"alright! we're here kids!" your mom said way too happily holding the hand of your 9 year old sister

you sighed as you looked up at the gigantic sign 

Barnes & Nobles

its not that you had anything against the book store, it was nice, and you loved books

its just when your school forced you into reading boring books during the summer, you weren't really up for it

you sighed again as you walked towards the doors and looked at your list of books

"its just 4 books... i'll find them then get a frap from starbucks and just leave" you nodded to yourself and proceeded to the information counter and asked the lady to help you find the books

"you know what? i'll just get all the books for you. Just wait here and i'll be back in a few"

"seriously?? thank you so much!" you smiled and her as she walked to the back of the store

you walked away from the counter and looked for your mom and sister

"oh " you remembered as you bumped into a nearby table

you don't have your glasses

you were as blind as a bat and you know your supposed to have your glasses on everywhere you go

(but those glasses were hideous)

plus being close to legally blind did not help your situation at all

you looked at the blurry blobs of color and remembered your mom was wearing a neon green shirt

"alright... i can do this... just walk forward and don't run into anything" you told yourself as you bumped into your 3rd table

 

 

[boy pov]

"hmm all these new releases are the same" he sighed as he put the book back on the shelf and looked around

then a girl caught his attention

she not only walked funny but

her facial expression was blank and she seemed to be looking into thin air as she walked

might explain why she's bumping into every table around her

he smiled as he watched her walk into the back of the section he was looking

"shes so cute" he watched as you felt a wall and sighed as you slid down and sat with your head in your arms

"maybe she's lost? but how do you get lost in a book store?" he asked himself as he saw you stand back up and walk towards him with that same blank expression

"hm? where is she going now?"

 

 

[your pov]

you walked to the "from screen to pages" section of the store and sighed as you leaned against a wall in the corner of the section

you worked up your courage and started walking again but this time you bumped into a different wall

before you could regain your balance you were already sitting on the floor 

"oh my god i am so sorry" you heard the blur infront of you say

"its okay... really its my fault for not wearing my glasses" you started to get up but with your gracefullness you bumped your head on a table and sat back down and almost died of laughter

"oh no, let me help you" you heard the blur try to hold back a smile and saw a hand reach out for you

the man (you assumed with the ridiculously low voice) took your hand and supported your waist with the other as he helped you up

"thank you" you whispered as you blushed like a tomato when you noticed the hand on your waist

"your welcome, my name's Chanyeol by the way" you could see his face because damn

he was close

and hot

"my name is...[y/n]" you blushed even more when he smiled

"thats a pretty name" he looked so goofy but hot at the same time and you were just so confused

he let you go after noticing your blush and he smiled even more

he took your hand and guided you to the back of the section where you were before

you smiled and both of you sat against the wall on the floor and started talking

"so you can't see anything? like how bad?" he looked at you in awe

"well im almost legally blind. my doctor said i could never take my glasses off but they make me look disgusting"

"i highly doubt that with such a pretty face like yours"

you couldn't find any words and just smiled 

you both found some interesting books and started reading

after a couple minutes you were so tired from walking around the store that you were falling asleep

Chanyeol looked down and found your head bobbing up and down and smiled again

"so cute"

he guided your head onto his shoulder and let you fall asleep

he then took his coat off and put it on you to make sure you didn't get cold

"there" he saw the book in your hands and looked where your fingers left off in your reading

'and he turned the pages... the pages in my book of life'   he read and looked at you

"i'll protect your book... i promise"

 

you woke up to find yourself leaning on a bookshelf with a coat on you and a bag with a book and note in it

"can we start a chapter together?" and a phone number under it

you smiled as you looked at the note

"yes"

because God knows i didnt do justice on that prompt

i swear tho barnes and nobles have some hotties up in there

oh well theres nothing i can do except make a fanfic out of it with my bias instead of some random guy xD
