I know that I haven’t updated Hot Cop in over a month and a half. But I just wanted to write this to inform my readers that I will only be able to start on the update around mid-June. 

I have been really caught up with academic commitments, especially since I have a dissertation to complete. And every time I go onto the AFF site, I feel really guilty because I know I should be using that same time I might spend over a fan fiction on my actual creative work that is about to be graded by professors who are established in their fields of work be it poetry or fiction or screenwriting. Needless to say, I just want to be able to write fan fiction without the guilt or the stress breathing down my neck. It’s meant to be fun but right now, it doesn’t feel that way for me at all. 

So for those of you who even remotely are interested in Hot Cop, please hold on tight. I’ll get to it when I can. Till then, I’m sure you can find other wonderful stories written by people in the fandom, some of whom are very dear to me and whom I know put a lot of effort into their works as well such as kwon-jyong, sassydaeho, autotunedd, doom-detat, maddymoonchild & prince__ji( and many more!). Also, I posted a one-shot a while ago on my AO3 account which you can read here as well. 

P.S. I hope you don’t forget Hot Cop by the time I return to AFF!
