the home maid cafe is a maid cafe located in hongdae, south korea, established by the jeon family in late 2014 with the idea of making the customers feel more welcome and like the were at home while spending their time there. rather than a maid cafe, the home maid cafe is your average cafe with little to no customers visiting from time to time due to the lack of female employees present to live up to the maid cafe name. after the owners of the home maid cafe go to hawaii for their second honeymoon, they leave their socially awkward son abandoned in hongdae, to man the cafe for only god knows how long and with the help of his only otaku friend, the two put up posters on grocery store and post advertisements on the internet and miraculously manage to recruit a small number of employees to help out at the home maid cafe but whether or not this turns out for the better or worse is still unknown so let's find out, shall we?
