"It was a cure, they said. So no one would feel any pain anymore." says the girl in front of Taeyeon.

"Pain? What kind of pain? I still feel that painful wound on my knee when I tripped over a rock." Taeyeon replies, her eyebrows raised while staring at the girl who beamed at her.

"Not that pain, silly. The pain of losing someone is what I'm talking about." 

"But...What about the photographs? Our memories with them?" 

The girl leaned back on her seat and crossed her arms, "Honestly, I don't know. My knowledge is only limited. My father will kill me if he knew I told you this." 

"Wha-...Your father did whatever that 'cure' is?" 

"He's just one of them..." The girl smiled sadly and sipped the glass of juice in her hands. "I guess he's still sad about my mother's death." 

Taeyeon didn't comment. "Wait. You remember your mother's death?" 

The girl smiled, "I refused to take it. The drug only works for a few months anyway. It's up to you if you want to have more."

"The body slowly fades away when the person A is dead in person B's (who has taken the drug)  eyes. What the..." 

The girl laughed.

Taeyeon felt her heart thumping hard in her chest when she heard the cheery laughter. Her eyes glancing up at the girl grinning at her, "So the dead person fades away in front of whoever has taken the drug?" 

"Yup." 

"And so, their memories with that dead person also fades?" 

"Not really." The girl leaned forward, "It's just stored somewhere at the back of your mind. And so, deja vu's starts to happen." 

"Man..." Taeyeon mumbled. "This is sick..." 

The girl sadly smiles, "If I die, Taeyeon-ah...You'll never remember me."

Taeyeon looked up and saw the sad eyes, "Don't say those things, Fany."
