Jung Taekwoon was born into a line of noble pureblood vampires. His family had a few clashes with the humans in the past from frames that one of the vampires had turned a human into one of them which never happened. He was always a quiet type of person, never seeming to take part in conversations unless he had too. He was always taught to keep his family honour as a pureblood vampire and always keep his pose. Being a pureblood, he was one of the very few direct descendants of the first vampires and this pressured him to stick to the traditional ways and rules. If there was one thing that scared him, it was the humans.

Soojung had always believed that she was nothing other than human. After all, she was born into a perfectly ordinary family with an ordinary life. No one in her family had to deal with being bitten by vampires, haunted by werewolves, or the other mysterious creatures that she’d only heard tales about.
No one in her family was breaking the rules or involved in the war between the mortals and the supernaturals.
Or at least, that’s what she’d thought.
It never occurred to her that her parents were in fact breaking rules, or that her neighbors — the soft-spoken, amiable, kind-hearted people who’d given her cookies every once in a while — breached her residence premises in order to punish them all.
It never crossed her mind that she was the product of broken rules and passion, that she would never be included in neither category of classification for what she was.
Jung Soojung was to remain an outsider forever for her existence as punishment.
