If you asked me twelve months ago if I believed in love, I would have immediately denied the idea.

  If you had told me that I'd find someone who would understand me, I would  have laughed right in your face.

 If I had known coming back home was the greatest thing I could ever think of, I would've came a loong time ago.

 I never knew I would experience real love until I took a trip back to the past where I so fortunately found my future.

The half- conscious girl groaned and sat up in her bed, wondering why the heck someone was calling her at 2:30 jn the morning. Maia clicked the answer button on her phone and held it up to her ear.

    "Hello..." she said irritatedly as she ran a hand through her jet black hair. 

   " Hello...Maia" a rushed feminine voice answered. The moon reflected greatly on the girl's face as it scrunched into confusion.

" Jennie?" 

" Maia...something...happened" her older sister's voice sounded clogged like she was crying.

"Jen what's wrong, what happened?" She was fully awake now, sitting straight up. Her body rippled with worry.

" Mom..Mom's...on the hospital. She's dying, Maia." Jen seemed to start crying even harder when she said the last words. 

 Maia's body froze.

" Jen...I'm coming home."
