Bunny's Random Musings: It's Okay & Nevermind

Sometimes it dwells on me that people who seem the most carefree might actually be the saddest. Secretly they might be tearing up and breaking down behind closed doors just because they didn't want anyone to worry over them.

Do you know someone who always says 'it's okay' and 'nevermind' to you? Does that sound rather familiar? Perhaps you are that person?

When you ask your friends (or family members) out with you to go somewhere or do something together, and all you get is a "Sorry but I'm busy on this day" or "How bout another time?" or perhaps "I'm really short on cash this week" and your response is always it's okay and nevermind. Don't worry about it! You wouldn't want your friend to feel bad about turning you down (time after time).

It doesn't hurt when you see their social media postings about going to x place with y person.
It doesn't hurt when you know they've prioritized someone else over you (and perhaps they always will).
You convince yourself that it's okay and s/he probably has a hard time managing all these relationships and damn, you shouldn't be so reliant and needy! Give your friends some space! Go do your own thing! But sometimes humans don't just want to be alone every single day you know? Once in a blue moon you actually want to go out and hang out. Have some fun with your friends and catch up on life amidst this busy thing called life.

Please treasure these people. The people who don't say much always hurts the most. While they try to keep you happy, who is thinking about their feelings?

Oh my, no one has commented yet! It is my great pleasure to be the first, noona! Anyways, I just wanted to say that your post hit close to home, and I also want to share my two cents on the matter from my own personal experience if you don't mind.

Well here it goes:

Sometimes the saddest thing isn't being alone. Sometimes the best company is your own. Sometimes your imagination can be your best friend, and sometimes the only person you can rely on is yourself.

Because sometimes the world in your head is the best place on earth, as sometimes the real world and the people around you would only cause you heart ache and disappointment.

Sometimes being alone is the happiest you could ever be. Sometimes the saddest is when your with people who makes you feel lonely. For you see, being alone isn't what makes you feel sad, but the world, telling you are, that is.
