Hello there, beautiful people! Spring is starting to seem like it in this part of the world and I am very excited! Therefore, I decided to write another blog post and share my feelings with you.

Generally speaking, I like every season of the year and I appreciate the secret magic each entails. However, there is something about Spring, the distinct blend of sunshine, flowers, colours and infinite sky, that makes me wake up with a smile every day (and this comes from a person who values sleep a lot) and motivates me to do my best to find scattered fragments of happiness. This season is perfect to do things, whatever things, from taking a stroll outside and having coffee with friends to reading books and adopting puppies. No matter what you do, however idle or energetic, there is a sense of hope and contentment, an indistinguishable sense of push to make greater plans for small things that will make you happy, and simultaneously, a gentle feeling of fulfillment, even from one fleeting glance of blue sky through the window of the train. There is so much thrilling life springing from mundane normalcy around you, that it feels like the universe is promising you a smile. And you deserve a smile.

This season never fails to make me wonder how beautiful life is. The flowers unraveling colours and patterns on their green canvas is one of the main perceptions of Spring, and it has become so commonplace that we fail to notice how stunning it truly is. A romantic I might be, but I marvel how the sky stretches in pale blue to reach the sun, how the butterflies dance with each other in vibrant swirls, how the first and last stars glimmer so close to my eyes throughout the night. In the fleeting harmony that the season brings in our daily moments, a smile seems happier, a touch feels gentler, a small word resonates more honest and friendly. We all live and breathe the same under the sun, no matter place and time, and that is a bit miraculous in itself.

Staying true to my title of a lazy kitten, I love lying somewhere quiet and comfortable, listening to music and thinking about things that make me happy. I can’t bring you where I am to see what I see, to feel what I feel, to think what I think, but I can share with you my sunny-days playlist of kpop songs, to share with you a small part of my experience. I suggest you find a comfy place with the sun warming your skin and sunrays dancing behind your eyelids to enjoy this collection of songs. You will find lots of guitar strings and playful beats. These are generally slow songs and beware, I have no idea what the lyrics mean so some of them might be sad or unimpressive; I just like the music.

Okay, if I have to be completely honest here, there is one additional noticeable pattern in my playlist: the repetition of exo’s new album. I can’t help it!! (I respect people of varying opinions on this so, my group bias aside,) I guess I like the songs because they’re very close to my general preferences in terms of beat and vocals and that ‘something’ which I cannot explain because I have absolutely no education in music :3 so I keep listening to them ^.^
