Description

Park Sena is the new girl in town. Just like all other new girls, she’s struggling (kinda?) to cope up with the new environment around her. She only has her half-brother half-enemy, Park Jimin by her side, at the very least. For her, Genie High is the game-changer of her life. From boring and ordinary to extraordinarily ordinary.

That moment when your description doesn't connect with your title. WTF.

Foreword

First day. Don’t you just hate hearing what it’s like during the first day? You don’t? What a shame. I was thinking otherwise. The first day of school is literally like crap to be honest. It’s not like all those stuff you see or read. They be tellin’ you a bunch of lies. And all those horrid things they tell you like you’d get lost or somethin’ which basically you wouldn’t really if you’re just not that clumsy and forgetful enough.

Speaking of clumsy, those things they tell you about all those bumping these super popular handsome dudes that ends up falling for you in the end isn’t actually true. Who actually believes that?

“I do,” Jimin interrupted as I was muttering under my breath while reading something on my phone that really pissed me off. “What are you blabbering about anyway?”

“Can’t you just shut up and let me be?” I told him

As I was saying, these clumsy stupid girls claiming themselves to be nerds carrying loads of books who accidentally bumps into guys and does this usual fluff thing. I ain’t buying that. Who brings books at the first day anyway? Trust me it’s like a huge mistake. Been there done that.

On behalf of the nerds out there, you must be literally cringing every time. It hurts for people like us to be underestimated like that. Also, he picked up all your books what are you going to be mad about anyway? We don’t usually go all out like that right? Like duh, we literally keep our cool to ourselves. The fluff phony girl doesn’t even know how to say thanks!

“Really?” Jimin interrupted once again. Don’t you just hate people like that? Oh wait! Everyone loves him anyway. Except perhaps me.

“I’m telling you for the tenth time since this morning, shut up! You little son of a b-” Everyone turned to look at the two of us who are currently fighting at the backseat. They were muttering and whispering and stuff like that. They’re also pointing. Why are they pointing? I looked at him and he’s already crying. Goodness! He is such an actor.

“Here,” I jammed my handkerchief to his hand. “Don’t cry. You’re like the ugliest person on earth. It’s hideous.” One second he was kidding around me, making snide remarks about my judgments, and now he's what? Maybe I just hate him so much but come on, how can someone cry that fast? Even I can't due to the fact that I'm like -What do you call this? What do they call me again?- the b word.

“Don’t call me that. Even if I don’t understand English... I know…” He continued to sniff and sob. God, he’s so ugly.

“Oh come on! It’s just an expression. Don’t be such a baby. You’re older than me for goodness sake!” I exclaimed. "Can't you just let it go?" The bus came to a halt a few minutes later. Slowly, students began to collect their luggage and walk towards the school.

“Come on. Let’s go.” He slowly got up and collected his bags and I followed him to the grounds, then we walked towards Genie High. Our new home for the next ten months or so.

That's how I started my first day. It wasn't grand or anything. And, I ain't even starting on those freaking introductions.
