Been talking with a friend, and we thought there must be a way to help the website and make it worth more to buy a Gold Membership. Here's a few things I had in mind for Gold Users, and I was wondering what everyone else thought.

1. Extensive Profile Personalization

Let's be honest, most people want to personalize their profiles. People live to show their individuality. Imagine if Gold Members were allowed a more extensive allowance to personalize their profile with themes much like stories? Do you think more people would be willing to purchase an account if this came with the package? 

2. Beta-Testing/First Look

As the website is often changing to cater to the growing userbase, it would be nice to have a select group of users who could test out new features before they're made site-wide permanently. Gold Members, given that it's a purchased account meaning those who had one would really care about the website, would be able to give their opinions and suggestions to the site, which would be super helpful to the admins. Not only would you be able to support the site through payment (buying the Gold Membership) but also through a more intimate relationship with the people behind the website. 

3. Comment Signatures

Going back to the idea of personalization, perhaps we could allow for Gold Members to have a (character-limited) signature to appear on their comments? This would be a great oppurtunity for them to advertise their own fanfictions as they leave comments, and might entice more site-goers to purchase a Gold Membership.
