She likes clothes that are over her hip. She also likes wearing over-sized clothes whenever she's at home. But when she's outside or at a mall, she'd wear clothes that look expensive. She comes from a family that has a natural-born talent in music. Every since she was young, she has been influenced by the kpop industry. She has a pair of parents and a brother, Jaesup who currently is a trainee at her father's company. She took dancing classes, vocal classes and even rapping classes, but mostly majored in rapping. When she was 8, her father had to go to Japan for a business trip for 2 years. Jinae, Jaesup and her mother followed along to Japan, and Jinae even went to school there. She learnt how to speak in Japanese and even made a few Japanese friends. She got used to their lifestyle there and she even thought of debuting there as a singer. She would go and sing by the streets or restaurants with her brother for fun. Some people thought they were very good and talented and one of the music company in Japan called them to ask if they were interested to be a singer. Seeing the biggest chance of their lifetime, they agreed to be trained by the Japans. But after a week of training, when her father was done with his work there, she moved back to Korea. She then started going to an academy, and Minwoo happened to go there to. Her brother also went to that academy but he left because he got recruited when he was 17. She stayed at the academy with Minwoo and they trained together. She didn't really finish going to school but her mother took her to English classes, cooking classes and many more. Even though her mom agreed to let her be a singer, she still wanted her daughter to be smart and not only think about the training.

She barely came home when she went to the academy and her mom missed her so much. Her mom then decided to send her to her father's academy because it was nearer to her house. She was the only child in the house since her brother left for training and her father was busy taking care of the new rookies. So, she understood why her mother had her sent to the nearest academy to home. They were trained under the same tutor and they are always together. At first, her father told her she was going to debut as a soloist. She trained her best to make that happen. But on the month of her debut, her father had encountered with a few problems with the company that caused the company to be shut down for a few months. She went back to training at the academy with Chae Jin and Jun.Q. After a few months, her father got his company back up and Chae Jin and Jun.Q went back to the company but Jinae didn't. Her father didn't want her to debut under his company because he's afraid of rumors saying she got special treatment. So, her father got her into an audition for Fushion Entertainment. She was prepared for it and her family and friends supported her. On the day of the audition, she rapped, sang, and even danced. She showed all her skills she had without even feeling nervous. She grew up in Damyang. Her father was from a long family with a tradition of folk music. Her mother was the daughter of a family who had fled from the north when the war had happened. They were high school sweethearts and married not long after they both graduated. She began to run a small vegetable store in the market while he continued with performances and buildings his name in the community. Woo Rah was their first child and daughter. She was born at a time when the family was still having trouble making ends meet, but she was showered with attention for the few yeras she was their only child. As more of her siblings were born, this attention was diverted away from her, and she received added responsibilities to take care of them. She lived in a fairly small town. With her father's ties to folk music, she dabbled in it as she attended school. She learned jultagi when she was in second grade, and since then she's never fallen off the rope. Janggu and haegeum she picked up in middle school, and years of listening to the traditional songs means she can recite bits and pieces from memory. Besides her influences to folk music, she had a fairly normal childhood. She lived close to her extended family and was used to knowing everyone in her neighborhood.

She’s is indisputably nosy. Her excuse is that it comes from living in such a small neighborhood for so long. She can’t stand secrets, and fails to understand while people need to keep them. This applies for pretty much anything. Woo Rah is not a fan of exceptions. If she figures out the truth for anything she will state it to the world.. This is mainly why people call her an ajumma.

He reminds Woo Rah a lot of her troublemaker brothers. He is a social butterfly but likes to assume a playboy image. Truthfully though, he's never actually dated a girl. No one's found out the truth yet though, so he continues a facade of being an "expert" in love. He pokes around in other's love life, similarly to Woo Rah's interests in playing matchmaker. Many of their encounters end up as plans to get their friends together.

How You Met

They both arrived the same day to be trainees. They were both rather desperately lost. Woo Rah, thinking Jong Gook looked like he was a "city" person, decided to ask him for directions. Being lost himself, he had no clue, but that didn't stop him from saying that he'd guide her to wherever she needed to go. At this point she was rather gullible, so she agreed although it seemed a rather strange arrangement. They were lost in the subway until nightfall. Woo Rah asked him if he didn't need to go home now, and he replied that he needed to find his new home. She had nothing to say to this strange answer. They dozed off in a corner of the subway station. When morning came, they realized that they had finally gotten to the right station. Woo Rah has held a degree of dislike for him ever since she found out that he dragged her around all day when she could have possibly gotten to their destination sooner. She's never placed the same amount of trust she did in his hands after the first impression he gave her.

She feels pretty awful about feeling jealous of such a young girl, but she's had these thoughts since she first ran into her as a trainee. She's jealous of her talent, and the fact that she's so angelic. She could accept one or the other, but how magnificently perfect Cheonsa is makes her upset at her own lack of similarly great talent.
