APPEARANCE ♡ Soohyun's hair is quite long, as it reaches just the middle of her back.  She dyed her hair light brown for a few months, but decided to stick with her natural dark color, so she changed it back. Then, after a few more months, she decided to dye it back, this time to a redish brown- that's her current hair color. Soohyun doesn't have an amazing body figure some girls would kill to have, she's actually a bit flat chested and pretty much curveless, but she's happy the way she is. She was always the skinny type of girl, but after joining the company, they made her work out and diet so that she could get some curves. Soohyun weights 49 kg and stands 162 cm tall, which is also quite average in Korea. She also has a small tattoo on her left side of her ribs that says "n'abandonne jamais.", almost no one has seen it because she covers it up with make up most of the time as sm says it's not good for her image to have a tattoo. 

STYLE ♡ Soohyun loves wearing high waisted shorts, skirts or jeans. She also loves wearing loose shirts or cropped ones, so you'll see her wearing a combination of both most of the time. She has a big collection of high heels because she just loves to wear them even if it makes her look taller than everyone else- wich is never the case since she's short in comparison to most people. She also owns a huge collection of casual dresses, she doesn't wear them a lot though. She says they're for special occations. Her favorite colors to wear are definitely pastel colors, as she thinks they look clasier than the flashy, bright ones. At the dorm or practice room she wears comfy clothes so that she can relax or train without feeling uncomfortable.

(+) "i am determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation i may find myself"
soohyun has never been able to explain why, but she's happy most of the time. if something bad happens to her, she'll try to think of the positive things that could come from that problem and that way she won't sulk. she hates to see people sad, so if she sees a sad person, she'd try her best to make them smile and cheer them up. soohyun loves to help people and animals around her alike, and she doesn't need any payment as she feels the gratitude of the individual is enough.

(+) "my mom and i are, in many ways, quite similar. we're both creative, gregarious and energetic"
soohyun is a person who's always looking for something to do, as she has much energy within herself. her mother and her are alike in that aspect; her mother could visit five or more patients a day and still wouldn't be tired, because she loved what she did. same thing happens with soohyun; as long as she's doing something she enjoys, or that knows will help someone in dispair, she'll have the energy and willpower to do it.

soohyun grew up with very few friends because, even thought she was friendly with everyone and didn't have a hard time at making friends, people would walk away because of some things she'd say. you see, soohyun doesn't really have that filter that tells you not to say something or to say it in a kinder way; if she thinks something about you, she'll most likely say it to your face, just the way it is, no matter how harsh it sounds. very few people like to be told the truth to their faces, so they would stop talking to her. since soohyun is pretty talkative, you never know what she might say, but few of her closest friends have adquired the ability to detect when she's going to say something people find offensive and they quickly change the topic or shut her up.

sadly, soohyun is one of the most forgetful and clumsy people you'll ever meet. her parents always nagged her because she'd often forget her lunch or school projects at home. the thing is that soohyun doesn't really pay much attention to her parents because she's always thinking of something else, being in her own perfect world, and her parents hated that. perhaps because she's so absentminded, she can be pretty gullible too. if you tell her something, she'll most likely believe it, even if it's a lie, that is because she trusts people too easily and can't see when she's being lied to, which can end up badly sometimes.

soohyun has one flaw that she hates about herself, but no matter what she does, cannot change: she's a coward. be it watching a horror movie, confessing her love to someone or confronting people and/or problems, she just panics, she absolutely hates it. that's why she was bullied at school sometimes, because she wouldn't do anything to stop the bullies. her parents and her brother tried to help her overcome her cowardness, but they were never able to. 

(-) "i try not to be resentful, i really do, but i just can't bring myself to do it"
another major flaw that mia has is her resentfullnes. yes, she's sunshine and rainbows most of the time; but prevent yourself from doing anything harmful towards her in any way, as there is a big chance she won't forgive you for it and she'll never speak to you again. soohyun has lost many friends do to her resentfulness, sometimes she regrets it, but she remembers something they did to her and the anger comes back. it's not like she'll yell at them, 'cause she's afraid of how they'll react, but instead she'll just ignore them until they cease to contact her.

   THERE'S MORE TO YOU THAN MEETS THE EYE...

PAST ♡ soohyun was born at the hôpital du sacré-coeur, or sacred heart hospital in english, in the city of montréal, canada. she was the second daughter of the lee family. her brother minho being three years older than her. 

her father was part prestigious law firm in montréal, so her family lived a pretty comfortable life. her mother was a veterinarian who dedicated all her time in taking care of sick animals at the plateau mont royal veterinary clinic. soohyun always admired what her mother did and she promised she would be just like her when she grew up. 
soohyun did well in school, and even thought she wasn't the best, she never failed any subject; in the afternoons, soohyun would go and hang out with her friends, who would call her ''élise', her english name given by her canadian family, since they said it was easier to pronounce than her korean name and it fit her well.

in 2005, when soohyun was 11 years old, his father was offered a better job back in his home country, korea- so the whole family moved to seoul that year. at first, it was a bit hard for soohyun and her brother to adapt to their new home, since they weren't fluent enough to comunicate with people, but after a few months, they started to like the place.

since soohyun liked to sing since she was young and grew up watching korean idols, she decided she wanted to become one. she prepared a lot and when she felt like she was ready, she auditioned. soohyun auditioned for sm entertainment in the 2010 auditions held in seoul. she was very nervous that day, because  because she could see and hear that there were people there that were tremendously talented.
soohyun sang "because of you"by kelly clarkson as her audition song and she passed all the rounds, making her one of the few people that were selected to be part of sm in the seoul audition; she was completely happy.

PRESENT ♡

After two years of being a trainee and doing most of the same things every day, Soohyun decided to create a schedule in order to have time for everything. As it isn't fun to sit around the dorm all day, Soohyun goes out as much as possible. Soohyun wakes up very early in the morning to go and have a morning run around the neighborhood, then she goes to the company to practice everyday for as long as she's told, if the day's schedule isn't too busy, she'll try to hang out with her friends or maybe just go out to have some fresh air and enjoy the city. Her bedroom looks like this, by the way:

After debuting her schedule changed quite a bit, as she doesn't have as much time off as she used to. 

Her new daily routine includes going to the company at early hours and sometimes leaving very late, practicing her vocals a long time, since the company wants her to do musicals soon. By the time she goes back home, she's normally exhausted. She nevers goes to sleep before doing her skincare routine, though. What does she do for her skin? Well first, she removes her makeup with Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes. If she has lots of eye makeup on, she'll remove it with the Liquid Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover. Afterwards, she washes her face with Caudalíe's Gentle Cleanser. After washing her face, she applies The Body Shop's Tea Tree Toner to refresh her skin. When she's done, she finally starts applying her skin care products; she applies a Caudalíe Serum to hydrate her skin. To finish the night routine, she applies a Caudalíe Moisturizing cream. After she's finally done, she goes to sleep.

Her morning skincare routine isn't as long, though. as she doesn't like wasting much time. First, she applies Avéne's Cleansing Cream and then she washes her face. If she's feeling lazy, she'll use The Face Shop's Rice Cleansing Milk instead of washing her face, since it's faster. Afterwards, she applies Skin Food's Peach Sake Serum since it helps with makeup. Once she's done, she applies La Roche-Posay's Effaclair Duo to prevent any acne from coming out. Finally, as the final layer of moisturization, she uses Etude House's Collagen Moistufull Emulsion. And then, she's ready to go.

TRAINEE BACKGROUND ♡ 

Her trainee years were pretty average. she'd go to school and as soon as she finished school, she'd go to sm and practice really hard only to go back home late at night to finish her homework. it was pretty tiring at first but she got used to it. after a while, she got overstresed and started eating less and less, that's why her parents got worried and decided it was best for her to leave that agency. she declined and decided to orgazine herself so that her parents wouldn't worry anymore, and so she did. She got the weight she lost back and developed a better body type. Soohyun would always try to be on time to practice, so she could leave on time, giving her time to do other things.

As for the training part, she'd practice very hard every day, trying to improve her dance skills who were close to horrible. After all the efforts, she was finally able to dance decently, but still had a hard time learning the difficult steps. When it came to singing, the training wasn't so intense, because her voice was decent, she just needed to fix some details here and there, but she still had to practice everyday. With time, she got really good at both singing and dancing, her teachers saying she had a natural talent. Singing was her best asset, though. There were way better dancers in the company that she could ever hope. 

After two years in the company, she was called out to the chairman's office; she couldn't hope to debut, as she had been on the company for only two years and there were people with far more experience than her, she was surprised when she was told she'd be debuting, though. Completely and utterly surprised, but at the same time happy; her dream would finally come true.

NICKNAMES ♡  PERSONALITY ♡ There's no specific word to describe Hongbin, he's just...Special.  When you meet him at first, he's super quiet and awkward, he'll just talk to you if completely necesary, so don't expect much from him if you're not friends. Also, he's super awkward with girls, so if you're a girl, it'll be even more hard for him to aproach you.
Once he opens up though, it's a complete different story: He's a very goofy guy that loves skinship, loves to make people laugh and is a complete sweetheart. Hongbin gets easily excited, therefore he's happy most of the time. He's a very loving guy who likes to treat everyone in a nice way.
Hongin loves to smile and to make people smile as well, also, he's very calm and will help to solve any situation as peacefully as possible, without anyone getting harmed. He's also a very hardorking person and he tries his best to make everything as perfectly as possible.
When he likes a girl he tries to get her attention as much as possible, but not in a loud or scandalous way, but with little details here and there, so that she feels special and not just like any other girl.

FIRST MEETING ♡ Soohyun and Hongbin met after fruits basket debuted; Hongbin was a special mc for a music show they were in/ was performing that night as well. (you can decide on that one)
when fruits' basket finished performing and were returning to their dressing room, soohyun decided to stop and take a selca of the back of the stage, because why not? when she finished, she noticed the rest weren't there anymore and she didn't really pay attention to where the dressing rooms were. 

she was about to panic when someone tapped her shoulder. she turned around and found jaebum standing there with another vixx member. hongbin finally offered her to take her to where her dressing room may be and she accepted, feeling completly awkward because she thought he looked even more handsome in real life. all the way to the dressing room, they had the most awkward conversation anyone could imagine because for the first time in her life she didn't really know what to say.

once on the dressing room, she thanked him and he left. she sighed in relief and was about to go inside when she felt someone tap her shoulder again. "this may come off as creepy, but can i have your number?" he said. she was surprised, but she still nodded and gave it to him. "let's hang out sometime, okay? i'll text you" and with that, he ran, leaving soohyun in a daze.
she walked inside the dressing room and told the other members what had just happened, still not believing it herself.

RELATIONSHIP ♡ Hongbin and Soohyun are very awkward around each other, but not because they're not close, but because they both like each other. Actually, ever since that time when he texted her to hang out, they started texting each other almost every day, but since because they're both very busy, they can't see each other. They'll sometimes do videocalls, but that's not very common because they think it's awkward to talk that way, which is ironic because it's awkward for them to even talk in real life. 

Hongbin is always trying to make Soohyun smile, whether it is by saying compliments to her or by making her laugh.
Like stated before, whenever they meet in person, they're pretty awkward, but not in a "the air around here is so thick oh my god this is so awkward" way, but in a cute way, like, he stutters when he speaks and she just blushes a lot, making people tease them because of that.  And while it's quite obvious that they like each other, none of them has had the courage to confess.
