Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same
they say the moment you make physical contact with that of your soulmate, the world will burst into colour and you will no longer perceive everything in monochrome. the black, white and grey tones that your eyes had gotten accustomed to from birth will have disappeared and be replaced with what others would would describe as fluorescence, iridescence, opulence, psychedelic- terms you would not have understood until you witnessed the world change colour before your very eyes. when that happens, you would be able to see and differentiate between colours and what's more is that, you would have met your soumate; the one whom you were destined to be with. of course, the colours don't stay when you're alone but when you are there side by side and touching your soulmate, oh what a time it is to be alive. ah but nowadays, people don't have the time to go around touching others. they aren't desperate to see colour as much as they were in the past. the world has moved on from the concept of soulmates and few believe in finding the one. monotone is reality and colour is a dream, a very distant dream.

uh the description is so lame, cliche and cheesy but I hope you were able to understand how I was attempting to portray the concept of all the soulmate things and all that. greetings, I go by the fab username of bokuto and this here is an ot12!exo-centric au!soulmate applyfic. I really love the idea of soulmates and this colour one was just one of the many concepts of soulmates that I adored. moving on, I hope this applyfic will tickle your fancy omg who says that anymore. I won't be choosing eleven applicants because I am no applyfic god and I don't think I can handle 24 characters but who knows. I also changed it to physical contact instead of eye contact because of this tumblr post- I love it (thank u chadols for the link)
