Jung Soojung has always loved Kim Jongin from afar ever since the 1st grade, despite being the successor to the royal throne and every materialistic girl's dream, there was something different about him which the girl was fascinated by, hence she always took an interest in being close to him as possible. But what could she offer? She was but a mere commoner with a granted scholarship with two working-class parents, she wasn't "princess" material, nor was she popular— she was just herself. Then the day of her dreams had come in third grade, as he sat right down beside her! With that being said, the two developed into being the best of friends which meant Soojung became quite the "big news" with the papparazzi and her life drastically changed onwards from there.

She didn't want his help, power or money— but what she really wanted was him. So she embraced the "elite" culture becoming one herself— but along with that popularity made her selfish, clingy, stingy and deceptive which was very much different to the girl before, she became the "villain" or the more proper term, the "antagonist". Jongin seemed to notice within the future of her change in attitude through situations, but he never shouted, never avoided her, never gave up on her, he only took care of her giving up possible love interests and friendships. Though that didn't mean he didn't start to doubt her and their trust. He knew of her feelings, he could just know— but he could never feel the same way as much as he tried. But all of a sudden, with his family butting into his lovelife, they had believed it was time for him to marry and their willing chosen candidate? Jung Soojung.

Wait, what? It couldn't be her, as much as he loves her as a friend, it just couldn't be. Of course Soojung was thrilled with the announcement, she didn't think Jongin minded either considering he never tried to stop it. Though little did she know the secrets which Jongin had kept away from her...

JUNG SOOJUNG
otherwise known as the 'antagonist'

She's the newly-made Queenka of Daesan High after being moved so suddenly from her all girl's school by Jongin's parents [ the King and Queen ] as they found that it would be more pleasant to have the two together to become even more "closer" intimately for the big day. Ever since she entered into the elite due to her recognition, her family also gained a higher social status themselves, her mother and sister work in their fashion line "B&E" and her father is a highly paid buisness man in Samsung. Despite living the life of luxury, it's now often that Soojung is alone as her family's schedules are so busy all the time, same going for her. The girl is in love with her best friend— or better of saying, fiancé Kim Jongin. She's beautiful, rich, admirable though she can also be deceptive, greedy, clingy and crude [ to especially those who try and take Jongin away from her ]. Though deep down her cold exterior, she's actually really fragile and needs someone to be there for her, she can still be good you know?

KIM JONGIN
otherwise known as the 'prince'

He may have the warm looks of a puppy, though he's one hell of a girl magnet— in fact he gets almost to about ten confessions sent to him each day which he rejects with no emotion whatsoever, he's never actually had a girlfriend anyways. Jongin is actually reserved and cold, there is a certain amount of people whom he can trust, Soojung being one of them for most things. Sometimes Jongin wishes he could just trade lives with someone, he wants to do something that he would like to do within the future, not have it planned— especially whom he ends up with. As much as he loves Soojung as a friend, he can't feel the same for her which makes it difficult for him to do as he wishes without her around to pry. Jongin is actually pretty secretive, so much he doesn't even tell his friend for 10 years about it. If you actually get to know him, he's caring and considerate, someone you can rely on and someone to listen to your doubts, but sometimes he can even get blinded by one thing. That thing is love.

OH SEHUN
otherwise known as the 'second-lead'

You've all heard about the "second-lead" syndrome, am I right? Well with Oh Sehun, he's no exception to feel the way you should with having seen one. Sehun is a transfer student from another Elite branch academy, he's cool and collected and has a chicness to him which the girls admire and love. He's not in any relation to Soojung at all, with that being said, in future they pair up together in the seating plan for one of their classes just perfectly. Jongin and Sehun are pretty good friends, though Sehun just can't help but feel rather envious of him that he gets everything he wants, Sehun actually has an unfortunate past [ though that'll be revealed later on ]. Though overall Sehun sums up to be a rather sarcastic, humorous and romantic guy, even though he doesn't exactly show it from the amount of rejections he makes a day to girls. But things happen, emotions happen, and Soojung just manages to catch his eye.
