Leeroy has a slightly toned body structure, something he isn't too squeamish about to flaunt it around. he has put his time and energy into it, so why not show it off a little. He has an olive skin complexion and other than the occasional scar, expressive triangular eyebrows or stubble beard, his skin is clear of obtrusions. Leeroy has natural dark thick curls, that he likes to keep to a short lenght. He rarely goes outside his apartment without having applied some eyeliner on his smoldering hazel eyes.

( short intro ) : Leeroy can read minds. Something that occasionally comes in handy, but let's be honest, if he could have chosen a mutant power for himself instead of being given one randomly, it's safe to say mind-reading would not have been his 1st, 2nd, or even 96th choice. So yeah, Leeroy's life thus far has been, to put it mildy, pretty ty.

( elaboration ) : The adrenaline rush he gets whenever getting himself into some kind of trouble, well he likes to see it as a "thrilling adventure'' is what he lives for, or so he claims. He likes to see himself as the adventurous type, though it might be leaning more towards recklessnes and just dumb luck, knowing that he can get himself out of trouble just as quick as he gets into it. He knows what to say and being able to read minds, does occasionally come in handy. Even if it, most of the time drives him nuts and wishes for nothing more than to be able to only hear his own thoughts.
Of course this can't be left unspoken as it basically sums him up for the people who don't know him at all. and yes even his close friends will call him out on his flirtatious behavior, but they know there is more to him than that. What suprises a lot of people is his supportive side, strangers or not, if leeroy sees the good intention behind it and it's something he can stand behind, he will show his support. He will however let everyone know his displeasure when it's something he's 100% against. He has the need to voice out his opinion and be understood by the people he's talking too. Besides he probably won't shut his mouth about it if he's really into it.

( background ) : Leeroy was born and raised in San francisco. where he grew up together with his four year older brother, Joshua, and his parents for most of the time. Being the youngest gave him enough freedom to keep him from rebelling. thus far his life was pretty good, if you don't count the occasional sibling fights and all the scolding he got from his parents when walking off on his own, exploring the envirorment.
it took a real turn when leeroy was around the age of 13, his brother, joshua was starting to act up against their father. Joshua was completely done with their father pushing him around, pressuring him and eventually it got too much so he told their father exactly what he thought of it. While all that went down at home, Leeroy was having his own personal breakdown as he knew his parents wouldn't be the least bit happy with him if they found out. When leeroy had his first crush on a boy at the age of eleven, it felt like his world was crashing down and slowly falling apart around him. He quickly dismissed the feelings and convinced himself he was imagining it. As he grew older he had his fair share of crushes on both genders, but always tended to lean more towards guys. over that time span, leeroy himself made peace with that part of him and accepted who he was. Telling his parents, especially his father wasn't an option yet. not until he was out of that house. Leeroy's father had a nasty temper, and while he never laid a finger on his wife or sons, he often would express exactly what he thought about the LGBT community, his mother shared her own opinion about that matter and he was grateful that at least one of his parents wouldn't straight up cut him out of their lives, if he ever decided to come out to them.
After the arguments got worse between joshua and their father, did joshua move out of the house to live in an apartment in san diego. Leeroy didn't blame him for leaving. The two brothers kept in contact with each other and Leeroy would occasionally go to Joshua and spent the weekend there, causing some disapproving looks from his father and worried, but reasuring looks from his mother. Joshua was the first to accidently find out that Leeroy was seeing some guy as he walked in on the two lip locking, when he had informed Leeroy that he wouldn't be back until the next morning. Leeroy didn't know how quickly the guy excussed himself, but not without whispering a 'call me later.' Something Leeroy didn't do. To leeroy's suprise Joshua was rather cool about it, they even talk about what happend for a little while, until there was nothing left to say about the topic. the last thing joshua said was 'next time warn me when you have someone over.'
Knowing his father would never react the way joshua did and just accept who he was, made leeroy decide that keeping it a secret was for the best. even thought his father expressed how he felt about it all, Leeroy had always been curious about what went on in his father's mind to think the way he did. Now it's something he would never have wished for. It all started at school, he was unable to concentrate in class and was constantly getting headaches. So when he was sitting in the living room, watching a movie. He was already dealing with a ginormous headache, so when his father walked inside and sat down in his chair not far from where Leeroy was sitting. He could feel his father's eyes on him, but decided to ignore it, until his father started to speak or so leeroy though he did. His mother didn't even bat an eye when his father said the word "disgusting". Leeroy eyed his father with a questionable look, before turning his attention back to the movie. A few minutes later his father continued, sounding more disgusted than ever."I didn't raise you to become like this!". This time Leeroy focused his attention toward his dad "Did you say something, dad?". Which his father didn't respond to, but Leeroy could still hear his father's voice saying "did you really think you could hide this from me?". Without thinking "Hide what from you, dad?" This caught his father of guard and even his mother was looking at the two in confusion. "no one was saying anything, sweetheart. are you feeling alright?" It didn't take long before his mother's thoughts came at him like a tidal wave. Leeroy quickly excused himself and went up to his room. The following two weeks were literally hell, Leeroy didn't get the chance to adjust and get used to his powers as the thoughts from people around him came to him, all at once. To make matters worse, his father decided that is was the perfect time to confront Leeroy with the secret, he so desperately wanted to hide from his father. Somehow his father found out about it and was very clear about the matter, he either get his act straightened out and stop it with his "gay" tendencies or to deal with the consequences and get kicked out of the house. When his mother found out about this, she was furious at her husband. His parents started to argue and fight even more and Leeroy knew it would only get worse from there and it was all this fault(or so he claims). That was probably the main reason why Leeroy decided to move out and live with his brother instead. This way Leeroy was able to start over again and actually just be who he is without having to worry about his father finding out. He still has to learn how to completely shut out someone else's thoughts, as some are louder than others.

"What's the problem? you like me, I like you. Let's burn some calories"
( what powers does your character have ) : telepaty, meaning that Leeroy is able to read or sense another person's thoughts, can communicate with them mentally. and can even affect someone's mind or thoughts. (he doesn't even have to be near them, as long as he can envision them he'll be able to hear their thoughts or communicate with them.) it'd be more appriciated, if it didn't drive me nuts
( how much does your character hate their power ) : imagine walking around, let's say through a crowded hallway. on top of all the noise everyone is already making, to understand his frustration you need to multiply that at least times 10 and that is basically what he'll hear when walking through it. all because of the ty thoughts, that those same people are letting run freely. He can't even sit with his friends without hearing what goes on in their minds. and Leeroy still hasn't learned how to tune them out completely. so that's basically what leeroy has to go through everyday. "It felt like the world woke up one morning and thought, you know what? this guy."
( how do you want your character to accept their power ) : when he is able to control his powers, so he doesn't have to deal with the massive headaches it causes him.

( meeting ) : the two met in high school. leeroy was a sophmore who just moved schools, while demyan, a year older, was a junior. He apparently caught Demyan's attention when walking passed each other and like said earlier some thoughts are louder than others. to be completely honest, Leeroy had already locked his eyes on Demyan, before the guy could even form those thoughts. so when he heard the new guy is hot all leeroy could do was try to hide the smile that was trying to form on his lips. Apparently he said it out loud as well, as one of, leeroy guessed a friend, said in all seriousness to demyan you should ask me out. That same day he decided to just go for it and walked over to demyan, who was now standing alone in front of his locker. When Demyan noticed who was standing next to him did he freeze for a good few seconds. Leeroy looked at demyan with a mischievous glint in his eyes before starting to speak you know, i heard you and your friend earlier and you should definitely ask me out. up until today they still have to go on that date, to his friend's disappointment, but the two did become best friends.
( interactions ) : let's just say they bring the best as well as the worst out of each other. it's quite obvious that the two like one another in more than just a best friend way. They are constantly trying to find or even create situations where they can spend time together and it's not a secret that the two are often coming on to each other, well the last one is mostly leeroy and Demyan is probably rolling his eyes for the most part, though he he can't help but to smile fondly afterwards. The two aren't afraid to express how they feel or what they think, since it would be useless to hide anything for long. even after knowing that they both have feelings for one another the two decided they aren't exclusive, well mostly leeroy, claiming that they better as each other's best friend. Demyan accepts it with a troubling mind and a line is drawn between them. Which this year, quickly goes through the window as they constantly end up in each other' arms. (drama drama drama)
