detention as she prefers to be doing something else than staying in detention class, waiting for time to pass. Jin will always be giving out snarky remarks and she takes this time to dish out stories of Professor Vincent and Professor Cho so that she can tease them about it later.

"Professor, your favourite student has arrived yet again."

"You're my least favourite student. Get out."

"Ouch. You hurt me so badly, Professor."

- Jinhee goes into detention again and tells Professor Vincent that she's here again.

Yeseul has a mean personality or from what Jin calls her - 'a crazy .' Yeseul likes to bully those muggle borns and bully those who hangs out and are friends with muggle borns. She's not guilty of what she does and continues to strike fear into those muggle borns. She cares about her looks more than her studies. From the moment, Yeseul and Jin crashed into each other's shoulders while walking through the busy streets of Mabeob Ally. They knew they will be sworn enemies and hate each other to the core. Jin would always find a chance to play a prank of Yeseul and Yeseul would find a way to get back at Jin but most of the time, failing to do so.

Changkyun is just a friendly Wideok who doesnt look down on others. He doesn't take pride in his smart genes. He's usually seen hanging around people from Girim and Namgeon and never from his own house. He is one year older than Jin and had somesort took a liking to her after hearing rumours about her and seeing and talking to the person herself. He became friends with her in her third year and it caused Hoseok to be jealous as he's always seen with Jin with his arms around her, making it seem like they were together. Changkyun likes to tease Hoseok because of that. Jin and Changkyun briefly dated.

SUMMARY —  

Hoseok is your smark jock kind of guy. He excels in both studies and quidditch and could be consider as one of the popular guys alongside Junhee. He can come off as cold at first especially to strangers and new people but when you do get to know him, you'll know he's just a ball of fluff and he's a good guy. He rather blends in the crowd than stand out in a crowd but due to his good looks and popularity, he can't. He's humble and will always play fair especially in a quidditch game. When he's with his close friends, he's just like any other guy - rowdy and crazy. It may seem to other people that he likes to keep to himself but in actual fact, he can be rather wild, seeing that he is Jin's personal adventure buddy. He is selfless, always putting others before himself. He tries to make all his loved ones happy. He cares for the people that is close to him and would do anything to help them when they need him. He's protective and would stand up against anyone who hurts his close ones badly. However, Hoseok doesn't like to show that he cares about others. He's always putting on a poker face. But even so, girls like him because of that which is why he's always trying to avoid them. He shows his affection in a way that his actions are showing that he cares but his words might be not. He also likes to show it in a secretive way, not wanting to be embarrassed in front of the people he cares about. He's loyal to his friends and family, always making sure he keeps his promises to them and he would never tell on them even if they did a bad thing. Overall, Hoseok is a tsundere boy who has a good heart and really cares for his family and friends.

Hoseok thought he was just a muggle. After all, he was born to two muggle parents who doesn't seem to know anything about the magic world. He was amazed and kinda jealous when he sees his across the street neighbours, Jin and Junhee having magic of their own. But one day, when Jin had dragged him on an adventure to an abandoned park and got herself huddled in a corner, injured after being chased by a big dog, Hoseok had seemingly use his magic on a broken chair to scare the big dog away. That is when Jin and himself knew, he too had the magic in him. His parents were terrified at first after finding out that their only son had magic and seemed to outcast him which cause Hoseok to think whether is his magic was a gift or a disaster. During that time, he mostly stayed at Jin and Junhee's house, learning of the magic school, Maseol. Over time, his parents accepted it because they love him very much and had then send him off to Maseol, praying that he would be in good hands and he will come back safely. His parents decided that a ginger cat would be the best pet for him and hence Hoseok brought it along to Maseol.

When Hoseok reached Maseol, he was sorted into Namgeon while Junhee was sorted into Girim. He was kinda bothered at first but he is doing well with his new friends and roommates. He would hang out with Junhee from time to time, sitting next to him in classes. In his 2nd year, he tried out for the Namgeon's Quidditch Team and he got in as Keeper. But he was lacking so he decided to have secret quidditch practices with Jin as his helper. He found interest in Herbology and he was a gifted herbologist.

 

 

Living across the street from each other, their first meeting was when they were kids playing at their neighbourhood playground. Jin and Junhee was lazying around on the swing set when they saw Hoseok standing from afar watching them. Jin prompt Junhee to go talk to him, arguing with him that he was a boy and Junhee should talk to him boy to boy (oh jin.) and once he did, he brought Hoseok over to introduce him to Jin. At first, Hoseok was hesistant to make friends with them but seeing how outgoing Junhee and Jin was, he was happy that he became their friend. From then on, the trio were never separated. Occassionally, Jin would be seen hanging out with Hoseok without Junhee as Hoseok would never reject her when she wanted to explore any abandoned places though he complains a lot.

RELATIONSHIP — 

 

Having to grow up with your childhood friend who was the opposite gender, there was definitely a chance that one of them would fall for the other. Things seemed to and will change if you start to see your friend as more than a friend.

 

That moment happened when Jin had dragged Hoseok to an abandoned theme park. They were walking around when Hoseok had stopped to tie his shoelace. When he looked up, Jin was gone and was nowhere to be found. He became worried and started running around looking around for Jin. Then he heard screaming and a dog barking, he ran to the source and found Jin huddled up in a corner with her ankle sprained and a big black dog just a few inches from her, ready to attack her. Without thinking, he threw the chair towards the dog and the chair caught fire whilst he was throwing it. After chasing the dog away, he rushed to Jin's side and realised that Jin had sprained her ankle while running away from the mad dog. Although shocked by the discovery of his own magic, he cared about Jin more. He carried Jin on his back and told her that she should be careful next time. Jin saw a new side of Hoseok that day, the caring yet manly Hoseok that was different from the oppa that is always bickering with her and thus she started to see him as more than a neighbourhood oppa. She buried her head into his shoulders and fell asleep as Hoseok carried her home.

 

For Hoseok, it was a totally different case. He didn't know when and how but I guess it goes along the lines "through all our jokes, bickering and random adventures, I fell for you." There was something about Jin that attracted Hoseok to her - maybe it was her smile or how she could make herself look like a fool but she didnt care or the fact that she was hella cute. Hoseok didn't knew what was the exact reason but he just woke up one day, thinking of Jin and only Jin because on other days, he would be thinking 'I wonder what is Junhee and Jin up to today." But alas, they were just pure innocent kids who were still finding themselves in the world. What had seemed to be first love was written off as just puppy love. Jin and Hoseok grew up and their feelings for each other was forgotten. Though at times, their minds will be subconsciouly saying to them, "I still kinda like you." when the other does something that made the other heart's skipped a beat. You could see that throughout the whole of Jin's first two years at Maseol, there were awkward and embarrasing moments between them but it was quickly covered up by their bickering again.

 

 

CONCLUSION — 

 

During the match of Anseung vs Girim, Jin took a bludger to her head. Hoseok was so worried about her that he ran down to the field to make sure she was alright. He occassionally visited her at the hospital, making sure to stay by her side when he had time. Jin finally woke up two weeks later and sees Hoseok sleeping soundly next to her bed, holding her hand. Jin waits till Hoseok wake up while admiring everything about him. When Hoseok woke up, there was an awkward moment because Hoseok realised he was holding Jin's hand while he was asleep. Jin laughed which made Hoseok laugh too breaking the awkwardness. Hoseok decided to confess his feelings and tell Jin why he was so worried about her and jealous about Changkyun. Jin chuckled and she said she knew and confess her feelings too. They kissed and they begin dating. 

 

They continued to date even after both of them graduated. Jin became a Chaser in Korea's Quidditch Team but after 2 years, she decided to quit and become an auror. Hoseok became an auror alongside Jin but then became a professor at Maseol, teaching Herbology. Hoseok proposed to Jin and they got married when Jin was 28 and had twins (a boy and a girl.)

FAMOUS LAST WORDS — Omg was that too lengthy for you ? I hope I didn't bore you or anything (hopefully prays ;;) SOOOO I hope you like Kang Jinhee. Just to note, that right after graduation, she slowly let go of her pranking ways although she still does cracks awesome jokes and give snarky remarks.
