gong jooyeon is your ray of sunshine in every aspect. jooyeon has this certain aura to attract people, no matter by her spakling smile, or her vivid eyes as if they could speak for themselves, or her warm and welcoming attitude towards almost anyone. jooyeon is always in her outgoing state, ready to meet new faces and add in people to her life. on the very surface, jooyeon may not be attractive or alluring because of her face, but her sunshine-like existence. and then people would naturally be drawn into jooyeon's pure smile. at least they thought so. the one thing that made most of the people liking jooyeon so much is that despite her name, jooyeon is not a spoiled little princess. she is able to adapt new environments or adjust to meeting completely new faces anytime. in other words, people seldom have to look out for her, as jooyeon is always fine dealing with stuffs on her own. it's not like she could, ever, actually ask for help. jooyeon has this tendency of keeping her own problems to herself - sure, she is able to help others but it's not the same of asking others for help. jooyeon can't really seem to convey her true feelings to others at time. besides, eleven years of oversea studying have made jooyeon less trusting. she needs to look out for herself in australia, and she has trust problems with others. even if back to seoul, she meets all people with the same race as her.

what people never expect from jooyeon is her persistence. jooyeon could go with flow for certain subjects, but when it comes her own ideas, she could be as stubborn as you would imagine unless you find a satisfying compromising solution for her. maybe it was her adhd traits, but more of it was her insecurity of her performance. jooyeon could be too much to handle when it comes to approvals from others. it's a sibling thing, to be quite honest, since sungyeon is always the better one. heck, jooyeon can't even hate him because they're so sweet with each other putting that aside??? which is why jooyeon always tries to choose a different path from her brother, so that they won't be compared - or she won't be overshadowed. another trait seen clearly because of jooyeon's past adhd history is that gong jooyeon is crystal clear the most impatient living creature on the planet. jooyeon can't seem to calm herself down when time is ticking too much, and jooyeon hates, hates, hates the feeling of waiting. waiting endless without knowing the limit. however, jooyeon is still a good company to enjoy. jooyeon is humorous and her jokes often help making the atmosphere lighter, making the moment less taut. and jooyeon is also a great addition when it comes to creativity. living in a non-asia country for half of her lifetime, jooyeon definitely is more open minded and is not a traditional person. she's often found thinking out of the box and trying new stuffs. people don't usually agree with jooyeon's ideas, but jooyeon's ideas eventually turn out to be great.

NOVEMBER 17, 1993 (0) / gong jooyeon was born to gong shinsung and yang hyeran's second child in seocho-dong in seoul.

JULY 15, 1999 (5) / hyeran signed jooyeon up for piano classes during summer vacation. since the piano teacher was so kind and nice, jooyeon enjoyed piano lessons and eventually, developed interest in music.

MARCH 19, 2001 (6) / when jooyeon was first diagnosised adhd, which sort of explained jooyeon's bad performance at school. hers wasn't serious, that is. it's simply fortunate for jooyeon to not be associated with learning disabilities.

SUMMER, 2004 (10) / jooyeon had intense piano lessons ever since she was diagnosised adhd. the doctor considered piano a good way of "behaving" jooyeon, and with occasional therapies and consultation, jooyeon was considered recovered from adhd by the doctor.

2005 - 2010 (11 - 17)

JANUARY 08, 2005 (11) / jooyeon arrives to gold coast, australia with her mother. jooyeon was so scared in a foreign country in the age of 12, but soon made herself to get used to it knowing that her dear brother was also sent aboard to australia three years ago, only in a different city.

JANUARY, 2005 (11) / first day of jooyeon's secondary school life in coombabah state high school. jooyeon has watched enough soap operas to know what she would face today: endless isolation and weird glances. if worse, bullyings. so she acted as natural as she could be, bravely spoke to the blonde girl next to her. but jooyeon was completely ignored and the blonde started hanging out with fellow australians instead. well, at least she was treated like a human.

APRIL, 2005 (11) / things have eventually got better in the second term. jooyeon acted more like the local australians there, and dressed like one too - she got rid of her asian style clothings, and replaced with tons of skirts and shorts she bought at the mall near her home. her english improved a lot through the break too. the girls there started responding to her, but jooyeon still had to get through the hard time of eating alone at lunch break.

JANUARY, 2006 (12) / the start of the second year of jooyeon's secondary school. the people are nicer to her, and jooyeon even started hanging out with a few australians and stopped eating lunch alone. jooyeon's personality has got more wild and carefree since then, influenced by local australians and her effort of blending into the locals.

JUNE 27, 2008 (14) / the day jooyeon picked keyboard up during the break. jooyeon was surfing the net when she clicked into a clip of some girls playing the keyboard with her band members. she was attracted to the instrument and started having tutorials at home.

DECEMBER, 2010 (17) / jooyeon finally graduated from secondary school and actually made it through.

2011 - 2013 (17 - 20)

DECEMBER, 2010 - JANUARY, 2011 / jooyeon was torn between which course should she apply for in griffith. she knew her mother had always lowkey wanted her to study business to takeover their family business unlike sungyeon who chose pharmacy. this was the chance for jooyeon to be a pleaser for her parents instead of her brother, but jooyeon could never treat keyboard just a hobby.

FEBRUARY 28, 2011 (17) / first day of jooyeon's university life in griffith university. she was scared if she would be treated like back on her first day in secondary. fortunately, she cound a fellow asian and immediately got their hips attatched, wu xuanyi, a chinese girl, alone in a foreign city like her. jooyeon enrolled on a music course in the end, following her own desire, not her parents'.

MARCH 2, 2011 (17) / people in college were so much different than those peopl in high school. people there were ten times nicer and there were more people of her own race, which means she's not an alien race there. jooyeon had a positive feeling for her beautiful life in college.

APRIL 11, 2012 (18) / got an unexpected surprise by strolling around the campus with xuanyi as they found a secretive instrument room. since then, this instrument room became their favourite getaway place from their stressful school life. jooyeon would play the keyboard (and maybe, occasionally, the piano) while xuanyi would play with her violin.

NOVEMBER, 2013 (20) / jooyeon finally graduated from griffith university with xuanyi. xuanyi had to return to china and well, jooyeon had to return to korea too. they parted ways but xuanyi would regularly facetime jooyeon in china.

2014 - 2016 (20 - 23)

JANUARY 08, 2014 (20) / jooyeon's long-awaited return to south korea. it was the exact date when jooyeon first arrived to australia.

MAY 20, 2014 (20) / jooyeon got her first job in south korea. she worked full-time at a cafe near hongdae, and met her first korean boyfriend, jang kiyong.

SEPTEMBER 02, 2014 (20) / moved out of her home and found a nice apartment in songpa-gu. met her bestfriend slash roommate three weeks later.

DECEMBER 11, 2014 (21) / had her first music-related job as an assistant of a music producer working under some entertainment label. since the salary wasn't sufficient enough to pay her rent, jooyeon also started part-time waiting at a popular cafe near her house.

JUNE, 2016 (22) / jooyeon went to audition for nascent, as ~~forced~~ suggested by her best friend who only wants jooyeon to get out of the house and not do nothing but waste oxygen which is untrue because jooyeon does work full-time from time to time but none of them were stable.

after jooyeon returned to korea, jooyeon decided to move out and live on her own. after renting the apartment (jooyeon does not want to use her parents' money bc sungyeon didn't either), the landlady suddenly introduced jooyeon another college tenant. and basically that's how hyejin and jooyeon met each other. hyejin is very alike to jooyeon, only hyejin is less wild than jooyeon, but they love partying at nights if hyejin has settled her school work that day.

hyejin and jooyeon are very close to each other, and despite them not being in the same age, hyejin is someone (other than her family) jooyeon truely relies on. they don't act like they like each other or see eye to eye at all (well they don't) as they squabble all day over small details like why??? that's disturbing and annoying to the living creatures around them. one thing that makes people adore this ship(?) is how jooyeon would spend lunch with hyejin at her university and hyejin would drop by at band practices.

the first person jooyeon got close to within the band. since jiyeon just has this cordial vibe, jooyeon can't help but being attached to jiyeon. jooyeon likes jiyeon a lot and depends on jiyeon quite a lot when jooyeon is with the band. since jiyeon is someone of the same age with her, jooyeon feels way more comfortable talking to jiyeon about her problems and in general, stress. and has jooyeon mentioned how much she adores jiyeon with hyunjin?

jiyeon and jooyeon are often seen messing around with each other. since they're of the same age and they both have a rather outgoing personality, jiyeon and jooyeon are always fooling around and teasing each other about their embarassing moments if jiyeon is not with hyunjin. the two girls love shopping around prestigious shopping malls together. typical wealthy girls.

hyunjin and jooyeon are not the closest ones among the band, to be frank. hyunjin and jooyeon have such similar personalities that they're often seen arguing head to head about some tiny details. sometimes meeting a mirror may not be the best. and they're both very, very persistent about their own ideas. nonetheless, jooyeon looks up to hyunjin a lot at times when they're good and peaceful, with hyunjin's amazing songwriting talents.

fortunately for both of them, hyunjin and jooyeon don't always have to directly interact with each other; most of the time, jooyeon would rant about hyunjin's grandpa behaviors through jiyeon. and well, hyunjin is still fighting for a legit rule of 'no drinking before the day of performance' due to his worries for jooyeon's love for partying, regardless of the schedule the other day.

jaeshin is currently the hot guy jooyeon is seeing. jaeshin and jooyeon used to work in the same cafe before jooyeon was fired because she at working, but they still hang out regularly. it's obvious there's something going on between them, but jooyeon refuse to make things clear before starting a serious relationship again.

jaeshin and jooyeon are not anything serious yet, and jaeshin is oftenly found picking jooyeon up after her band practice to catch a late night movie or so. jaeshin spoils jooyeon and jooyeon enjoys it very much. but she has her conscious and knowing it's jaehin's last year in university, she would hang out with her brother and spare jaeshin the time to study. see this is the good thing about a fling, you don't have to meet so frequently and isn't this good for both of them?

jooyeon doesn't know her feelings for jaeshin considering how he never appeared on her social medias, but jaeshin sure knows how much jooyeon means to him. sure, they kiss, they sleep together but that doesn't mean anything yet. and if jooyeon isn't ready to jump into another relationship yet, jaeshin would wait until jooyeon comes to her senses - he doesn't want to rush things too. and hopefully, jooyeon would eventually realize her feelings for jaeshin.

gong jooyeon stands at 165cm and weights a healthy 51kg.in fact, hyojung could appear a bit chubbier comparing to the general underweight seoul girls - probably due to her love for junk food and fast food - which is quite upsetting to hyojung, as back in australia, she was considered to have a rather slender appearance.

gong jooyeon has fair skin, big doe eyes and rosy cheeks - jooyeon sure leaves an impressive visual to most of us - which is one of the many reasons of the numbers on her instagram and twitter accounts. one of the things jooyeon is extremely proud of would be her hair - having naturally brown-ish and seemingly permed hair really is a blessing to gong jooyeon.

jooyeon loves wearing colorful and varying clothing styles. jooyeon has this gifted body and appearance of able to wear all sorts of concepts without looking weird despite her actual height. jooyeon wears designers brands only, due to her nature (and well, she has this money from her parents), but jooyeon doesn't really look like someone well-off. she, just like any other korean girls, wears hot pants and simple tees too. but jooyeon favors skirts and off shoulder/boat neckline pieces. jooyeon's ootd are always a pleasure to watch, since she adopts western styles and korean styles, making her fashion approach very unique. jooyeon is the kind of girl who values styles more than comfort, she wears pumps and heels if they make her look nice even if they could hurt and are a pain in the . besides, jooyeon is always willing to reveal a little skin if that's what to complete her fashion styles.

attended coombabah state high school and majored popular music in griffith university.

learned piano since she was six. accomplished abrsm grade eight piano exam with a merit after seven years.

self picked up keyboard when she was fourteen, too boring in australia and wanted to find something she genuinely like. well later her mom hired her a tutor. jooyeon also completed an ameb level 2 (8th grade) electronic organ exam with a b+ credit in six years.

jooyeon mildly learned how to play the ukulele during her university. however, she stopped after six months and now her light blue ukulele is only used for aesthetic photo use.

jooyeon completed grade 8 music theory alongside her piano grade 8 exam and mildly learned about "completing a song". jooyeon later ie. what six years later? entered university and had a bit song writing credit lectures. so jooyeon could actually write a song too. but her songs are better for child education tv series tbqh.

jooyeon joined a state orchestra and played the harpsichord for around four years between attending university. jooyeon's face could sometimes be searched online with some lq pictures of her performing with her fellow orchestra members.

diagnosised with adhd when she was six. though she was treated properly, some of adhd's symptoms could still be seen through jooyeon's behaviors and personality - considering how impatient and pesistent she could be.

jooyeon is not a good employee. she dozes off during work and spills coffee (sadly not onto a hot guy) so she never has a stable job besides she herself never really wants one.

hates orange to the end of the world. she despises anything related to orange. she won't even eat oranges.

favourite tv series is jessica jones because she has been a fan of jessica jones way earlier. she's jooyeon's life goal and role model to be quite honest, but as we all know jooyeon fails to be like jessica jones.

a friendly suggestion would be prevent jooyeon from anywhere close to singing. she merely passed her aural tests in piano exams.

listens to abc radio australia every morning with a cup of americano (she finds this necessary).

having pretty collar bones is jooyeon's dream but she might have been eating too much lately...

jooyeon likes doing calligraphy with her grand set of brushes, listening to music, reading books (but managing not to be a geek) and watching america tv series in her free time.

not a big fan of korean dramas because most of the female leads there are weak and korean dramas are very different from what she watched during her adolescent times in australia. but then again, she won't discriminate medias, so she would go with flow and pick up one or two from time to time.

HYUNJIN COUGHS INTO HIS HAND, "OKAAAY SO... HEY, UH JOOYEON, YEAH UH NICE TO MEET YOU. SO, HOW THE HELL DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT THE AUDITION?"

"oh uh, i heard this from my friend - she wants to me get out of the apartment and do something meaningful so - i came here," jooyeon paused, "i hope that's a good reason-" noticing the frown on hyunjin's face made jooyeon panicked and quickly added, "i was totally joking before - trying to lighten up the mood, you know? i saw this online, and yeah, since i have this passion for music, i came here."

"WOW THAT'S GREAT." HE DEADPANS, JIYEON ELBOWS HIM SHARPLY "OUCH! – JIYEON– OKAY OKAY. UH... OH, WHAT MADE YOU AUDITION?"

"as i said, i have this passion for music years ago, when i picked up piano in the age of five," jooyeon smiled, bull lies, "and just in case if you haven't read my resume, i majored popular music in australia." jooyeon observed how the atmosphere became lighter and continued, "i just love music and maybe, um, a stable occupation."

"COOL. SO LIKE... CAN YOU EVEN PLAY AN INSTRUMENT? SING? WHAT CAN YOU OFFER THE BAND?"

"i play both piano and keyboard. i started playing piano since i was five and keyboard......i think it was fourteen? though, i got into my college through keyboard audition so - i can offer a hot and cute keyboardist to the band," jooyeon giggled at her own words, but at least jiyeon agreed. at this point, jooyeon quickly added, "and i know some cool bands in australia so if you want a cultural exchange period, i'm cool!" gosh. these people are so cute but so bipolar at the same time?????

jooyeon put her palms together, "i wish for the very best for the band! i hope we can break the stereotype in this traditional seoul, and convey meaningful messages to our audience!" jooyeon paused, "i mean, there are a lot things people don't realize and we needa fix this?" jooyeon smiled as she thought of the idea, "i want the band to not just known and recognized in seoul, but also in south korea, and maybe asia! the music industry should not always be only about girls and boys dancing on stage, but people need to appreciate bands like us too. real music." hmm, jooyeon loves the words 'us'.

"ALRIGHT, THAT SHOULD BE ALL–" "HYUNJIN, I HAVEN'T EVEN ASKED ANYTHING YET." "BUT YOU'RE JUST–" "SO, WHAT IS MUSIC TO YOU? WHAT KIND DO YOU LIKE?" SHE QUESTIONS, HAND OVER HYUNJIN'S MOUTH TO PREVENT HIM FROM PROTESTING.

jooyeon chuckled seeing hyunjin and jiyeon's interactions. the band must be fun with the two of them. "oh right. um, music is......basically my everything? not that if i have a serious boyfriend though - oh, back to this." jooyeon flipped her hair, "honestly speaking, my whole life, is associated with music. but music is very good," jooyeon paused and tried coming up with a more complex korean word of 'very good', "just - very good. music has no limits and you can enjoy and express at the same time." jooyeon paused, trying to recall the second question, "and oh. music taste? i don't discriminate. i love music generally, r&b, hard rock, pop, ballad, and i even listen to classics and tangos!" wait - do tangos belong to classics again...?

"i uh - was signed up for piano lessons by my mother when i was five, with personal reasons but not my interest in music, so that's really, how i was introduced to music. but then i was in love with music. music is a great channel for me to get away from stress and overwhelming life. not that i ever have a suicide history before but; well yeah." jooyeon added, "i know i may not have a glamorous start for music in my life like others, who probably have a grand musician family or have gifted music talents who could write a song at six - but i do hope my actual love for music is recognized."
