PERSONALITY
 ❛❛ OH BOY  to sum oh sehun up in a nutshell, it's that he's like a little kid, often taken care of and playing due to him usually being the youngest even though he may look older than his actual age. he can act pretty spoilt at times because of it yet at the same time, he can be very mature and generous depending on the situation and person with him acting like a much older figure—yes, he can be unpredictable at times (with a slight dash of oddness and craziness). upon your first meeting with him, he's often seen to act quite shy and timid, but once you get to know him more, you're able to see his true colours with him being quite vain (particularly in the looks department however, there are times when he would call himself 'ugly', and would 'secretly' expect someone to give him a positive response) in himself. sehun's also known to be passionate, affectionate and protective (to the extent of possessiveness at times) over the people and things whom he finds very important to him, and can get quite vulnerable if anything bad happens to either it or them. sehun's known to be someone who's straight-forward with things, and would usually say things as it is, and is not that afraid to express what he may want to reveal. another thing to know about him would be that what he wants, he gets, and he doesn't like to take no for an answer. he can also be pretty defensive when he's 'accused' or 'criticised' on something even though it may not necessarily be big, and may end up being given to complaining or arguing, or just plain ol' whining. in general though, oh sehun's usually a sweet, harmless, and not that intimidating (his poker face can sometimes be questionable) of a guy if you happen to not be on his bad side, but if you happen to be on his bad side, then he isn't the most engaging and nicest of people, and may cause trouble...

FIRST MEETING
 ❛❛ NOONA YOU'RE SO PRETTY  their first meeting was way back before they were even teenagers. they happened to have lived in the same neighbourhood so, they were bound to meet or at least spot each other at some point. hyeryung was just casually walking around the neighbourhood when she saw little oh sehun being 'bullied' of sorts by other kids, and he looked as though he was going to cry which triggered a 'motherly' side to her, and out of impulse, she went towards them, going, "do you have anything better to do than to treat him like that?!", and then telling them to get lost, or she'll tell their parents especially the ringleader of the whole thing, and that got them going. hyeryung went towards him, and asked,"are you alright? sorry about that; they can be out of hand at times". sehun just gawked at her—he was speechless and awe-strucked at the sight of her, and the best he could do in reply was to nod or shake his head. when he finally got his voice 'back', he explained that he and his family just moved to the area as well as introduced himself, telling her his name and age. after that, hyeryung ruffled his hair playfully and said, "nice meeting you, sehunnie! i'm hyeryung, and noona will be taking care of you from now on!" which brought a huge smile upon his face, and since that fateful encounter, they were pretty much stuck together by the hip, and the people in their neighbourhood would often see sehun following hyeryung like a lost puppy, and praising her as well as doing and giving anything to her whilst hyeryung would be there taking care of him and watching out for him well as though he was actually related to her...practically inseparable.

INTERACTIONS
 ❛❛ YOU AND I LOOK GOOD TOGETHER  they did just about everything together, and as they grew older, the two were often teased about them perhaps dating in the near future, even when they trained together under sm. it doesn't really help much-especially around family-when they were younger, sehun would repetitively say that he would marry her someday, and wouldn't let her date anyone unless it's him however, she didn't pay heed to it much for they were only young back then. from what looked like a cute sibling-like relationship, they now look like they have something 'more' going on. even when sehun became an idol as well as hyeryung ending up moving to a different entertainment company, they still remained ever so close. people can't help, but to sometimes get the wrong idea. their skinship with the two sometimes holding hands, linking arms, head on shoulder, the occasional carry and much much more gives others the thought they may be a couple however, they don't do it as publicly now due to sehun's status of being a top idol. they don't want such a huge scandal to form. even if you look at their text messages, you would think that there's something going on,especially from sehun's phone.

 ❛❛ WHATEVER YOU WANT, IMMA MAKE IT WORK  when they were younger, around more than 50% of the time, it would usually be hyeryung treating and spoiling sehun, but now, it seems to be sehun taking over this role. sehun's actually quite stingy with his own money, but when it comes to people like hyeryung, it's as though he has become an entirely whole new person. when he goes overseas or passes through shops,he would often go,"noona would like those." and would usually proceed to getting it for her, and would sometimes personally deliver it to her which never fails to make hyeryung feel touched that he still thinks of her despite his busy schedule as well as still remember all those little things she would tell him whilst growing up on what she liked and didn't like which happens to be the same for her with him. it's as though the two also have a sixth sense or sorts for they tend to be spot on when feeling as though there's something going on with the other. when they're on their breaks, they would sometimes secretly meet up and hang out. they sub-consciously end up doing romantic stuff like the 'jacket' thing and all. although they're not technically 'dating', it doesn't fail in sometimes making them flustered or nervous.
 ❛❛ DON'T MAKE FUN OF ME  besides from acting courteous and sweet to one another, another side of their relationship consists of them teasing and making fun of each other. usually, it's hyeryung who tends to be teased a lot the most, but she usually has her revenge on him in the form of 'hits' which sometimes would accidently leave a little bruise on him. they can also sometimes be caught bickering on the most trivial of matters which may sometimes be sprung up by jealousy. when they're mad at each other, they sometimes give each other the silent treatment, waiting for one of them to apologise, but it doesn't last long, and the two end up going back to their usual selves as if nothing has ever happened. the two rely and understand each other a lot due to them sharing similar interests and dreams where the two may make promises on to keep even if some may seem quite childish.
 ❛❛ YOU DON'T SEEM THAT YOUNG ANYMORE  the majority of the time sehun and hyeryung has known each other, she often looked at him as being like a younger brother and that's due to him sometimes whining, using aegyo on her. when sehun was about fifteen, he realised that his feelings towards hyeryung was moreso romantic, and would subtly hint to her on that however, she doesn't seem to pick up those hints and understand them properly, but recently, he has started acting more masculine, direct and informal towards her which she found cute, but at the very start, it did make things quite awkward. the other reason he was doing that? because he was aware that hyeryung was more interested in the older 'oppa' types. even though sehun feels as though in the past, hyeryung didn't receive those hints well, she actually did understand some however, she was unsure whether to return those feelings back, but these days, she's been thinking and considering about it again, and more and more, and she may just end up accepting him after all...they're shipped hard by those who have watched them grow up (or seen their visuals together during 'ivy club', and if the two are thought of to be sickeningly sweet, loyal and cute now, just think what they'd be like if they end up dating, and believe me, there have been moments when the two would be so close to kissing and such.

CURRENT RELATIONSHIP STATUS close noona-dongsaeng relationship (even though the between them's only about a year) which may lead to dating.

INTRODUCE YOURSELF (/just stays still, looking directly and quite blankly into the camera before for a bit before the pd informs her that they're already filming.) oh, it's already filming? (/lets out a sheepish laugh out of embarassment whilst looking down her lap slightly,lightly tugging the sleeves of her jumber due to nervousness.) i'm sorry; that was embarassing! (/bows her head slightly to apologise before scratching the back of her neck.) i'm not usually like this-i think-hehehe. hello, baby-faced and refreshing aphrodite baek hyeryung slash kathryn slash 'the ivy club girl' here; it's a pleasure to meet you all! (/smiles brightly whilst waving both her hands to the camera.) please look out for me! i'll work hard! fighting! (/does the gesture cutely before breaking into a small fit of dorky laughter.) 
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT PARTICIPATING IN KAROSHI? (/sub-consciously looks up to the ceiling whilst thinking of the right words to say.) truly, i feel very honoured and blessed. (/nods head whilst speaking.) the reason being is that i'm 22 years old (/pd and editors add the shocked audience sound effect.) so, i'm about the eldest or one of the eldest here. the many groups that have debuted end up being younger and younger so, i thought chances of debuting would be near impossible, but i've been given this chance, and i'll do my very best to show everyone my potential, and not take this chance for granted (/smiles softly.) i hope i'll be able to succeed in doing that. besides from that, i feel really nervous...yet really excited like most of the other girls here.
IF YOU BECOME A MEMBER OF ALATE, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL? words wouldn't be able to describe how i would feel if i ended up being chosen as a member; it would be a dream come true since i would have then accomplished a long-held goal of mine. i think a lot of overwhelmed emotions would occur. i really want to have my friends and family look at me with a proud expression on their faces especially my parents; i really want to, um, prove them that all the training i've done hasn't gone to waste as well as to fulfil a promise to a dear friend of mine that we may be able to fulfil our dreams together  (/whilst talking, started reminiscing and thinking of it which ends up causing hyeryung to get a bit emotional with her voice becoming quite shaky and eyes a bit more dewy.) yeah, i think that's how i would feel! (/smiles and laughs fondly, shaking off her 'emotional' side that was tempted to make a show.)
WHO IS/ARE YOUR INSPIRATION(S) OR ROLE MODEL(S)? 
 (/blinks.) i have a lot of role models and inspirations in my life though...this may take a while...well, there's—i'm kidding (/laughs.) ! yeah, i do have a lot, but i think my biggest inspiration, the one who made me want to get into this kind of career would have to be boa sunbaenim; i grew up having seen her perform on the television, and the hardships and success she went through...i just really admire her...the first concert i ever attended was hers, and the experience was unforgettable (/sighs fondly at the memory.) ; i hope to achieve something similar to her. i even saw her once in the s—oh, going a bit off-topic there! but really, i find her to be an amazing and talented woman. my much bigger role models would have to be...my grandparents? they raised me and my older brother up whilst our parents were busy with work abroad, and they have taught me many things like how to live life properly, and they helped me along the way especially with convincing the 'parents' (/chuckles.) i really want to thank them! (/looks more sincerly into the camera.) thank you;  i wouldn't know what i'd do or where i'd be without you. i love you! (/lets out a chime of laughter before making a heart over her head.) thank you so so much!
