yang siah could've been a better person in general i suppose, if she weren't the middle child of the family. come to think about it, when her parents chose to attend some stupid and random debate competition of yang jaesoo instead of checking on her, who fainted during a p.e. lesson, how much could siah even expect from her parents? yes, being not so outstanding comparing to her brothers was indeed, her fault, but is being a girl her fault? no. yet, this is one very big obstacle of her parents trying to like her as much as her brothers which brought up yang siah, as a person, the one you see now. generally, siah's an outgoing girl who gives out a welcoming vibe to everyone around her because she knows how much it hurts being ignored very well. siah's always smiling, and she has the great ability of keeping herself happy and positive all the time. since young, she was self-taught by the principal that time won't wait for her, so instead of sulking and do nothing during the day, she should instead, do something meaningful and stay happy. siah treats everyone fairly with a pair of warm arms that people grow to like siah very quick and siah appears very loving, especially in front of seniors. siah is sort of in charge of the happy atmosphere among her peers and everyone seems to be so used to only siah's smile, but never her frown face.

because yang siah basically spent most of her lifetime observing her parents' tiny trivias in order to get more father/mother love for herself, siah is quite good at observing little details of people around her. though she doesn't have the tendency to observe people, siah is able to do so if she intended to. anyhows, siah is quite the heedful and attentive girl, unlike how she usually portraits herself as; or how people expect her to be. as the happy virus of her group of friends, siah slowly, developed a sense of humor as she mostly hanged out with a group of easy-going and fun friends. siah too, could be very jocular and comical at times, spilling on-point gags or jokes, making fun of herself without caring a bit, or even doing body jokes, in public areas. siah uses her humor sense to catch people's attention too, but with her loudness, she's actually taking many attention from people already. siah is also famous for her cheekiness. brought up not easily giving up with her parents' coldness, siah has become rather brazen around people. because she hardly ever gives up once she's made up her mind, siah doesn't really know the correct time to stop and results in her famous cheekiness that's known among even people not that close with her. though sometime, it's a good thing for yang siah when she just views the negative comments as positive ones with her cheekiness and keep herself happy. siah is not the most patient one in the group. siah's limit is around two minutes? siah can't bear the duration of waiting, and would impatiently asks about it every two minutes, especially under bad conditions. one good example would be queuing for a ride in the amusement park. when siah sees the long queue, she would rather not to take the ride. if she were kidnapped queuing up for it, you can hear siah's impatient questions 'when is it? are we going to go for it? still?' every two minutes. yet, siah herself has very high requirements for herself. she makes sure she does one thing with 100% effort and becomes a total perfectionist when it comes to her own business. since she was always trying to impress her parents, she has to spur on herself all the time in order to reach the best for her parents. she is extremely critical on herself, and would easily got frustrated due to her not-so-satisfactory performance.

born on june 10, 1996, siah is born as the second child, first daughter, and future middle child of the yang family. since young, siah is probably the child who got the least attention from her parents due to two reasons- she's a girl, and she's the middle child. hence, siah is brought a bit attention-seeking, too much perhaps; but that's how she survived all these years. though her two siblings treated her like the queen and are extremely protective of their only female sibling, siah still feels empty without much parents' love she's received comparing to her two outstanding brothers. yes, both myungsoo and jaesoo did much better than her at school, not even joking- myungsoo's the typical popular cold guy of the school, whilst jaesoo's the core of the school debate team and swimming team. siah's too, popular at school, absolutely because of her two brothers. and all these result in siah's natural insecurity and why she's so critical for herself all the times. she wants to do better, for the sake of her parents and just to make herself at least looks better with her two great siblings. fortunately siah is not a pessimistic girl, she energizes herself to work harder with her negative thoughts when it comes to her two siblings. if you ask her whether she dislikes her siblings at all, siah would shake her head without a doubt. the fact was that she dislikes her parents more since they were the people that made her relationship with her other siblings tense (it was one-sided, though), and siah was actually happy that they never isolate her or anything like that. other than the unseen pressure she received from siah's surrounding, siah generally had a really great childhood, as her family is considered rather wealthy, with her parents' business.
during the journey of 'yang siah finding other unique talents that her siblings don't own or haven't and probably wouldn't showcase yet', siah discovered her interest for singing. it was due to the frequent visit to the karaoke near the school. with the accompany of her best friend, siah signed up for the school choir. her parents could've cared less, considering they didn't even need to pay fees. siah enjoyed every moment of singing, despite the repetitive criticisms or the endless practices that test your patience all the times, siah never failed to attend trainings except sick leaves. one reason siah likes singing was because she sings the best among her siblings; and the other reason would be she could express her thoughts through singing and it helps relief her stress in daily life. it was siah's second year in middle school when she was accepted by pledis entertainment. back in 2011, when siah almost turned 14, she was brought to the yedang building forcefully by her best friend, lee hyunah. yedang was introduced to hyunah through some mutual friends so hyunah made siah accompanying her auditioning for yedang. not wanting to waste such a chance, siah prepared a bit for the audition and turned out both girls were accepted by yedang. little did siah knows, siah was accepted 50% because of her dance 50% because of her face. but she could've cared less, no matter what, she was accepted anyway. as siah happily announced the news of being accepted by yedang to her family, siah swears, it's the first time her parents properly praise her for her real strengths, and not brushing her off.

siah's interactions with her parents respectively are pretty the same so i'll include everything in one paragraph. basically, siah doesn't have much interactions with her parents because whenever she tries to start a conversation with them, they'll just head down to their business and answer siah's words in not more than ten words. even with siah's cheekiness, she's often frustrated by her parents' coldness so she'd rather not starting a conversation with them as time passed. usually, their conversation are mostly about brief concerns for each other's lives, and siah's parents' concerns of siah increased after siah started her training life under yedang. junhong and seungyeon wouldn't hesitate admitting their uneven love for their children, but nonetheless, they're still siah's parents afterall; and they do care about yang siah, only not that obvious and much.
elder brother / yang myungsoo 양명수 / 21 / college student; year three student
being yang myungsoo's little sister, myungsoo is quite protective of siah, and his brother complex is famous throughout the school, alongside his handsome face and according popularity. siah likes myungsoo quite a lot, because she gets advantages for being the yang myungsoo's little sister, and that's great news for siah. other than this, myungsoo never looks down on siah like their parents, and siah views myungsoo more like a father rather than a brother. siah goes to myungsoo whenever things happened instead of her parents most of the time. siah relies on myungsoo very much, that is. myungsoo takes care of his only sister too, and the love is mutual.

in jaesoo's case, siah can't really view him as a younger sibling because jaesoo is so mature that siah almost forgets the face he's younger than her for three years. yang jaesoo is the family member who makes siah feels actually proud, and again, siah gets advantages for being jaesoo's elder sister that people envy of. siah adores jaesoo, and jaesoo sometimes have to help look out of his elder sister because of siah's reckless acts. despite lacking talent (before signing under yedang), jaesoo still views siah as the best sister; siah is very sincere and loving around jaesoo unlike most elder sisters who go really harsh on younger siblings.

lee hyunah is one of the most important persons in yang siah's life. being the one that led siah into the world of singing and entertainment industry, hyunah inspired siah a lot and siah would not hesitant answering her bestfriend lee hyunah as her inspiration of being an idol instead of mainstreams boa, bigbang or snsd. being classmates since middle school, hyunah and siah know each other more than anyone else. they are not the typical lovey-dovey bestfriends that link arms to the washroom- they're more like, married couples in their late 50s, that nag each other all the time for really tiny things, or insult each other first whatever happened on each other; but are the first to take care of each other when things happened. despite being in two completely different social circle (that is, if siah debuted), hyunah and siah still make sure to text each other frequently and not to let their cherish friendship fade as time passed.

being a newbie in yedang, jungah, managed being still as outgoing and cheerful as she is naturally, in the company. comparing to jungah, siah has been in yedang for quite a long time, and is considered one of the traines who are famous for their training duration. siah immediately grew a liking for the younger one with her baby face and befriended jungah one-sidedly. okay, jungah too, like siah because look! (click) the two girls are often seen hanging out in the company with each other, and attend to trainings in pairs. jungah would help siah out for dancings, and siah would practice her vocal with jungah, who happens to be quite a nice vocal too.

cheek pinchings both being pinched on cheeks and the idea of pinching others' cheeks. since she knew how bad it could feel, she naturally dislikes this act as well. when people started pinching her cheeks and goes all like 'oh honey you're so squishy and cute' siah wants to punch right on his face because like it's hella pain and she'll looks extremely bad.

introducing siah swift siah has been playing the guitar since she was in middle school. due to the lack of free times, siah didn't sign up for classes and self-taught through internet. after all these years of learning, siah could play the guitar quite well, yet without much education of music theories, siah still struggled to compose a complete song.

born on june 10, 1996, siah is born as the second child, first daughter, and future middle child of the yang family. since young, siah is probably the child who got the least attention from her parents due to two reasons- she's a girl, and she's the middle child. hence, siah is brought a bit attention-seeking, too much perhaps; but that's how she survived all these years. though her two siblings treated her like the queen and are extremely protective of their only female sibling, siah still feels empty without much parents' love she's received comparing to her two outstanding brothers. yes, both myungsoo and jaesoo did much better than her at school, not even joking- myungsoo's the typical popular cold guy of the school, whilst jaesoo's the core of the school debate team and swimming team. siah's too, popular at school, absolutely because of her two brothers. and all these result in siah's natural insecurity and why she's so critical for herself all the times. she wants to do better, for the sake of her parents and just to make herself at least looks better with her two great siblings. fortunately siah is not a pessimistic girl, she energizes herself to work harder with her negative thoughts when it comes to her two siblings. if you ask her whether she dislikes her siblings at all, siah would shake her head without a doubt. the fact was that she dislikes her parents more since they were the people that made her relationship with her other siblings tense (it was one-sided, though), and siah was actually happy that they never isolate her or anything like that. other than the unseen pressure she received from siah's surrounding, siah generally had a really great childhood, as her family is considered rather wealthy, with her parents' business.
during the journey of 'yang siah finding other unique talents that her siblings don't own or haven't and probably wouldn't showcase yet', siah discovered her interest for singing. it was due to the frequent visit to the karaoke near the school. with the accompany of her best friend, siah signed up for the school choir. her parents could've cared less, considering they didn't even need to pay fees. siah enjoyed every moment of singing, despite the repetitive criticisms or the endless practices that test your patience all the times, siah never failed to attend trainings except sick leaves. one reason siah likes singing was because she sings the best among her siblings; and the other reason would be she could express her thoughts through singing and it helps relief her stress in daily life. it was siah's second year in middle school when she was accepted by pledis entertainment. back in 2011, when siah almost turned 14, she was brought to the yedang building forcefully by her best friend, lee hyunah. yedang was introduced to hyunah through some mutual friends so hyunah made siah accompanying her auditioning for yedang. not wanting to waste such a chance, siah prepared a bit for the audition and turned out both girls were accepted by yedang. little did siah knows, siah was accepted 50% because of her dance 50% because of her face. but she could've cared less, no matter what, she was accepted anyway. as siah happily announced the news of being accepted by yedang to her family, siah swears, it's the first time her parents properly praise her for her real strengths, and not brushing her off.

choi seungcheol was born on august 8 in 1995 in daegu of south korea. seungcheol's childhood times were rather ordinary; like any other ordinary boys, seungcheol started learning taekwondo and eventually earned a black belt qualification after working out taekwondo for seven years. since young, seungcheol is loved by his parents and had a great childhood with the hearty residents in daegu. he picked up the love for hiphop due to the influence of his peers back then, and started speaking really fast, like the cool rappers on television.
it was 2008 when seungcheol finally decided trying out in the entertainment industry with the support and permission of his parents. seungcheol first tried out the bigger companies, like sm, yg and jyp etc. before officially ending up in front of pledis entertainment. it was a rather small-scale company, but through friends, seungcheol still tried out and got accepted by pledis in a young age of 14. during the long six years of trainings, seungcheol was originally planned to be in nu'est, but failed; and was once the lineup of boygroup project 'tempest', yet ended up being in seventeen after all these.
