Chapter 1: 'Boys Cry Too'

It had  been Twelve years since Tiffany last went on holiday to South Korea but she still remebered every single little bit of it, including Peble Boy too...she was not a little five year old toddler now and had grown to become a beautiful, kind and beloved seventeen-year-old amongst the Los Angeles community. Tiffany was sitting on her bedroom window watching the rain pitter and patter down from the gloomy sky, to her now, everything seemed so gloomy. 

It had only been last week that she had been informed from her family that she would have to move by herself to live with her dad's sister and her cousin who was called 'Jania' to South Korea- she would have been excited but there were a few things that made her frightened...first of all, she was scared that her mother would be sad seeing as she was the youngest and the only child left at home (Sammy was married and now lived in Japan and Darlene was also married and now lived in Philippines) and second of all, she had never met her Dad's sister and Jania in her life!

She sighed to herself and got off the window pane to go downstaires where there was a little friends and family meeting- All of the community were there, Karen and Joe O'Donoghue and their little twins- Hannah and Alisa, Sangyeon and Juyeon (The engaged couple)...the list went on and on until she saw- 'of course they'd come' Tiffany laughed inside her  brain- Darren Hester, her best friend and mortal enemy and his parents. He came up to her and gave her a big warm hug

"Don't cry" She said "You'll make me cry if you do too!" 

"Boys can cry too you know!" He choked, wiping his eyes with a tissue 

"I know" She soothed and patted his back, she had known Darren like a brother even if he got more stupid and annoying and slighty perfy the more he grew up! She still loved him  

"Don't forget to call me when you get to South Korea OK?" He said flicking her head

"Ouch!" She groaned "I will of course! I'll be ringing you every five minutes when i get to the airport!" 

Darren laughed 

"I'm sooo empty without you"

"Enough with the pickup lines you jerk" She teased but deep down inside, she felt the same way, she was feeling extremely empty even if everyone was with her right now, it felt like her body was here in America but her mind was all the way in South Korea, she held back her tears and put on a smile to make everyone else happy around her...

Little by little, the house began to rinse until there were only the Hesters left in the house 

"Well Tiffany" Said Mrs Hester with tears in her eyes "I know you will do well so i don't think i need to wish you luck but i'll do it anyway...I Wish you Luck OK? We will all miss you- Especially Darren of course!" 

Tiffany felt as if her heart would explode from that simple sentence, this had been the place she had grew up, she knew she couldn't leave without shedding a single tear at the least! Tiffany gave Mrs Hester a hug and Mr Hester too, she gave Darren a very tight hug, dripping tears into his shoulder 

"I'm going to miss you so much!" She cried "I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me, thankyou thankyou thankyou" 

"Anything for my Slingshot target" Smiled Darren through pink eyes and a wet face 

And they were the las
