But she was brought back into a new life, with new parents and a new identity. Unaware that fate decides to bring her back, she goes on a school trip to Korea. Doubtful that anything will change she takes part in the trip. But when scary flashbacks force themselves back into her memory Hee Seung wants nothing, but to avoid her past as much as possible. This all changes when she meets a boy during her trip.
Kim Jogin.
A guy with a god-like appearance is what fate brings back to Hee Seung. She only has to decide whether to accept him or not.
But that begs the question, is she safe now that she’s crossed paths with Jogin? Or has she entered the danger that he caused in the first place once again?
Foreword
“Kim Jogin?” My voice was shaky and I could feel my hands trembling.
The person let their hands fall from their face and they looked up at me. It was Jogin.
Quickly he stood up, but he looked like he had been crying. I could see his hands were shaking too. It made me feel relived to know that he felt as nervous as I was. “Hee Seung?”
“Yeah it is”, clearly we were going to continue speaking in Korean so I decided to accept the fact.
Then he decided to surprise me by saying, “C-c-can I hug you?” He struggled to say.
My heart began to soften towards him. I felt like I needed a hug too and at the same time I was beginning to trust Jogin. “Alright” I said softly.
His expression brightened, “Really?”
“Yeah course” I gave him a small smile.
He pulled me into a hug. It was warm and relief began to flood back into me. I felt so safe in his embrace that I didn’t want to let go. I could hear Jogin sigh behind my back and he placed a hand on my hair. Slowly, he began to stoke it, as if I was a small porcelain doll that could have fallen apart at any moment.
“I’ve missed you so much” He was the first to speak after a few silent moments had passed. He spoke gently and slowly, not wanting to break the moment.
I sighed, “I think I have too” I finally admitted to both Jogin and myself.
