"Right, that's a wrap everyone! Thank you very much for your hardwork!" 

Finally! The shooting was finished successfully as the day went dark. Gong Seungyeon felt like her body was being pushed to her limit, her bones seemed like cracking, and not to forget that her body felt so numb. She bowed to everyone in the set, and eventually walked to her waiting room along with her manager. Everyone was congratulating how much improvement she had gotten after her initial acting career two years ago. Although she was tired, she couldn’t help but to smile and saying multiple times of thanks toward the production staffs and fellow actors and actresses. Soon after she arrived, her manager gave her a bottle of mineral water. Gosh, she needs that so much. No. Scratch that. She needs to rest.

“Thank you, manager-nim … I feel so tired today,” she wiped the sweat on her forehead that appeared when she walked to the waiting room.

"Seungyeon, are you okay? You seemed pale. Rest early today okay?" Her manager said, patting her back while giving Seungyeon her bag and stuff. Seungyeon slowly drank from the bottle. Both of them eventually walked together to their car after bowing and saying thanks to everyone that they met along in the way.

"Ne, I will be okay ... Thank you, manager-nim," she nodded while giving a small smile to her manager who smiled to her back.

Everyone who knows Seungyeon would tell you that she is a sweet, caring, friendly and thoughtful person. Initially people might think of her as too stiff and innocent, and befitted her nickname: bear. Her close friends thought she was a warm person, proactive and slightly more optimistic than she looks. All in all, Seungyeon's unmistakable good qualities are what made people attracted to her. It wasn’t that common to find such sparkling qualities in one package; especially inside of the entertainment world these days. Another plus point for Seungyeon is that she is a gorgeous beauty who doesn’t need make-up or even plastic surgery to make people fawn over her. She wasn’t even that well-aware that her appearance was something people would envy for.

She is certainly not your regular mary-sue (Could she even be categorized as mary-sue in the first place?). And her fans liked her because of that. She realized she was imperfect, and she was honest with her feelings.

"I will be buying you a Jjangmyeon okay? Be sure to eat it with your vitamins," her manager assured her while calling for the restaurant to make a delivery.

She nodded and smiled as a reply. There was nothing so dominating that filled her mind other than the softness and comfortable bed, companied with her dogs, Nanan and Ppseong that will cuddle her as they release her from this thickening stress. Slowly drifting to slumber, checking her SNS, while typing texts and replying a certain person … There would always be that one person who could make her charged even if it is only slightly, only just because he talks to her in the night. Her heart throbs as she was reminded that both of them aren’t in the same show anymore.

"Oh, I forgot … Oppa recommended me this book, but I forgot to bring it to the studio to read ... pabo," she murmured while sighing, mentally facepalming herself while saying jinjjaaa!! After she remembered about their conversation a week ago, "Next time I will be sure to bring it with me, I want to finish reading it soon, so I could talk about it with oppa.” 

After seeing that Seungyeon was playing with her phone and slightly more relaxed, her manager was scrolling through her phone; checking Seungyeon’s schedule and strolling through the SNS. Her manager smiled while grinning, “Ah, Seungyeon-nie, I saw in the news that CNBLUE had came back from their World Tour? Does that mean Jonghyun-ssi had also come back to Korea?”

Jonghyun-ssi. Lee Jonghyun. Jonghyun-oppa. Oppa—

The name was no longer foreign in her ears. Remembering his name had made her face slightly redder, and a smile was pulled wider, revealing an enchanting smile that said person really likes. To be able to meet this man in her life, it was really is a miracle as people have said. She didn’t deny that a bit, it was really really lucky of her to be able to meet such man. If only she was not recruited by the Producer-nim that time … Or if she gave up halfway after numerous, uncountable of failing auditions … She wouldn’t be able to know him, moreover, she wouldn’t get the result of her all those 7 years working hard in a certain agency.

She really remembered her first encounter with him. Of course, the very day that her We Got Married first episode shooting done, Jonghyun exchanged his number with her. After they did the exchange, he smiled with his dimples so deep she couldn't help but to cringe and chuckle at it as he bluntly stated (his fans always said he was, at least, that blunt) with his signature chuckle: "I am interested with you, Gong Seungyeon-shi. I hope you don't hate me." 

That enough already made her heart throbbed. She already felt like she was shot by a cupid arrow through her heart. Even before she was reminded that this was a show, she couldn’t help but to feel blur between what is real and what is not. She had even asked around whether Lee Jonghyun was a player or not; but she eventually found him as someone with even greater qualities and felt ashamed because she initially thought so. He is really straightforward and honest to his feeling; he is so pure and dependable. That said it was his good plethora features of himself that made Seungyeon attracted to him. Seungyeon really liked that kind of men; men who could lead her on without letting her feel so disraught and leftout. But he found Jonghyun to be something even greater. Jonghyun-oppa was someone that took care of her, outside and inside of the set. Although it was true that he could be clueless sometimes, but not everybody is perfect and Seungyeon loves his flaws. After all, it was not like she was a perfect human being too; Jonghyun was able to tolerate, and even helping her to fix her flaws. The same goes to her for him. Both of them are compensating with each other.

Even outside of the show, they were texting, even talking to each other. They liked each other’s photos, and not seldom they privately messaged each other in SNS. Although they found it regrettable that they stopped commenting on each other’s photos after he found out it would be really bad for her situation if his fans were starting to dislike her. Jonghyun had a brilliant idea on asking his manager’s help to be able to comment and look through Seungyeon’s SNS with his account instead; so no one would really bother the both of them.

Breaking her chain of thoughts, her phone suddenly vibrated. She was surprised because she was actually taking her time walking while remembering about Jonghyun and their We Got Married episodes; and how fun it was until at that time they felt really sad because the show had inevitably came to an end. A lot of their fans were in deep sadness because of their parting in the last episode around a year ago. Although the show had ended, both of them still continue on with their relationship underground, trying to hide from the public’s eyes. Although she may said it is a relationship, they haven’t confessed to each other yet. Seungyeon did not know whether he really think of her that way, though she was really grateful on the condition she has now with him.

It was saddening to see that their fans were in grieve because in public they were no longer interacting as much, but Jonghyun said it was for the sake of her new career. “You will need this Seungyeon-ah, trust me.” She does trust him, and they are still getting along fine. Of course, there were some bad articles regarding their relationship after WGM, saying that their relationship was a fake, and very well-scripted one at that. They were scrutinized for being able to show the public that they look real while they are not. Both of them feel bad about this, and were often asked in some shows. As planned, they were trying to avoid the topic instead of answering it; though one time Jonghyun said that they are still contacting with each other to straight some bad-written articles. What made her feel better was that their fans were defending them.  

Stopping her train of thoughts, she checked on the new message as she smiled wide.

"Seungyeon !! Are you busy?"  it was from Jonghyun. She quickly typed a reply.
"Wae oppa? Is something wrong?" 

For a while, she waited for his usual reply as she put her phone back in.  After for a while, her phone vibrated and rang; Jonghyun-oppa was calling her. She hurriedly and picked it up after she sat down inside of her car.

"Annyeong, Seungyeon-ah. If you are not busy, I have this crazy idea. Listen ..." 
"Anneyong, oppa. I have just finished my shooting, so what crazy idea? But first … Have you rest and eat enough? Please don’t strain yourself."

She reminded him of his health from time to time, since his schedule was so hectic, and the last time she knew he was sick was because in he looked so pale in his SNS pictures. Although, dismissing his health issue, she was honestly curious about this sudden idea. It was not so often that Jonghyun calls her after texting her. Usually they are only texting and calling when it is really necessary.

"Ahaha, gomawo~ I will be okay, so far there is no issue …”
“Jinjja? Thank goodness … Oh, I heard you are already back to Korea, oppa? How was Los Angeles?~”
“Yeah, my bandmates and I are already back to Korea. Oh, L.A is a really great city, it has a lot of things that I could use as inspiration for my new songs. And we will be having a short break until this weekend …”
“Ahh, that is good to hear~ I hope you have a good week oppa! Don’t forget to eat your vitamins, the weather is not that good lately in Seoul …”
“Ne … Don’t worry too much Seungyeon-ah—“

There is a stagnant pause as Seungyeon keeps listening to the conversation with care, "Minhyuk was telling us this strange idea while we were in the airport when we were waiting for our departure. He was saying something about being a ninja, and how we could stroll around in the public without anyone noticing.”

“Wah … Being a ninja? You mean … being undercover? I knew from my seniors, they also tried to undercover themselves so they could do shopping and their groceries without detected by the fans …”
“Right! That’s why Jungshin had made me this brilliant idea …”
“Okay oppa, just spill it already~ I am really curious.”
“So I was thinking … How about both of us try to be ninjas for a day? That sounded fun, isn’t it? We could hang out without anyone noticing. I had this free time tomorrow, are you still busy with your drama?”

Seungyeon’s mouth formed an ‘O’, she was honestly surprised because of this idea. Both of them didn’t think about this, and unexpectedly it was something that most Korean celebrities used to make themselves blend into the public, “Oppa, please wait … I wanted to confirm my schedule with my manager first …”

“Sure do Seungyeon-ah, I will be waiting,” their phone line was still intact while Seungyeon asked her manager.
“Manager-nim, do I have the schedule for tomorrow …?”
“Hmm? Are you thinking of getting a free time tomorrow, Seungyeon-ah?”
“Ne … Do I have free sessions tomorrow, though?”
“Sadly …” Her manager was scrolling through the schedule in the phone, “You have one photoshooting in the morning, though the rest of the day, you could take a break.”
“Ahhh, I see … Thank you, manager-nim~”

She took the phone to her ears again as she talked once more to Jonghyun, “Oppa … I can go but …”

“Mhmm?”
“Tomorrow morning I have model photoshooting … Would it be okay if we hang out in the afternoon?”
“Ahh, its okay of course, Seungyeon! I will be picking you up in the photoshoot studio then?”
“W-Wah? Would it be really okay though oppa—?“
“Don’t worry about it~ I have a plan, just trust me, Seungyeon. Tomorrow we have to have some fun, ne?”

She smiled when he said that. She will always trust him regarding this kind of matter.

“Okay oppa… I will be texting you the address after I arrive in home, okay?”
“Yeap Seungyeon-ah. You too, don’t get too tired okay? Take your time off today. It’s late already…”
“Ne oppa~ have a good night~ Good job on the World Tour!”
“Heheh … gomawo, Seungyeon-ah. Good night … See you tomorrow~”

After Seungyeon arrived at her apartment, she said thank you and goodbye to her manager as she got inside. As the night passed through, she hugged both of her two children while texting Jonghyun the address of where she would be tomorrow. She couldn’t help but to feel excited on what would become of both of them tomorrow. The simple idea of being ninjas are something intriguing, and something they would like to use to make them hang out often, without the public and envious melons trying to break them apart.
