It took only a second for me to fall in love.

And that second, I fell for him…real hard.

“Thank you and come again,” I said as I handed the customer his coffee. I took a rag and cleaned the counter while waiting for customers to pay or order something.

“I want a cream coffee. Take away.” A customer said and I smiled, looking up at him.

“Sure-” I lost for my words as I met with his dark eyes. They were dark and luring and he smirked. He has a smooth and long hair for a guy and skin that is milky white. I cleared my throat and smiled. “Sure,” I repeated and started to make the coffee.

“I don’t want it to be too sweet or too bitter.” He said. I frowned. A coffee is bitter and if you don’t want it to be bitter you have to put creamer and sugar thus it’ll be sweet.

“Aniya, I have to make it right so he’ll come again.” I said to myself and put a good amount of creamer and sugar into it. I stirred it quickly and put on the cover and handed the coffee to him.

“It’s 3000 won.” I said trying my best not to stutter. Surely he can’t hear my heartbeats right?

He gave me three notes of 1000 won and nodded abruptly at me. He took the cup and left the café. I sighed. No thank you at all?

“Thank you and come again!” I called out at him. I pouted.

“Tch, he’s only good looking but has no manners at all.” I grumbled as I took the cleaning rag again and started wiping the counter. After a while, I sighed and put a hand under my chin.

“Is he going to return?” I wondered aloud.

“Aren’t you supposed to be working?” a man’s voice startled me and I looked up, panicked. It took me a while to recognize him since he was wearing a mask and a scarf around his neck and when I did, I threw the rag at him as I pouted.

“You scared me, oppa.” I said and he chuckled. “Six coffees and make it sweet.” He said. Yunho oppa didn’t say anything while I was making their coffee. He was busy promoting and he dropped by at my part-time place was a touching thing for me.

“Here,” I said. “18000 won.” I said.

“Jang Mi yah, I don’t have money.” He said and I rolled my eyes at him. He laughed and gave me 50 000 won.

“Keep the change.” He said and pinched my cheek before taking the coffee and left the café. I chuckled at how he tried to be a really good brother when he is already one.

Two hours later, I took my pay and ran slipping among the crowd like an eel to reach SM building earlier. Practice will start in 15 minutes and I would like to catch my breath and warmed up before it started.

“Uh-” I grunted as I fell flat on my and looked up, ready to apologize if he/she is older than me or scold if he/she is younger than me. To my surprise, it was the guy from the coffee shop and I gaped, pointing at him.

“It’s rude to gawk and point at someone.” He said coldly. I mumbled and apology and stood up. ‘He didn’t even help me to get up,’ I thought.

“So, were you following me?” he asked cockily, tilted his head to the side smirking.

“Huh?” I asked. “Sorry?”

“I hate repeating myself.” He said. “Were you following me?” he repeated, a bit impatient.

“Why would I?” I asked bewildered.

“You looked like you’re interested in me.” He shrugged. My jaw dropped. Was he serious?

“I trained here.” I said defensively.

“Annyeong.” He said and left. I stood there for a minute and turned to look at his back in disbelief.

“He surely doesn’t have manners and quite rude…” I mumbled. “But he’s still handsome~” I sighed dreamily.

“Aigoo Jung Jangmi, you always fall for bad guys.” I said scolding myself. “Aish, cold!” I exclaimed and quickly ran into the building to start my trainee life.
