Interested in a Comment Support Group?

This is something I've been trying to deal with for a while now, getting people to leave more comments on fanfiction. I'm not entirely sure what we can do to fix the issue, but if you're interested in coming up with something, either drop a comment down below or message me privately. I've been thinking about putting together an "elite group" of people who want to leave more comments and gain more comments in the process. Not sure what we'd call ourselves but if it can get people more active around here, why not try, right?

You might have suggested it before, but someone posted here about a comment shop they are running. The deal is you pay for a single comment on a story of your choosing with a comment of a story of the store owner's choosing. I know you talked about reciprocation on stories, but this was the system they came up with. That way, anyone can ask for comments, but they aren't freely given. Comments must be a minimum of three sentences and can't be "Yeah. Great story. Love it." or something like that; they have to be substantial. I have to say I stand by what I said last time about the lack of incentive for authors to leave comments, but I take back what I said about this situation being fruitless. In the interim period between now and getting a substantial system in place, possibly even the badge you suggested last time, this might make a little headway.
