personality : if anybody asked, do mirae would consider herself probably one of the most beautiful people to step foot on geunggeugui university's campus in all its years of existence. she's always been confident in her looks, always being taught by her mother to always love herself no matter what happens, but since graduating high school, her confidence levels have skyrocketed into being downright vain. she believes she can wear or not wear anything and still look amazingly gorgeous in it that even her classmates are just in awe with how one can actually pull off wearing ugly christmas sweaters and grandma's old clothes in the middle of july. she's completely shameless with how she acts and has zero discreetness when she's talking about anything and everything under the sun. she's always very obvious in her wants and needs that it doesn't really take a genius to figure out what she's feeling at any given moment in time. she could be talking about how hot a guy is even if he's standing right next to her and just staring wide-eyed because who has the guts to say that out loud right next to him?

however, just as she is shameless, she's terribly oblivious about most things around her, having no clue about feelings and if anybody actually has a crush on her or not and if a vending machine is working or not even if there's an out-of-order sign on it. she's impulsive with her actions and thoughts that sometimes, it makes her look hilariously dense and come off as sassy even when she's truly not or trying not to be. she just technically doesn't think through things very well and always likes to rely on her intuition first and deal with the consequences later. it contradicts how well she does in school, but it'd make sense since doing well in school kinda goes hand-in-hand with just studying well and retaining all the information in her brain, which she definitely has a handle on since she was young.

in addition to all this, mirae is outgoing. she loves going out and meeting new people and never hesitates to get one's number for future references. she's extremely friendly and very blunt with her actions (most of the time) and is genuinely loyal to those she becomes true friends with. she'll do anything for them and will protect them to the ends of the earth. she's also very tolerant, a trait she thanks to her blood type because she believes in horoscopes and blood type personalities what and never really gets worked up about anything. she barely gets angry and never voices it out but it's easy to tell when she feels like she's been wronged and being mistreated despite insisting that whatever she's saying is true. some things just get out of hand and she just ends up accepting it in the end. maybe that's why everyone thinks of her as an easygoing person. she's flexible and expressive and it always makes others comfortable or maybe uncomfortable because of her flirty nature around her.

background : mirae was born as the second child to do jongwook and kim ara and the younger sister of do hyunwook by four years. by any standards, she never really had an impressive childhood, living her life quite normal as what she would expect. she was always taught to love herself no matter what happened and to never give up on what she desired in life. her mother taught her this continually, but never expected her daughter to take it to an insane level as she grew older. she had always done well in school, somehow passing with flying colors (her brother would always have to remind her that she wouldn't have passed without his help and adapted his bizarre study methods) and always getting the things she wanted with minimal effort (maybe because she's the only daughter and the youngest in her family). when she reached her university years, she never really dropped her study habits she attained from her brother and was surprised she was accepted into geunggeugui university based on her grades and father's position on the board of incheon international airport.

future plans : mirae really doesn't have a concrete goal for plans after college. she's thought about modeling because hello, gorgeous and even going for something in the medical field because she surprisingly really liked biochemistry those two are related, right?. but currently, one of her top plans has something to do with advertising and just talking to people in general since she's so good at it. she eventually talks to her brother and father and starts the process for interviewing and trying to tame herself down so she can get a job creating advertisements and promoting incheon international airport as well as monitoring what gets put on the walls and everything. she also figures getting married by 30 is ideal as well. (she also really wants a boy she can spoil.)

family :

older brother — do hyunwook (28) + pilot // laidback, funny, sarcastic, protective // hyunwook is basically the tamer version of his younger sister with more control over himself than she. when they're together, they're always laughing and making fun of each other or hyunwook would be complaining about his sister's way of life while she'll be asking when's the last time her brother had a girlfriend or got laid. it's clear that the two care about each other to an extent and would surprisingly do anything for each other, even if it means mirae talking back to a girl treating her brother wrong or her brother threatening a guy somehow abusing his little sister and maybe a punch or two.
