When the third-year students of Seoul Senior High School are asked to write down their final high school wishes, two seniors both wish to find love before the year comes to an end. Though they are sworn enemies, they must unite forces in order to win the hearts of their crushes.

Characters

Park Joy

Joy is a third-year student at Seoul Senior High School. She is the class representative of 3-1 and ranks at number two out of all the seniors. She wishes to study abroad at Stanford University and eventually become a surgeon. She has a crush on Min Yoon Gi but has no idea how to approach him since she’s never had a boyfriend before. To save up for college, Joy works part-time at a cafe called Red Velvet.

Yook Sungjae

Sungjae is a third-year student at Seoul Senior High School and is the class clown/biggest slacker of 3-1. He and Joy annoy each other to no end because he always wreaks havoc and she always reprimands him for it. Though everyone perceives him as the guy who will never go far in life, Sungjae is actually one of the smartest kids at Seoul Sr. High. He has had a crush on Irene ever since she chased away his bullies for him back in elementary school, calling her his first and only love.

Min Yoon Gi

Yoon Gi is a third-year student at Seoul Senior High School. He ranks as number one of the entire school, much to Joy’s chagrin. Not only is he smart, but he’s also athletic (standing as a three-time varsity basketball player), wealthy, and artistic. He wants to study business in order to appease his overbearing parents, but his true passion lies in music, specifically in producing. Joy has a crush on Yoon Gi (like every other girl at Seoul Sr. High), but unfortunately, this guy doesn’t date girls that go to the same school as him.

Bae Irene

Irene is a Seoul Senior High School alumnus and second-year student at Soong Eui Women’s College majoring in elementary education. She lives by herself in an apartment near her school and works part-time as a waitress and model. During her time at Seoul Sr. High, Irene was ranked as number one ulzzang--a title she didn’t necessarily hate, but wasn’t entirely fond of either.

Supporting Characters

Kim Yeri

Yeri is a third-year student at Seoul Senior High School and is in class 3-1 with her best friend Joy. She loves covering kpop girl group dances and hasn’t quite figured out yet what she wants to do after graduation.

Son Wendy

Wendy is a Seoul Senior High School alumnus and second-year student at Seoul Institute of the Arts (SeoulArts) majoring in music. Wendy has traveled quite a bit in her lifetime, growing up in the US/Canada before returning to Korea a few years ago. She’s also really talented, as proven by her skilled voice and ability to play the piano, guitar, flute, and saxophone. She’s roommates with her best friend Seulgi.

Kang Seulgi

Seulgi is a Seoul Senior High School alumnus and second-year student at Seoul Institute of the Arts (SeoulArts) majoring in theater. With her beautiful voice and experience in performing, she aspires to be a musical actress working in Broadway (at least the Korean version) one day. She’s roommates with her best friend Wendy.
