Description
When Kim Byul sets her mind on something, she will accomplish it without failure.
After her parents separated, she moved into a new neighbourhood with her father and she was determined to start a new life at a new school where nobody knew her, except her best friend, Song Mino. They went through thick and thin in middle school, and now, they are inseparable. Byul thought that with Mino in her life again, she will lead a happy and simple life with Mino and her Dad. Little did Byul know that she would meet someone that mattered so much in her past in her life that she desperately wanted to restart.
Will Byul, a person filled with determination, have her feelings waver for someone that once broke all her strings inside?
Foreword
A new life. I told myself. I would make this happen. Be happy for Dad, for Mino. For those who matters to me the most. Tomorrow is the day where I start my first day being a second year student in a high school. I will not ruin it. I better not.
I took a quick shower and changed into my largest and comfiest tshirt. I lay down on the bed and pulled the sheets all the way up to my shoulders. I looked up to the ceiling and counted 10 glow-in-the-dark stars that Dad got for me when we just moved in. I desperately try to cut this habit of mine out of my life, but it just wouldn’t die. Counting those glowing stars in the dark is the only thing that calms me down, but it’s also the only thing from my past that I can’t seem to shake it off.
I keep on counting until nervousness inside me dies. and I fall asleep immediately.
