 APPEARANCE    

❄ "SNOW PETAL" — hana has blue eyes and black waist-length  hair which is tied with two red ribbons by each shoulder or let down lose, she changes the way she styles her hair every now and then. though a lot of people say hana is pretty, she consideres herslef to be average. Average weight, average height and average body, as she doesn't have many curves. though she may look cold and hard to approach due to her strong look, she's actually quite friendly. 

❄ "HATING THE COLD, BUT LOVING THE WINTER CLOTHES" — hana's wardobe consists mostly of winter clothing, since she lives in the coldest place in sinnoh and she actually finds winter clothing to be more comfortable than other any other clothing, except pajamas.hana owns a huge collection of scarfs in possibly every single color in existance. she also owns a large amount of coats because winter. As for the bottom part of her body, she either wears pleated skirts or leggings; whatever is most comforable for her at the moment. For shoes, it's mostly tennis shoes or boots, either high heeld or not. (mostly not high heeled);; ( ❄ ❄ )

❄ "DREAMS DON'T WORK UNLESS YOU DO" — hana is quite a hardworking person, if she sets her mind on something, she won't give up until she achieves it. her parents didn't allow her to become a pokemon trainer until she was around fifteen, but that didn't stop her from learning about pokemon. she worked with snowpoint's gym leader to learn all she could about ice pokemon and all the pokemon that went to challenge that gym along with their trainers. once she was able to go out and explore sinnoh, she worked really hard to beat all the gym leaders so she could achieve her dream of challenging the elite four. it wasn't easy, no. but she has always believed that if you wish something and you work hard enough to get it, it'll come true.
❄ "THE QUIETER YOU BECOME, THE MORE YOU CAN HEAR" — hana spent most of her childhood with not many friends; there were perhaps two or three children in the city around her age she could play with, so she learned to play by herself in case the other kids weren't available. as a consecuence, hana doesn't do well when in large groups of people. she can do well and in fact likes one on one conversations, or small groups. but she starts feeling uneasy when too many people arrive, since she doesn't like it when it's too crowded. if too many people are at the same place as she is, she'll just observe them. that she loves to do. since she doesn't talk much when people are in groups, she likes to observe them, paying close attention to everything. a friend has told her people think it's weird when she stares, but she doesn't really care. 
❄ "I JUST SPEAK WHAT'S ON MY MIND" — you know that little voice in your head that  that tells you not to say something or to say it in a kinder way? well, hana doesn't really have it. if she thinks something about you, she'll most likely say it to your face, just the way it is, no matter how harsh it sounds. very few people like to be told the truth to their faces, so a lot of people would get mad and stop talking to her. that's why she started to hide her emotions and thoughts from unknown people, so that they wouldn't judge her. when you meet her, she'll most likely remain quiet most of the time, in fear she'll offend you. don't think she doesn't talk though. once you become close to her, she's actually quite talkative. if she's with friends, she'll probably be very straightforward about things, and some of her friends find it funny, some don't like it and others don't mind. they just accept her the way she is.
❄ "HAVE YOU SEEN MY POKE-BALLS?" — sadly, hana is one of the most forgetful and clumsy people you'll ever meet. her parents always nagged her because she'd often forget to pack lunch for her trips with candice, or when she forgot to pick up something her mother asked her to. the thing is that hana doesn't really pay much attention to her parents because she's always thinking of something else, being in her own perfect world where she is a pokemon trainer, and her parents hated that. when she left to explore the region, she had to double-check if she was in the right route, because she'd often forget where she was going or what was the way. thank arceus for the signs on the road tho. 
perhaps because she's so absentminded, she can be pretty gullible too. if you tell her something, she'll most likely believe it, even if it's a lie, that is because she trusts people too easily and can't see when she's being lied to, which can end up badly sometimes.
❄ "GET TO KNOW THE REAL ME" — altough hana can be seen as hostile or to quiet for her own good; that's only when strangers are around, or if she's not comfortable with you. with her friends, she's more talkative and laughs a lot. she's always caring for her friends, asking them if they've eaten or how they are feeling. many people don't know that side of her, as they think she's a cold hearted champion that only cares about herself. people that stick around enough to get to know her, notice she's actually quite random sometimes, and a bit weird. she's also very stubborn, if she thinks she's right about something or is sure about something, it'll be terribly hard to make her change her mind about it, doesn't matter if she's wrong. there's more to her than what meets the eye, but most people don't get to see what that is.

 

❄ "THE BEGINNING" — yukimura hana was born in snowpoint city, a place with only 33 inhabitants, to a lovely couple. she was the only daughter of the Fujioka family, so she grew up a bit lonely, that and the fact that only 30 people live there. hana always loved pokemon since she was young, as she was surrounded by them. her mother had a glaceon who she played with all the time, and his father had a rhyperior who helped him with his job at the s.s spiral. hana's dream was to be a pokemon trainer, but her parents were against it, since they didn't want her to leave her home at such a young age. she got mad at them for not letting her to even own a pokemon, since they said it was too dangerous, but she let go of it after a few months.

❄ "MY OWN ADVENTURE" — quite a few years passed, and hana became close friends with candice, snowpoint's gym leader. hana became her assistant and helped her take care of her pokemon, as she thought that was the only way she'd get to play with pokemon that weren't her parents'. one day, when she was fifteen, she was exploring the acuity lakefront with candice and she came in contact with a snover, who followed her around all day. candice told her that she should capture it, that it was time she got her own pokemon. hana listened and captured the snover and took him home. her parents were upset at first, since she didn't tell them in advance; but they agreed he was old enough. that's when she told them she wanted to be a trainer and was going to leave, this time, they accepted her descision. that's how her adventure began.

 

❄ Her first pokemon team was entirely made of ice type pokemon: snover, sneasel, swinub, smoochum, delibird and snorunt. That's how she got the ice shard nickname.
❄ Often calls people by other names, since she has a hard time remembering them.
❄ Her favorite color is blue.
❄ Hana can't stand bug type pokemon, she's either afraid of them or finds them disgusting.
❄ Has a terrible sense of direction, therefore can get lost quite easily. (it's an actual mystery how she managed to explore sinnoh tbh)
❄ Prefers the company of pokemon over people.
❄ She didn't learn how to ride a bike until she left snowpoint, since you can't use bikes there due to the thick snow layer.
❄ Hana isn't a good swimmer either, so she avoids deep water. (where her feer don't touch the ground)
❄ Her default expression makes her look bored or annoyed most of the time.
❄ When nervous or awkward, she plays with strands of her hair.
❄ Her dream is to travel to diffenret regions and meet all kind of different pokemon.

❄ Although she could live anywhere in sinnoh now that she defeated the elite four, she continues to live and spend most of her time in snowpoint.
❄ Since there are not many things to do up there in the mountains, she learned how to knit. 
❄ Also knows how to fish since Lake Acuity is nearby.
❄ Likes go to to Mt. Coronet to explore (again, it's a mystery how she hasn't gotten lost inside that place)
 

 TYPE      grass - ice (frost tree pokémon)

 NICKNAME  snow (えそのう); she called him like this even when he was still a snover since she found it cute.

 GENDER    male

 ABILITY   snow warning; snow warning creates a hailstorm when the ability-bearer enters battle.

 MOVESET   snow punch (ice), wood hammer (grass), ingrain (grass), earthquake (ground)

 

 MEETING   hana and candice, snowpoint city's gym leader went exploring the acuity lakefront and while there, candince noticed a snover had been following them, particulary staying close to hana. they approached the pokemon and played with him for a while; when it was time to go, the snover once again followed them, wanting to go with them. hana had always liked snovers and with encouragement and a pokeball from candice, she captured the snover and took him home. once home, she let him out of his pokeball and they hung out more; she knew they'd be great friends. 
 REASON    snow is her alpha because he is the strongest out of all of her pokemon, besides, they have a stronger bond that she doesn't have with the rest of her pokemon, as he was her first pokemon.

❄ hana likes to hug him when it's very cold, even if he doesn't want to.
❄ he spends most of his time out of his pokeball because he got used to it while he was still a snover.
❄ can be quite grumpy. if he gets mad at hana, he can dissapear into the mountains for a few days before coming back.

 TYPE      dark (moonlight pokemon)

 NICKNAME  eon (えおん); it came up after the fact that she was to lazy to say his full name, plus she finds it more fitting. (all eeveelutions are -eon so, yeah) 

 GENDER    male

 ABILITY   synchronize; if the opponent causes a burn, paralysis, or poisoning of a Pokémon with synchronize, the opponent receives the status condition too.

 MOVESET   moonlight (fairy), feint attack (dark), dark pulse (dark), confuse ray (ghost)

 

 MEETING   hana and umbreon met while he was still an eevee. he was given to her by a girl named bebe in hearthome city while she was there, getting her fifth gym badge. she was really happy to her an eevee, as there are no eevees in sinnoh. she promised to take good care of him and that's how their friendship began.

 REASON    although he was not one of hana's first pokemons, umbreon is very loyal and he listens to hana's instructions, therefore he earned his place as the beta.

❄ just like snow, umbreon sometimes leaves at night to be alone, he always comes back before dawn, though.

❄ umbreon loves hana, he would even give his life for his dear trainer.
❄ doesn't really like other trainers, so you have to be careful if you're going to approach him.
❄ loves oran berries.
❄ the only one of the team who can still be out of his pokeball all the time, since he remained small.

 TYPE      psychic - fairy (embrace pokemon)

 NICKNAME  aira (愛ら); from the japanese word airashi (愛らしい) meaning adorable. she always found gardevoir adorable, ever since she was a ralts.

 GENDER    female

 ABILITY   synchronize; if the opponent causes a burn, paralysis, or poisoning of a Pokémon with synchronize, the opponent receives the status condition too.

 MOVESET   psychic (psychic), moonblast (fairy), psyshock (psychic), dazzling gleam (fairy)

 

 MEETING   hana met gardevoir (ralts, at that time) when she was on her way to hearthome city for her gym badge. she found ralts to be absolutely adorale and she knew she had to have her (even thought snover got jealous of ralts' cuteness). aparently, ralts liked her too, because it wasn't really difficult to catch her.

 REASON    gardevoir, just like umbreon and abomasnow, is very loyal to hana, she never hesitates to help as she can and is always there to pacify the rest of the team. she is also the second strongests on the team.
 TRIVIA   

❄ gardevoir and hana have a special connection, if hana is sad, gardevoir can tell and will try to cheer her trainer up.
❄ gardevior is like the mother of the team, always looking up for everyone even snow who doesn't like anyone.
❄ just like snow, she's doesn't like to be on her pokeball, since she got used to being out at home with hana and the rest. she's out more than snow, though. since she's not too big. 
❄ gardevoir tends to act very human-like, at the point she even helps cleaning the house.

 TYPE      water - ice (transport pokemon)
 NICKNAME  akua (アクア); meaning aqua in japanese. she nicknamed her like that because of her blue skin color and because water pokemon.

 GENDER    female

 ABILITY   shell armor; prevents the Pokémon from receiving a critical hit.
 MOVESET   ice beam (ice), body slam (normal), freeze-dry (ice), hydro pump (water)

 

 MEETING   lapras was a gift to hana from his father. her father had gone to kanto to check on the s.s aqua, the region's ferry. while there, her father managed to capture a lapras and he immediately thought of giving it to his daughter. when he returned, he met with her at canalove city, where hana was heading to challenge the gym leader. when they met, he gave lapras to her and she was absolutely happy to recieve her. hana let lapras out of her pokeball and she looked a bit confused as to where she was. she wasn't trusting of hana at first, but when she learned how she was, she started liking her.

 REASON    lapras is a very useful asset (and member) of the team, she's a very strong and loyal pokemon, besides, she's the only one she can cross lakes, seas and rivers with.

❄ lapras is super sweet towards the whole team, always carrying them around on her back.
❄ loves to play with children.
❄ lapras didn't like hana at first, but she grew fond of her in time.
❄ champion and owner of the beauty master ribbon on sinnoh's special contest.
❄ loves to go swimming with hana and other pokemon.
❄ when in deep waters, since hana can't swim well, lapras carries her arround.

 TYPE      fire (legendary pokemon)

 NICKNAME  moesashi (燃えさし); japanese for ember because fire pokemon. 

 GENDER    male

 ABILITY   intimidate; lower's the Attack of all opponents by one stage when the ability-bearer switches in

 MOVESET   fire fang (fire), fire blast (fire), iron tail (steel), close combat (fighting)

 

 MEETING   hana got arcanine (back then, growlithe) when he traded him for a shinx with a traveler from another region. growlithe was very young and seemed to be full of energy. she knew at that moment that it'd be hard to train him if he was always like this.

 REASON    arcanine adds strenght to the group, since it lacked a fire type. he is also very lively and strong, which makes him an amazing pokemon.

❄ item: charcoal (increases the power of Fire-type moves.)
❄ since snow is cold most of the time and doesn't like to cuddle, hana will go and cuddle with arcananie even thought make him jealous. 
❄ arcanine loves to go out and play in the snow since he's never cold.
❄ arcanine is always bothering snow, that's why snow doesn't like him. 
❄ he is the newest member of the team.
❄ hana sometimes "rides him into battle" when they go hiking and it's too snowy.

 TYPE      ice - ghost (snow land pokemon)

 NICKNAME  yuki (ユキ); hana is not very creative when it comes to nicknames, so she came up with yuki, japanese word for snow, since amobasnow's nickname was already snow; besides, yuki sounds girlish while snow doesn't so much.

 GENDER    female

 ABILITY   snow cloak;  raises ability-bearer's evasion by 20% in a hail storm.

 MOVESET   blizzard (ice), shadow ball (ghost), ice beam (ice), omnious wind (ghost)

 

 MEETING   while heading back to snowpoint city via route 217, hana encountered a lonenly snorunt, which was weird, since snorunts travel in packs. she waited with him on the snowy path for a while, but no pack returned; the snorunt was scared, so she decided to take her home with her. snorunt loved her house and didn't want to leave, so she captured it and she became part of the team.

 REASON    froslass is a strong pokemon, and hana also likes ice types a lot, so she decided to add her to the team, so there could be two ice types.

❄ when snow goes away, froslass sometimes joins him to make sure he's okay.
❄ bffs with gardevoir
❄ she's very motherly, just like gardevoir. that's why they get along. 
❄ loves to go get berries with hana. her favorites are the babiri berries.
❄ when she was a snorunt, she always cuddled with snow (since he evolved first)
