He hates this about her, he wants to tell her, the pretence, the bravado. That she's acting like he's stupid, like it's all in his head, as if he hasn't memorized every turn of her body, can't measure the exact distance between them, doesn't know her avoidance intimately. Like he hasn't spend years doing just that.

Seriously show, you had two Kim So Hyun's to work with, how could you possibly have screwed up everything so badly?? Do you know that I shipped five of the possible six permutations and combinations of your four leads, and yet you HAD to endgame the sixth? Go sit in the corner, show, you've been bad. (ofc the ships weren't the only issue by a long shot- i'm still wtffff at Eun Bi basically taking over Eun Byul's life and Eun Byul sent "abroad" mid-semester.)

Like everyone in the universe I was shipping Tae Kwang/Eun Bi, and then Yi An/Eun Byul happened too- and just HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE SAME ACTORS TO HAVE SUCH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF CHEMISTRY? I watch Eun Bi/Yi An and it's like 'uh, okay'. Then Eun Byul/Yi An have some two scenes together, and they're so hot, I end up with a 8000+ words of fix-it fic (and that too from the POV of a character that I didn't particularly identify with). That library scene slayed me. ugh, why, show, why. You had two of the best dramaland pairings possible. WHY? Also you cannot convince me that anyone, especially Yi An could ever get over Eun Byul, fierce goddess that she is. Nope. And Tae Kwang/Eun Bi, the ridiculously adorable you-look-like-every-sea-animal-we-eat, WE COULD HAVE HAD IT ALL. I disclaim all responsibility for this fic, the show made me do it.
