Helloo fellow readers! These are the very sorry authors of Complicated Connections. We're sorry we didn't update in a very long time. Two of the authors went to the fabulous KCON 2015 so we couldn't write the next chapter just yet. Then we just got out of the habit of updating but now we're back! So please read it and enjoy ur seeelvesss~ hehe Hopefully, we’ll be updating more frequently now like we used to. As the three girls walk inside, they text everyone if they are already at the meeting place.

 

Group Chat

 

Hey are you guys in front of the mall? – MinHee

 

Yeah we see you guys. Just turn to your right. – Jimin

 

End of group chat

 

The girls turned to their right like Jimin said and saw everyone waving. They run to them and immediately start telling them the plan so they don’t waste time.

 

Okay so here’s the plan. Jungkook your going to try and get SunHi’s backpack and run to the store's dressing room were in. You're gonna slide the backpack under and we’ll slide one that looks exactly like SunHi’s. – Aeyoung

 

Why am I the one doing this? – Jungkook

 

Because you’re the only other person closest to SunHi other than us. – MinHee

 

True. – Jungkook

 

Wait. I thought you two were suppose to follow Mark and SunHi around. – MinHee said pointing at DK and Joshua

 

Yeah but now there just eating at the food court so we just went here. – DK

 

Ohhh. Okay. - MinHee

 

Okay were going to be in Aero. In the first dressing room. – RaeLin

 

Oh don’t worry about the trouble we’ll tell them and stuff. – MinHee

 

Everyone nods. Jungkook goes to Aero and hides in dressing room. He sprints to the food court and searches for SunHi. He finds them eating burgers and goes behind SunHi and taps her shoulder.

 

Hello. – Jungkook

 

Ahsbdjsfhekaj! You freaking scared me. – SunHi

 

Can I borrow your backpack for a sec. I need to look for my picture I left in there. – Jungkook

 

Oh okay. – SunHi gives Jungkook her backpack only to see him sprinting away.

 

At first she was confused, but then tells Mark to pack all the food while she runs after Jungkook. After 5 minutes of running, he yells that he’s coming and to get prepared. When he reached the dressing room they were in, they switched the bags. Jungkook then saw that SunHi was near so he said to just let him in.

 

They let him in but started to panic. MinHee then had an idea. She told everyone to get on the bench so that she won’t see anyone’s legs. MinHee took the pair of jeans that someone left in the dressing room and pretended to try it on because she was wearing shorts.

 

Your really smart. – DK whispered

 

Thanks but hurry up and look for the phone! – MinHee whispered yelled

 

As they were searching, the bag they can hear Mark and SunHi roam around the store.

 

I swear I saw Jungkook run into here. – SunHi

 

Well let’s look around. He probably is just hiding or something. – Mark

 

SunHi and Mark started checking the dressing rooms. Meanwhile, the others we're freaking out inside the dressing room.

 

MinHee took off the pants and threw it over the door asking for a smaller size in a very light voice.

 

Excuse me? – SunHi said as she was knocking on their door.

 

Everyone quickly covered their mouths so they won’t make any noise.

 

Yes? – MinHee said in a light voice

 

Have you seen a guy run in here with a blue backpack? – SunHi

 

No I haven’t. Sorry. – MinHee said but cracking her voice at the end.

 

MinHee mentally sweared at herself hoping that SunHi won’t find out. Everyone started to panic thinking that they’ll get found out. Aeyoung tried to make sure that they didn’t make noise.

 

Oh okay thank you. – SunHi

 

She then went to ask a worker but she said they didn’t.

 

Everyone let out a sigh right after she left the store.

 

That was freaking close. – Joshua

 

I know. I was starting to sweat because I got nervous and my voice just had to crack. – MinHee

 

Yeah , but how did you think of that plan? – RaeLin

 

It's happened before. It worked so I thought it would work in this situation too. – MinHee

 

Ohhhh~ - Everyone

 

But did you guys find the phone? – Aeyoung

 

It’s not in here. – Jimin

 

Aish. Wait before you give it back does she have any gum in there? – MinHee

 

Yeah. Here. – Jungkook throws the gum to MinHee

 

Good. Now go return it. – MinHee

 

Wait I said I left a picture in her bag. But I don’t have a picture. – Jungkook says with a worried expression.

 

Here let me take you're picture. You’re lucky that I brought my Polaroid with me. – RaeLin

 

Thank the lord. – Everyone

 

Everyone gets out of the way so it’s only Jungkook. He gets the picture and runs after SunHi to give her back her backpack.

 

Okay if it’s not in SunHi’s bag it’s in one of their pockets. – Aeyoung

 

So you guys think of a way to get the phone back and then once you get the phone run to the front of the Mall. – MinHee

 

Okay. – All the guys say

 

The three girls run to the front of the mall and wait for the guys to return. The guys run to find SunHi and Mark.

 

They decided to just wing it. Joshua, since he is the closest with Mark out of the guys, goes up to Mark and started patting his right pocket to feel for the phone.

 

Bruh, are you gay or something? – Mark

 

Nah. Just saying hi. – Joshua

 

Can you just say hi?– Mark removes Joshua's hand.

 

Joshua notices that he can’t feel a phone on the right side. He knows it’s not in the back pockets so it has to be in the left pocket. When he had the chance he shoved his hand in Mark's pocket and grabbed the phone. After getting it out, he sprinted towards the front of the mall. Mark, who was about to go after him, was blocked by Jimin, DK, and Jungkook.

 

Hey how’s it going? – Jimin said putting his arm around Mark, making him walk the opposite way.

 

Joshua reached the front of the Mall and ran towards the girls.

 

I got it! – Joshua

 

Throw it here. – Aeyoung.

 

Joshua threw it towards Aeyoung and she caught it.

 

Noticing something wrong, she noticed it was apple not android.

 

This isn’t my phone. It’s Marks. – Aeyoung

 

But since they had the chance Aeyoung unlocked his phone and went to his pictures. Aeyoung then got all the pictures she wanted and sent them to MinHee and then deleted the message.

 

For later. – Aeyoung said smirking

 

The other 2 girls just laughed.

 

How did you know his pass? – MinHee

 

It was simple. His pass was SunHi. – Aeyoung

 

Wow. – MinHee

 

We should probably give it back now. – RaeLin

 

Aeyoung nodded and gave the phone to Joshua to give back to Mark. He sprinted back to where Mark was and handed him his phone.

 

Hey sorry about that man.  – Joshua

 

It’s good. Just don’t do that again. – Mark

 

Yeah. – Joshua

 

Joshua signaled the other guys that it wasn’t Aeyoung’s phone. Everyone one then looked at Jungkook hinting that it’s probably in SunHi’s pocket and that he should be the one to do it.

 

Aish, fine. – Jungkook

 

Jungkook went to SunHi’s side and threw his arm around her shoulder.

 

So why are you here alone with Mark hyung? – Jungkook

 

SunHi’s eyes widened and she started turning bright red.

 

Uh. N-nothing. We just saw each other here. – SunHi

 

Oh really? Then why are you stuttering and red? – Jungkook

 

SunHi was gonna say something but gave up.

 

I know you to well. – Jungkook said glancing at her pockets

 

Jungkook noticed that there were 2 phones. Knowing that Aeyoung’s phone was bigger, he knew it was on her left side. Opposite from where he’s standing.

 

He slowly switched sides and then grabbed the phone.

 

I'm going to borrow your phone. – Jungkook yells while running

 

That isn’t my phone!!! – SunHi

 

Everyone else runs away to meet the girls.

 

I got your phone! – Jungkook says handing Aeyoung her phone

 

Mission complete! – Aeyoung

 

The others arrive but only seeing Mark and SunHi  running towards them.

 

Run to the car! – Jungkook

 

The three girls and Jungkook run to the parking garage and take the stairs to the 5th floor. They reached the 5th floor then collapsed and started panting.

 

Why in the world did we take the stairs instead of the elevator?!?- Jungkook

 

These 2 don’t like the elevator and it would take more time. – MinHee

 

As they were catching there breath, they hear the rest running up the stairs.

 

Come on let’s get to my car. – Aeyoung

 

They run to Aeyoung's car and hide in it until the rest of them leave. After about 3 minutes, they saw the rest of the guys run up to the 6th floor. 10 minutes later, they see Mark and SunHi go up.

 

Group chat without Mark and SunHi

 

Hurry up and get to your car and let’s meet at Tofu hut. – MinHee

 

Okay. – Joshua

 

Alright. – Jimin

 

We’ll head there now and wait for you guys. – RaeLin

 

Sounds good. – DK

 

End of group chat

 

Aeyoung turns on her car and heads to the exit. 10 minutes later, they arrive at Tofu hut and reserve a booth for 7 people.

 

After about 15 minutes, they rest, arrive, and get seated. They just do the all you can eat and they order there drinks.

 

This is to Victory and success! – Aeyoung

 

Oh I got us all snapbacks while we were at the mall. –MinHee

 

MinHee grabs each snapback one by one and hands them to the respective person.

 

Thanks. – Everyone

 

No problem. Ohh. We all have to wear these snapbacks when we all spy one Mark and SunHi! – MinHee

 

Sure. – Everyone agreed.

 

While they were getting there meats, Jimin say 2 familiar figures heading their way.

 

Hey SunHi and Mark are heading our way. – Jimin

 

Lucky they had a clever seating.

MinHee-DK-Aeyoung-Jungkook

 

(Jimin’s side was facing the door and Jungkook’s side had their backs to the door.)

 

Everyone puts their caps low, covering their faces. RaeLin and Joshua look up at the same time catching each other's eyes. They stare deeply into their souls with their eyes connecting, holding the contact for a little longer. Jimin, on the other hand, notices RaeLin and Joshua's moment. He suddenly gets a burning desire to punch something and jerks his foot against the table, interrupting them.

 

RaeLin and Joshua clear their throats and look away, putting their caps back down.

 

Jimin sees SunHi and Mark coming their way and tells everyone.

 

The three girls decided to slide under the table. With little space, they all managed to fit under and be unnoticeable. They rest of the guys put their hats low so that their faces won’t be seen. They just continued to cook their meat and, to their luck, they didn’t notice them.

 

When Mark and SunHi walked right past, they told the girls they can come out now.

 

These snapbacks saved our asses. Thanks to you. – Jimin

 

Haha. I’m so glad I bought them. – MinHee

 

Come on now get up so we can eat. – DK

 

It was hot down there. – Aeyoung

 

I mean the engine is down there. – Jungkook said helping Aeyoung out.

 

. – RaeLin whispered.

 

What? – All of them ask

 

There at the table right behind you. – MinHee said to Jimin’s side.

 

Lucky the chairs where high enough for them not to see. MinHee stood up to go use the bathroom, but sat back down when she saw Mark.

 

No one talks and no one uses the bathroom. – Aeyoung

 

Everyone nodded and pulled their caps low so there face isn’t showing and continue they meal.

 

After about 30 minutes of eating, everyone was done and paid the cashier already.

 

Okay this is going to be the scary part. – Joshua

 

Yeah. Let’s make a plan. – Jungkook

 

Okay, first were gonna quickly run out of the restaurant. Then were gonna quickly run either to the car or to somewhere you can hide if they follow us out. – Aeyoung

 

Okay. – Everyone agrees.

 

Once everyone got calm enough, they nodded to each other signaling that the plan is going to be in action. Everyone stood up with their caps down low so their face won’t be seen.

 

Hey isn’t that Jungkook? – SunHi

 

Yeah I think so. Let’s go after them. – Mark

 

They overheard their conversation and started to walk even faster. As they were walking out the exit, MinHee’s shirt got stuck in the door.

 

. Why does this have to happen in an emergency?!?! – MinHee

 

Here. – DK was helping her but was panicking when he saw SunHi and Mark walking toward them.

 

DK just ripped part of her shirt and started running down the stairs. They saw Mark and SunHi walk out of the exit. They were panicking but MinHee had an idea.

 

You better not talk about this to anyone. – MinHee

 

Wh – DK got cut off by MinHee pulling him into a kiss having her head toward them so they won’t see them.

 

Let’s go the other way. – Mark

 

As they were walking away, DK put his hands around MinHee’s waist.

 

When they for sure knew that they were gone they broke apart.

 

Ohhh~ So what was that about? – Aeyoung said smirking

 

Shut up. Anyway where’s the rest? – MinHee

 

Don’t worry only I saw the rest went into like an ally way. – Aeyoung

 

Okay, but I knew you took pictures. Delete them or else. – MinHee

 

Or else what? – Aeyoung smirked

 

MinHee went up to Aeyoung and whispered something in her ear. Aeyoung’s smirk disappeared the moment she whispered into her ear.

 

So are you gonna delete it? – MinHee

 

Yes m’am. – Aeyoung

 

Now let me see your phone if you sent the pic to anyone else. – MinHee

 

Aeyoung showed her phone. MinHee nodded in approval.

 

I'm gonna go home now before Mark gets home. – MinHee

 

Here I’ll walk you home. – DK

 

Okay don’t do anything dirty. – Aeyoung winked

 

MinHee gave Aeyoung a death glare and she shut .

 

Well okay goodbye see you tomorrow. – Aeyoung

 

Bye. – MinHee and DK waved at Aeyoung

 

As MinHee and DK were walking there, was an awkward silence. 3 minutes later. Still walking in silence but MinHee decided to break it.

 

Hey, I'm sorry for what I did back there. – MinHee

 

Nah, you shouldn’t apologize. – DK

 

Umm alright. – MinHee

 

There was another silence but DK decided to hold MinHee’s hand. She got surprised at DK’s actions.

 

DK? – MinHee

 

Okay. This was what I was supposed to tell you the last time I talked to you at Krystal’s house. I really like you. I wasn’t planning to tell you because I thought that it would ruin our friendship. So I just want to ask you. Will you be my girlfriend? – DK said while making MinHee face him and look at him in the eyes.

 

MinHee was confused and wasn’t in her own world. But when she looked at DK’s eyes she came back to herself.

 

MinHee smiled.

 

I’m really glad you told me first. I thought the same thing as you. – MinHee

 

So is that a yes? – DK

 

It’s not a no. – MinHee said smiling from ear to ear.

 

DK was so happy that he picked her up and swung her around. About 3 minutes of swinging MinHee around, DK pulled MinHee into a kiss. She was surprised at first but wrapped her arms around DK’s neck.

 

 MinHee realized what time it was and broke the kiss.

 

I should really get home. Mark might be there soon. – MinHee

 

Okay. Let’s go. – DK said holding MinHee’s hand.

 

After walking for about 15 minutes, they finally reached MinHee’s house.

 

Hey if your free tomorrow and wanna hang out just text me. – DK

 

Will do. – MinHee

 

After that they had one last kiss before MinHee went inside. However, she popped her head out the door once more.

 

Love you. –MinHee

 

Hehe. Love you too. – DK

 

MinHee walked. She took one step forward and the chair in the living room turned around, showing her mother smiling creepily.

 

Soooo~ who was that? - Mrs. Tuan said still smiling.

 

Umm DK. You remember him right? - MinHee says taking off her shoes.

 

Ooo yeah that nice boy who always used to come over when you were little. I'm glad he's your boyfriend sweetie~  Mrs. Tuan

 

Moom! He's not my boyfriend! - MinHee

 

You can't hide anything form your mother honey. I heard everything outside. Friends don't say I love you. - Mrs. Tuan

 

Aish! I can't hide anything from you! - MinHee sulks, running up the stairs.

 

Mommy still loves you~ - Mrs. Tuan

 

After that MinHee just walked into her room and got changed. She finished changing and heard someone come in the house. MinHee ran downstairs and saw Mark taking off his shoes.

 

Where were you today? – MinHee

 

Just went to go eat. – Mark

 

You can’t hide it. I know you went somewhere with SunHi. So how was it. – MinHee

 

Fine. It was great. – Mark

 

So do you guys have another date tomorrow? – MinHee

 

Yes, but not telling you where. – Mark

 

Never asked. – MinHee said sticking out her tongue.

 

Are you guys going on a date tomorrow? - Mark said smirking.

 

 W-What are you talking bout? I don't have a boyfriend. - MinHee

 

Mark pulls out his phone and shows a video of DK and MinHee at the front door.

 

Where did you get this?! - MinHee

 

I got home right after you did. Now I have blackmail on you. - Mark smirks

 

That is so not fair! - MinHee

 

Yes it is. - Mark walks past her and up the stairs.

 

*Great my whole family knows. * - MinHee's mind.

 

They just decided to go straight to bed because they were tired after what happened today.

 

Next morning 9:47

 

MinHee was walking out of her bedroom but stopped when she heard Mark talking downstairs.

 

Mom I'm going out today. – Mark

 

Okay, but where are you going? – Mom

 

I’m just going to the Amusement park. – Mark

 

Okay have fun. – Mom

 

Yeah bye. - Mark

 

Hehehe. See I never needed to ask you. MinHee said to herself.

 

MinHee walked back into her room and texted the group chat without Mark and SunHi.

No. – Jimin

 

Nope. I’m free like every day. – RaeLin
