oniyuri's sister was so stressed about getting into a particular school, her health was starting to deteriorate. when oniyuri had received an acceptance letter from that same college and she had gotten a rejection letter, oniyuri's sister refused to leave her room. when they checked up on her the next day, she was gone. the police had found her a day later, dead. she appeared to have jumped off the building and died on impact. oniyuri felt so guilty and devastated that she couldn't attend the school. she accepted an online college that offered a scholarship. oniyuri's social anxiety got so bad that she couldn't possibly leave her house.
the shinsun electronics went bankrupt and was bought by a bigger company in Oniyuri's first year of college at the age of 16. her parents had resulted to drug dealing and robbery. they got caught by the police and were given lifetime sentences in jail. she got her parents to sign a contract in which it allowed her to live alone in japan. she earned money with her parent's leftover money and by gambling onlne, doing online surveys, online reviews, and graphic designing. she started hacking her own websites and hacked multiple big time online stores. she learned what would make a computer lose all its data and how to snoop into private information. she found government information but didn't leak it.
oniyuri tried her best not to leave her apartment and graduated highschool when she was 19. she spent the year after college at home and surrounded by her electronics. she quietly lived out her life until incarnate found her in her apartment. they had knocked on her door and tried recruiting her. she hadn't talked to anyone in so long that she had a panic attack after they left. it took her a month to reply with a simple email saying "okay".
