He is there again, alone with his canvas and his passion.

He walks to a nearby bench and starts setting up his tools.

He smiles at how the weather is always helping him.

He looks around to find a thing or object to draw and saw a lonely looking girl; staring at the pond with sorrow in her eyes.

Never once he feels emotional upon looking at people misery but somehow his heart ache when he saw the look in her face.

She looks so much in pain; not physically but her heart is.

He knows it, he had been an observer all these time.

He stood up and his legs unknowingly move to her.

He crouches beside her before he decides to just sit there.

He was sitting there for some time but she wasn’t looking at him at all.

She seems in a daze.

The way her eyes lost its focus; the way her lips quiver when the wind blows; he is confirm that she was looking for peace in this very place.

“Hi.”

He started to make a conversation and he succeeds in making the young, sweet looking girl turns to him.

Her eyes were full of question and he smiles at that.

“I’m a street artist. Are you a student?”

Looking at her small frame, he thought that she might be in her high school.

She shakes her head.

“I just finished college.”

He doesn’t expect that.

He had been thinking that she must be a student and when she said she is a college graduate, it makes him slightly shock.

“You didn’t look like one.”

“Am I? Maybe that what makes he betrays me.”

His brow arched when she said that.

“I’m sorry.”

She said wiping the new tears that falls to her cheek.

“I don’t know why I blabber this to you.”

“It’s okay. It’s said that it’s better if you talk to a stranger. It will make you feel better.”

He saw she smiles a bit which makes his heart race.

“God, she is pretty.”

He thought while cursing whoever dumps this fine looking girl.

“We almost engaged this fall but he found someone else. She is a perfect lady. Tall, beautiful, and got the elegance.”

“You are pretty too.”

“But I’m not suitable for him.”

“Maybe you guys are not fated.”

She nods.

“Maybe.”

“You will find someone better.”

“I’m too tired to think about that.”

“Take the time you need. You are still young agashi.”

She smiles again, no longer with that sad eyes which make him feel a bit at ease.

“You live nearby?”

“Yeah. I just took a bus ride here.”

He nods and stays there to just that she won’t feel lonely.

Minutes passed with both of them just throws empty stares to the passerby, the calm flowing river and the blue sky.

“I came here after I send off my family.”

He feel a bit lighter when she talks again.

He smiles and gives her a glance.

“Where did they go?”

“They went to heaven.”

And the tears drop again.

His heart tightens.

With such a tiny body she is enduring too much pain.

“I ran to him to get comfort but I got a bigger shock.”

She smiles absentmindedly.

“I’m so miserable.”

He wanted to ask how her family died; is it from the news three days ago?

But he doesn’t have the heart to do so.

So he just listens.

She might tell him that too.

While he was staring at her, the girl turns to him with a smile.

“Did I share too much? You must think that I’m a freak by now.”

He just shakes his head.

“Not at all.”

He said while smiling to ensure her that he never had any weird thought about he
