yeojin was born on the 10th of october, in 1995 to her mother and father who at that time were still in highschool. a young couple that had made a mistake, yes that mistake was yeojin. despite the the fact that they were judged and busy constantly, they had never made yeojin feel like a mistake. they adored the small girl with doe eyes and smile that could cure the world of its hatred. they looked at her with eyes that weren't clouded with hatred. as she grew three years old, her mother became sickly. to the point where she had to live in the hospital, at this point her father had already began work so they moved into a cheap apartment near the hospital- just so yeojin could stay with her mother and the nurses while her father worked for an income. by the time she was five, she was already well aware of her mother's situation. the doctors had promised her that her mother would come home during the weekend, but cancelled at the last minute saying that she had caught a flu and didn't want to pass it onto yeojin. after the countless times she had answered this phone call it wasn't a surprise that she caught onto the fact that "your mom is never coming home."
► mid childhood - late childhood ( 2001 - 2007 ) :
yeojin was faced with a rock hard wall on her sixth year of living, her mother was offically deceased and her father had fallen into a strong depression. due to this fact, neither her mother's parents or her father's wanted to take her in. although her father's mother and father tried, they could not handle their depressed son and a six year old child- her mother's side were similarly occupied with their greiving to look after her. so her father's older brother, an unmarried 25 year old man had to become her subsitute father instead. yeojin clung to her uncle a lot, because she still yearned for love and attention from her parents at her age. however her uncle would often push her away and continue with his work. despite this, she was grateful for his choice of letting her live with him instead of sending her to adoption centre.

yeojin had moved out and left that world behind the minute she had turned 18, that too without giving her uncle a second glance. at this point she lived alone in the cheap apartment complex that her mom and dad had stayed in before the uncle came into the picture. she stayed in this apartment for two years, often having to lock her doors and slap a hand over her hand to make it seem like she wasn't breathing when her uncle came knocking on her door. although she was reletively safe, she refused to move out of the apartment complex despite her uncle knowing she was there. one of the mian reasons being how attached she was to the memories that remained in the apartment that she had spent a minority of her childhood at. yeojin despite her outstounding grades, still didn't have a stable job, mainly due to the fact that she never knew what she wanted ot be. so for now, she studies in seoul collage on a scholarship for psychology, while acting as the cashier for a sweet shop near her house.

taehyung was born on december 30th 1995, and was raised in daegu until he moved to seoul with his parents. he was raised in a rather simple enviorment, normal parents, normal family, normal enviorment. but something was horribly wrong inside of taehyung, he was flowly morhping into a person who didn't fit the world's agenda. yes, he was being bullied, teased- constantly involved in fights and rendered helpless when he attempted to explain himself. taehyung ended up dropping out of highschool, hence not recieving the education he was supposed to have- and ended up working part time in jobs all around seoul. often ending in him simply running around doing stupid things with his small circle of friends, making fun of younger kids and acting childish to hide his judegmental comments inside.
THEIR STORY »
► tAKE YOUR GUN AND AIM :
Taehyung and yeojin met exactly 1 year ago, near the han river, a place that yeojin had always visited to take refuge from her uncle's haunting actions. it seemed like taehyung was lost, helpless because he could not ask for directions when it was 2am and no living soul was out and about that night. so when he met the girl sitting on the edge of the river alone, he didn't hesitate to ask her for directions. he only problem being, he didn't know where he wanted to go, yes he'd came to the han river and successfuly gotten lost- but he had no idea where he wanted to go. with bad luck, it seemed that he just had to meet yeojin, someone who was in no way intrested in helping him out- and instead retorted with a snarky remark and turned away from him.

two months later, while yeojin was doing her shift in the sweet shop she worked in, a familiar face had walked in. the lost boy, as she reffered to him as on a daily basis, had walked in shouting "oh hey, its the ." at this point taehyung made no attempts to seem polite, or even cheerful like he normally is. the pair somehow, despite his growing grudge on her, had sat down on oppisate sides and comenced some sort of a sarcastic remark battle. for whatever reason this was, yeojin was somehow pulled into telling him her name and he with her. for taehyung it was because she was different, she didn't hold onto him, but she did seem to call him closer. she was in all ways, a vixen begging to be chased. and to her, he was the boy who got lost in the han river.

► the friendship :
yeojin assumed that was the start of their so called friendship, constant text messages, phone calls and sneaking out at midnight to visit the han river again. the pair were unable to seperate from each other, but as the weeks went by their frienship turned into other things. he began to visit her regularly, and lean in closer than he normally did. and one by one the suspisions about their friendship rose when her perfume began to stick to his clothing. meeting his parents, making herself at home- it was all done and over with, but she was never introduced as more than a friend and the same to him. they got addicted, but not devoted. taehyung began seeing others, girls, and it angered yeojin- heck she was furious. to see that everything she thought was real was nothing more thana few words strung together. but taehyung saw it differently, the girls were not like yeojin- they weren't the girls he could take home to his parents, they were one-night stands. and then the fights began, it rocked back and forth, their arguments. but when taehyung had become annoyed and yeojin fustrated, he stood outside her door- poking at her pride.

and yeojin slammed the door on his face, locked her windows and left him there. she assumed this was the end of everything. of the secret visits to his room, to stargazing and telling weird stories about their various jobs and collage experiances. and so the pair parted ways, yet still longing for each others touch.
► the mistake :
during the year she knew taehyung, her uncle had not visited her once, so she became careless. thats why when she heard the doorbell, she assumed it was taehyung wanting to fix things, thats why she opened the door for her uncle to come in. she was shocked, screamed and all. but her uncle was still in his mid thirties, and the neighbours were gone. he touched her, her scars, her back, he did it all over again. and when she exhaled a breath of air and allowed the tears to hit the wooden floor, taehyung was there. like she had guessed, he had come to fix things. because yeojin was his, wasn't she? every atom in his body yearned to know hers, so he came to sort things out. but was only greeted with her uncle and yeojin, it wasn't like he wasn't aware of the abuse she went through. she had showed him one night, six months ago, she told him everything- the scars and the memories. thats why he made a bad choice, he grabbed the broken beer bottle her uncle had left by the door and swung him over the head with it. he was blidned with anger, hatred and everything else in the world. so he stabbed him in the stomach, once, twice, then a third time. before he was pulled away by yeojin, and her uncle lay limp on the floor- dead. he cried, and so did she, her cried on her shoulder and she was desperately trying to rub the blood off his hands. because taehyung had broken the law, and that man was dead.
