Idk he sounds really y and just overall too needy? Like Tao is a fully grown adult, he doesn't need his dad to interfere with his contract or anything.

And from the sounds of things, his dad was giving him an ultimatum, it's his family or Exo. 

The whole workshop thing? He's just pissed they announce Lay's first, I mean they were all probably going to get one anyway, just Tao got injured so they announced Lay's first.

It just seems like his father isn't happy with the amount he's getting off his son to live off so he's whining like a .

It's super inconsiderate to Lay too, he already gets enough about Chinese members not being loyal and now tao's father goes and says that?

And beside, we've all seen how much Tao loves being with the members and singing their songs. If Tao wasn't happy, he himself would talk to sm, so why is his father talking for him, when he's like 21/22 with his own voice.

Don't get me wrong, Tao is my bias, just his dad seems like a who is too controlling.

Like, even the other members get hurt, heck, Jackson from got7 hurt his ankle and his parents are Chinese but did they complain like a child that's getting told no by his mum? No. They didn't complain at all. Nor did Kris's parents or Luhan's.

I don't mean to disrespect his dad but sure, get worried over his injury but don't pressure him into something he clearly doesn't want to do.

If Tao truly didn't want to be in the group, why buy the bracelate, why say all those things about moving on as a team.

I just hope Tao realises he doesn't have to obey his father since he's a fully grown adult and has no obligation to keep him happy because his own happiness should be priority. 

And Tao always looked happiest with his group members.
