ELABORATION. First of all Joana is a vigorous and spirited person. She is quite the ball of energy to be around and doesn't seems to be able to stop or even pause when she's on a roll. So when people are really set on their personal space, they're gonna have quite some challenge there, to keep her from throwing in for some skinship. Whenever she talks, for most of the time, it isn't even 100% crap, in fact Joana is studious and enjoys learning new things, no matter how weird. Ask her whatever you like and she probably knows even the weirdest facts about that subject, as she has probably read it somewhere. Though she can be a pain in the , she cares for the other trainees she's competing with and is compassionate when some gets injured, embarrassed or eliminated. Often showing it through her rambling, lack of personal space or when they really give hints of not wanting either of those she'll do her best to sit still and just listen. Not guaranteeing it will last long, but long enough or she will probably just leave the room to give some kind of space. Since there are some things that need to be figured out on their own.

BACKGROUND. Joana was born and raised in New York, US. She comes from a remotely wealthy family, consisting of her father and mother, and two brothers and sister. Joana being the second youngest after her brother, Lucas. She grew up relatively happy, (everyone has their ups and downs.) She started ballet lessons at the age of five as she was always busy moving around on the rhythm of a tune/song, she'd heard on the radio or tv and that tune/song eventually got stuck in her head. Joana enjoyed everything about it, but wasn't always the most cooperative kid when she needed to be. besides come on a kid just want to have a good time. So it was after three years of ballet that she took up on Jazz and modern dance instead. The style just made her feel more comfortable and natural. How she was able to move more freely and was being able to put her real feelings into it. Her brother and eldest of the siblings was a fairly known dancer, specialty being hip hop and often would take Joana to practice or tournements where she learned quite a lot from. She discovered how deep her passion and love for dancing went when around sixteen or seventeen years old, after finding the courage to come out to her parents as biual. Which unfortunatly didn't go all that well. After coming out the one she expected to be the least hateful was Lucas, but he proofed her wrong and until now the two still aren't at speaking terms. It was her friends, Luis, her sister Noela and music that helped her grow her passion and had set a goal for herself to become a well known choreographer/dancer.

He still hasn't come to accept the whole coming out confession from Joana and they still have a long way to go before one of the two takes the first step into repairing their tarnished friendship.

They've always been neighbours and went to the same elementary as well as high school, only weren't in the same year. Even since at a young age the two were always found together, having a blast and even getting into trouble, because someone needed to prove something to one another. (nothing too dangerous tho. they didn't have bad influence on each other.) He was also the first one to know about her preference and who helped her out the most, emotionally. He was and still is her rock. Thomas has two sides when it comes to Joana, his highly affectionate side and his pain in the sarcastic side. The two often try to make time for each other and their outings are mostly consisting of them going to starbucks, getting curly fries or just simply practice together. Thomas always dreamed of starting his own dance camp/school, so when the opportunity came he grabbed it with both hands.

Her two roommates moved out when Joana and Thomas were looking for a place to rent back when the two were still in the US. Joana and Jaemi formed a close bond in such a short period of time that it looked like the two had known each other for years. Probably the most sane of the group even though she can be quite strange at times. what do you expect when having a bunch of weirdos as friends. Jaemi knows how to deal with Joana's lack of personal space and overall spirited personality and vice versa. Joana is forever grateful Jaemi didn't take it the wrong way when finding out she was bi. They often call each other when they aren't too busy and would talk about whatever is going on in their lives atm, about problems they were facing, boys, girls, the newest marvel movie and/or serie, or just random, even basic stuff. Jimin was rather impressed by her dancing skills, but couldn't hide his laughter after his shocked expression when seeing the makeup. Well after the small encounter he started to refer to Joana as raccoon and hasn't stopped since this day.

Somehow always ending up leading to the opposite direction everyone else thought would lead to. Either being all, encouring one another, teaming up together and flirting with each other (personal space??!what personal space?!) or completely ignoring the other, pushing each other as far away and arguing even harder. If there is one thing the two agree and enjoy the most it's their passion for dancing. It's not that weird to see the two practicing together or giving each other praises or some advice. Whenever Joana doesn't feel like talking to the girls/trainees, for some god damn reason she ends up knocking on Jimin's door and he even if they don't always get along, will listen to her rambles and vice versa.
